@@KeyserTheRedBeard Thanks mate I have been a bit slack lately I get them rolling again when it starts warming up it’s been freezing here. Thanks for watching.
This is great thank you 😁 we are just starting our building our homestead in Gippsland Vic Australia. Great to see other Aussies managing their pastures .. Maybe you'll stop in on our channel one day 😁 cheers Deniz
Hi mate, Can you make enough to live off from 40 head if you don’t have a mortgage on your farm? I’m looking to stick some cattle on my farm here in Bucca. Thanks in advance and subbed.
Hello, I am a foreigner and don't know much about Australia, so my question may seem a little naive. I noticed that you said that you have 40 cows. How much net profit can these cows bring you every year? Is the source of income milk or selling cattle? Good video, thank you for sharing!
Hi we are beef producers and the market varies a lot at the moment there is very little money in beef cattle in Australia. But that can change quickly and depending on rain it is very dry here at present. We sold more than half our stock before the winter when the prices were still fair. Thanks for watching.
Hi with cattle in Queensland I think you have to have a certain amount of land to be registered as a grazier. Then you have to turn over a minimum of $20,000 a year check with a good rural accountant or stock agent in your area. Cheers and Thanks for watching.
Hi Matt I had a look at it today and there is no brand name on it and I don’t have the box I bought it from Nutrien ag solutions I hope that helps it was about 14 bucks from memory. Thanks for watching.
Hi David we have been very lucky with rain during summer. There are places 1/2 an hour away from us that are quite dry and it does get dry where we are to. I hope the seasons are good to you I have been to America a couple of times and love it but have never been to the New England area. The last trip we did was in 2019 and we went from New York to Pensilvania to Tennessee beautiful country down through the Caroliners Savannah Georgia Jacksonville Florida Miami and New Orleans it was an amazing trip we did over 4 weeks. We are planning on going back not sure when though. Thanks for watching.👍
@@aussiebattlerfarming61 I recently found out too. According to the Dept of primary industries, The scientific name "destructor" actually refers to the Yabby's tendency to burrow into levee banks and dam walls where they can cause considerable damage. Yabbies are detritus feeders and opportunistic carnivores. They are also cannibalistic.
Hi Jesse we are running 40 head at the moment but hope to improve on that over the next couple of years with rotational grazing improving pastures. Thanks for watching.

Animal husbandry that utilizes large areas of land is very important to minimize feed ingredients

@@aussiebattlerfarming61 Thank you! Are these 40 cows enough to become a person's full-time annual income?
No it’s not my wife and I both have jobs of the Farm.
Good farm it's my Dream
Love the Caw so much
Great video! I’m keen on doing something similar, how many steers would I need to keep the tax man happy and not be classed as a hobby farmer?
Cheers.
