Greetings from Yorkshire Leeds. In the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. When I was a child my dad will every holiday take the family to maracas beach I have been there for about 60 years or more I am really enjoying this video. Thank u blessings.
Nice atmosphere... It's pretty seeing the beach nestled between the peaks like that. Also, it seems to make for placid water. Enjoy!
Truly really beautiful, especially with the mountains backdrop with wispy clouds moving across the toos. It's actually one of the most dangerous beaches and the current is deceptively calm on the surface with undercurrents that can drag you in a heartbeat. You need to pay attention and swim ONLY where indicated. My friend had to be rescued and barely made it. The shark and bake with hot sauce is deeeelicious !! 👍🏽
Oh it's not placid.
That is a lovely, lovely day in Maracas and the sea is really calm. During certain times of the year the sea can be very rough and very aggressive with high tides and strong currents and thats when you see the safety flags on the beach. But this looks like its 8am in the morning.

Island Girl you blind you ent see how stink the government have that beach with dog pooping and pieces of dried tree branch littered all over the sand area.

I am a Trinidadian born and raised, True soca Warrior and I know all the cultural heritage it has to offer. I have been to every single beach there. I practically lived in Tyrico Beach and Las Cuevas Bay every other weekend. FYI

Also, a quick suggestion/feedback I think some commentary on the area you're in would be a great add, perhaps some history or statistics on the place (for other vids ofc).

I was going to go to Asia this year, but my parents said they wanted to go to Guadalajara and wanted me to be there with them. Once I got started in Mexico my only easy travel was to keep going south, which I didn't mind.

Ok thank's, good to know this because look very pretty place but like many island the tourists make the country expensive, and it's true the Colombia it's expensive I don't know how people can to live with salary minimum of 800 000 pesos and one house the minimum to rent it's 600 000 pesos ans nothing pretty.
