- The Brix Autograph Collection by Marriott in Trinidad and Tobago has 159 rooms, which has more room space than almost all other hotels here in Trinidad. It was given the name Brix, because it is the measure of sugar dissolved in liquid, not wonder the rooftop lounge was called Sugar High which we also explored in this one, so join us my Trinbago Vibes peeps as we review the Brix Hotel right here in Trinidad and Tobago, which opened it doors in February 2022

Awesome review! Seeing that spot brought back some of the ol’ Carlton Savannah memories -when I lived in T&T (2009-2018). We had many parties both by the poolside and the rooftop! What a nice transformation. I’d love to curate their playlists…I do that for a living (mostly hotels in Montreal, and Quebec City). Well done, fam!

It has the look of a boutique hotel, IMO. The room looked very clean. (BTW, that stool is not for wet clothes and towels it’s to rest your open suitcase on for unpacking and packing, 😄.) Breakfast looked good; I think all hotels in the Caribbean should offer local and continental breakfast items. Was it Orange Pekoe tea that she liked? Another good video, 👍.

That is a beautiful modern looking hotel, and it seems so clean. Good price too. I love Julia's breakfast review, on point. And Rajeev that thing in the closet is a luggage rack eh, not something to hang clothes 😅

Vibes another entertaining and informative vlog. 👌. Great to see regeneration in progress, I vaguely remember the name Charlton, glad to see a great addition to the country's ability to host tourists.
The local prices are not bad for two people including breakfast. Great views, nice use of the limited space, parking appears to be secure which is so important. Looks suited for business tourists mostly. The only negative comment, the complimentary drink 🍸 should have been in a glass not a plastic cup. We need to be competitive internationally and to reduce single use plastic. Later.

Nice video yes go back for Independence Day . I have the pleasure off seeking that fire works from my home in Belmont it’s beautifully. every morning I sit and have my coffee and watch some of the view you saw from the brix.wake up at 3am . so it’s beautiful view with the lights. 💕💕

Really nice, I live deep South and I've been looking for somewhere on they intent but can't get nothing like what you did, indept into tush place which seems like a place to go with my 4yr son, so I like the Independence idea, plus the price is good for 2 people. Would like to see one on Crews Inn if possible

I am sold with this hotel; clean, modern and spacious. Definitely will check it out. I suspect there is a refrigerator in the room....? The view is phenomenal, so lush! As @bagladey said, that furniture piece in the closet is called a luggage rack used for your suitcase. I am happy to hear they offer free breakfast with your stay. That is a plus+++
They indeed have a mini fridge by the bar type area in the room

Thank you and I recall seeing something called the Pelican Inn, the one down Chaguaramas is Crews Inn and will definitely tackle there one of these days… and (spoilers) the boardwalk video is in the making

Lol, yeah the breakfast at the Brix was good but the desserts and pastries was a let down, so for this reason, I’ll have to rate the breakfast of the Hyatt over this

Yes you can, to both the rooftop and the exchange, will just have to park in the regular carpark

Out of all the hotel in Trinidad I prefer the Hilton hotel

How is it that hotels build faster than hospitals in your country ?
Private vs Government is my best guess, but statistically 4 hospitals have opened during the period that 2 new hotels came on board and one was a refurbishment so 🤷🏽♂️…now if they can fix all the bad roads we have that’d be great
