Such a shame that Corey's guitar kept cutting out throughout, then died at the end, same for down from the sky, a great set, awesome song, but so unfortunate :(
+PopcornSkorpion Exactly, or even In Waves or Gunshot to the head of Trepidation, picking the newest one, that had tech issues and not many had heard it over the ones the crowd went wild for was a bad move.
Yeah it's not all normally like this. I have stood in front of his Amp and it's not quiet, it's very loud lol. I think at this point both were using Kempers though which emulate the sound of a preset rig. He didn't cut out btw he was just mixed out.
There are a few metal bands out right now that are slaying the genre. Trivium is tops among them. Their sound is raw, bluesy and downright vicious. They hold their own with the likes of Volbeat, Ghost, Avatar and some other killer acts out right now.
Paolo drops the bridge pickup volume slightly i believe. There a bit of a cut to the mids too. His tone is super clean, its just a slightly gritty ampeg sound really
I to this day absolutely completely regret NOT seeing Trivium headline Bloodstock Open Air Festival… I went there back in 2012, and suggested that Trivium certainly did deserve a slot on the main stage, little did I know they were to be made headliners just three years later, D’OH!!
+Jimmy Hustler As a bassist, I totally understand the fundamental role of the instrument, but still I really don't like bands with zero bass presence, just sitting in the background filling in root notes. Bassists should be a power vehicle to drive a band forward! And we need more fucking bass solos, I'm not to big on death metal and extreme metal but the bassist in that area do shit right!
Thrash, melo death, death metal, neo classical, symphonic are all my favourites, etc etc. I don't like the bass being too powerful, but it's still needed, I like it to be felt, and barely heard, but easily discerned when looking for it, that's my honest opinion, guitar and bass should make one larger sound, not two distinctive ones
+IVIShillizIVI seriously. this is horrible. he simply cannot pull off this style of vocals live. this is a hot mess and people are deaf if they think his live vox are great now. to top it all off, paolo's terrible back-up vox make me cringe.

+chaos polo Yeah they should have uploaded a late set song like Pull Harder or Into the mouth of hell we march.

RIP Corey's guitar
Corey’s guitar cutting out made us realize just how quiet Matt’s amp is.

I'm sorry for Corey but is nice to hear the Paolo's bass & vocals.
At least, he made his solo 😀👍

I wouldn't call volbeat a killer act...but to each their own.
you need to gear more
I love that bass tone. I wish I could get my bass to sound like that.
Spooky Scrub Dat Kemper though.
Sansamp bass driver and active Musicman style pickups!
yeah get a bass preamp and get an active bass and mess around with the settings until you get that raw bass tone
if you cut all the mids and most of the bass and up the treble you should get this kind of tone
Paolo drops the bridge pickup volume slightly i believe. There a bit of a cut to the mids too. His tone is super clean, its just a slightly gritty ampeg sound really
Corey appeared twice in this video.
I counted three .-.
Corey's guitar was cutting out a lot in this song and Down From The Sky. So for some reason they didn't show him at all.
their performance are getting better..
Not Paolos voice tho
+Gonzalo Chairez Paolo always sucked at singing, thats nothing new. But hes a badass bass player
Matt did a great job!!! Only one guitar! As well as Palolo he did so good! keeping the bass beating!
this well written song one there best ever
Sounds exactly like the studio! Such a great band!

awesome performance :D
Way cooler
fucking awesome...
I like this one.
For me in the mix, the voice its so loud... but man.... this is great!!!
Man, wasn't a fan of the switch to Warwick, loving the BC Warlock, but fuck it's growing on me, just listen to the power!
+Ta-shann Fearon Paolo's new bass?
Jimmy Hustler yes
yeah it definitely sounds beefy

COLD FIRE❗️💙… in the snow.🤍
lol Everyone's bashing Paolo when Matt doesn't sound any better. I haven't found one solid performance of this song yet.
But Matt sounds great here tho
@@pjn2432 U kidding?
this thing called auto tune
Anyone hear the snare hit on the first hit in the intro? That what happens when you use triggers on every drum. Especially for soundboard audio.
Paolo you had one job.... you're fired.
Fucking love this song but damn, Paolo needs to stop those backing vocals. Those harmonies don't work
+Cr4nium13 I think the outro harmony is great, some sound a bit strange yes.
The pre-chorus and chorus just don't work, he seems to push too much and it just sounds weird, the bridge before the solo sounds good though
+Cr4nium13 Lets agree, it's not consistent.
Fuckin agreed or turn he's mic down.
+Cr4nium13 somehow his voice is weird
Is this the concert where one Corey King Beaulieu guitar cut out? Can’t see him anywhere 😮
The audio tech seems very shit from the Trivium songs they've uploaded.
First time this was ever played live!
+Matt Noble not really
yeah really
+vicenter1000 It was the first time they played it live.
+Matt Noble /watch?v=dPpIVCP1Abg this was in august, so not really
I don't understand what you're saying.
Trivium's first show since the end of 2014 was this one
this better than there old stuff imo
Eh, I love all of their stuff, Shogun is my favourite, but imo SITS songs kill Shogun songs when it comes to live.
@Michael Willis necropost?
Was back when Matt couldn’t scream?
Stevie Grijalva yeah
OHMYGOD Paolo,why??
+Stas Halushka what!? :D
He is ok
Was good
(SIC )
0:17 to 0:23, Madiro is the best tempo keeper on trivium ... sure it is lel, sloppy fill and out of tempo lol
Is this from a dvd or something?
Damn...when you fuck up your own drum intro.
Why they stop playing silence in the snow in their recent shows???
Waldo Torres I guess they're mixing in more of the old stuff
why can't heafy do vocals anymore
+IVIShillizIVI seriously. this is horrible. he simply cannot pull off this style of vocals live. this is a hot mess and people are deaf if they think his live vox are great now. to top it all off, paolo's terrible back-up vox make me cringe.
+se7endreams He did blow his voice in 2014...
+Alistair Lisle apparently, according to his Twitter, Matt's learning to scream again in a different style
+Alistair, hein blew 1st time in shogun tour
Eric Fernando no I think it was for Vengeance Falls tour he blew them
why madiro gones why someone tell me whyyyyyyyyyyyy
Hahaha Paolo backing vocals are really bad.
what happened .he sounded so out of tune
Voice fuckery
He fricked his voice up
I have a lot of respect for these guys, seriously, however these vocals are quite out of tune and powerless... maybe it was just a bad day
I think this was a few months after Matt blew out his voice.
