Some persons don't know their island. You start filming over the caroni swamp which is rich in different species of birds like the scarlet ibis and snakes. That long river is the caroni river. We saw the plains where sugar cane and rice used to be cultivated. Thanks Richard for that lovely view.

Richard, you should come to Trinidad to experience our Independence Day, which is on the 31st of August at round 7:00 am at the Queen's Park Savannah. Where there is a parade of the armed forces and other branches of law enforcement as well as the civil service and heads of state in attendance. And at night not sure what time but there is fireworks in the Queen's Park Savannah. When you coming into the airport on that day you can ask them what time these events start. You'll have a blast and be able to capture it all on video.

Piarco international Airport ,Port of Spain is the Capital of Trinidad an is located in the west of Trinidad the airport is more east,
Piarco is central East ,port of Spain is North West Trinidad
