LOVE THESE DAILY VIDEOS! Keep them coming! Great job!
I'm really enjoying these recent videos. Great to see you guys together doing reviews. Your personalities and friendship really shines through.
Nice. I really appreciate that you got out and shared the results of using the equipment in a real-ish situation.
Thats is one of the most fun videos that you have made guys. It's very informative but fun at the same time. Love it
Man, that was one of the coolest videos I've seen in a while!! Thanks for posting!
loving these daily uploads y'all
Vizslas always add charm to any photo. Good vid fellers.
Well id love this light
I love this every day video series of yours :o) good job!
nice review... love how you test it to the limit. Keep up with the great work :)
Nice inexpensive alternative for an indoor video setup for sure! Thx guyz :)
Great review
Love your tshirt Patrick ... :)
Very nice video! Keep it up!
so much fun, thanks~
omg im in love
You guys should have your own comedy show 🤪
Interesting light, pretty cool..
Lol good thing you guys know each other, telling a client they look like death would not be good 😂
awesome
It will be good for Night portraits
Nice
did you find a mount to angle the light down without using a boom? i hate it just points forward or up.
Great video :-)
Hey, which v mount batteries and charger should I use with these. I have 2 falcon eyes white light 18T lights
9:49 You could do the same with Patrick in your arms instead of Leo. It's also way easier because you would only need one hand!
Even funnier it would be, creating more likes.
nice to see Nelson Bighetti is moon lighting as a photographer
Does this come with a stand?
Need a review on an around town bag for a Nikon Holy Trinity combo for people with back pain :) ... And kids and a wife who do not offer porter services :)
Fun review, however, I am a bit shocked by just how small Patrick is (I've been watching your vids for years, and never knew he could actually fit in my pocket)... He reminds me of the little dwarf in Game of Thrones!
OMG I have a Weimaraner, so seeing the antics of your Visla feels all too familiar LMAO
I'm not going be be able to watch anymore of these videos. I bought a new camera bag yesterday to hold one of my AAA battery and now a new cumbersome lighting system. LOL
I'm not sure why I did not subscribe to your channel sooner but. out of the channels I watch I think I like yall the most because you actually make a lot more sense than most I have seen haha except why you buy 2700 dollar lights.
How about a review of all of the Rotolight products for video and photography? 🍻
I would use this for photography if they figure out how to integrate everything together. I don't like to invert DC to AC, and then rectify AC back to DC again.
Could you please tell the model and brand of this led light ?
ha ha haha.. a wonderful video.. a constant disappointment to your parents -- i feel you bro !! Good one as always
These two are like a comedy act in waiting. Just start doing stand-up already
please review the rotolight please please please
highest level of effort and stress for a review ever. Dog rolled in poop, then you picked him up just to illustrate how the light panel is useful for outdoor video? Wow!
It's half as bright because it's bi color?
the thing I hated most about this video, was spending all that time waiting for you guys to sneak in a "WE'RE PREGNANT" in there somewhere! LOL - Happy New Years!
Primal Edge nope. Still a disappointment
well, not here! great video. keep em' coming.
I didn’t know bud bundy was a photographer 🤣
Review the Rotolight!
Thanks Fstoppers, now I know not to buy this not so useful light. Thanks for saving me Money!!!
in the sunlight? Not a lot of lights can compete with the sun. I wouldn't call this useless lol
Low key blindsided patrick
This is advertised as a 150 watt LED but the delivered power source is only 75 watt (15V x 5A). How is it possible that you didn´t realized it. Or is that intentional? This is clearly misleading and very suspect for a paid review.
Honestly I'm not sure. Could it be that it's a 150 watt equivalent? I know many light bulbs advertise as being 100 watt replacement LED but is only say 67 actual watts. Watts are actually a pretty poor way of comparing things (not just photography lighting gear). The best thing to do would be to compare it with a light meter and another similar light source but we didn't have either of those at the time. -P
Snow white called...she wants her dwarf back 😂😂
lol get a Lume Cube so much easier...
Even the rotight neo 2 is better.
Intro sound is too loud

But you're also shooting these test shots from about a meter away. Practically speaking, do you really want a light that you have to get that close to your subject with to get that much lighting?
Technically speaking, direct sunlight is going to be putting out a whopping 10,000 lux (lumens per square meter) which only an insane person would try to fight with. Sunlight will never not have to be your key light. Through even a single window, you need over 1000 lux to overpower direct sunlight. Which means even if you HAVE a light like the Aputure f7 that is capable of putting out 1500 lux at 1 meter, its still not even going to be viable at that distance as a key light if you have even a single window open and you throw a diffuser on it. The sun is just too powerful, if its there at all, you have to build all your shoots around it. This is the kind of important theory and creative considerations that bothers me that no one is talking about. Everyone is always comparing different lights to each other in a sterile studio environment, but no one is showing how these lights compare to the almighty and OP brightness of THE FUCKING SUN. And no one is doing distance tests either. What if i want to pull a light 3 meters back from my subject? What if i have overhead industrial lights i can't turn off? I'm about to just become a youtuber and experiment with this stuff myself just so SOMEONE bothers to talk about the hard hitting issues
07:38, 07:42, 08:02, creeping hand
so much with the professional photography, that's a rookie mistake
again at 08:57
Too many cables
"ONLY $500.oo!"
I said the same thing, lol
Wow that was annoying.
awesome
