Turns out if you honk at them enough, they will get pissed and start chasing you. The first couple times they'll just flash their lights back at you, but if you keep honking, that apparently annoys them. It's definitely a fun way of getting to Heat 1 without starting a race or crashing into a cop, both situations in which you could be taking damage.
That's almost as bad as the on foot cops in GTAV, stand near them long enough, they'll first push you then start shooting at you... An armed guard at the start of The Last of Us is even worse, one warning push, then he shoots you dead! 😮😃 .

The thing about opening your map to pause the game is that at a high heat level if you are on a road there's a 50/50 chance a cop will randomly spawn right in front of you that wasn't there before. There's no way to get around it unless you go in a field to check your map, and it's ruined a lot of my night sessions.
One thing I noticed during my nighttime rep grind is that the game not actually stops when paused - it only freezes all vehicles. But! I went afk for fifteen minutes and when I returned i was shocked because how many cops were spawned in the streets nearby me. I wasn't in pursuit, just hiding and during the pause amount of cops patrolling the streets went from five to fifty
The purple star looking icon on the top left of cars at the dealership means that they don't have visual customization options (or little to none I believe)
When customizing a car, if you remove all customization when it's stock, you will get a "hidden" license plate, the Fortune Valley one. Not to be confused with the other NFS Payback plate.
Additionally, you can grind the high heat races on solo and utilise the game pause when opening your map to plan where you want to go. If you are also smart, you can do races near the high heat races and use the retry race at the end of the race to be teleported back to where you need to be (mainly for those sprint races). This can make a great alternative if you cannot get 3 people so I advise this for the solo players
I’ve been playing this game since day one and I love it. I’m playing it right now. I’m glad new people are coming in and it’s still being played, however I’m super pissed that support for this game has been completed dropped
When you’re driving you don’t need to set a waypoint all you need to do is look at the sky, and you’ll see the safe houses drive with an off road and there you do not need to risk getting seen by cops.
I have never heard anyone talk about it but the abandon ship jump at the harbor makes any cop ( even heat 5 ) either destroys their car or makes them lose sight of you. If there is a helicopter it usually can’t see you for long enough to lose you, if it isn’t long enough jump again, I have used this so many times
Top 2 and 1 were actually very useful! Those were the ones that I didn’t know, but ironically, I found those two the most important/useful ones, thx for uploading this

2:15 IDK how Heat managed to mess this up, but ride height does change the collision of the car, and the lower the ride height/suspension, the easier it is to crash out on curbs at high speeds.
for those who doesnt know yet, heat 3-4-5 chases can be a pain in the arse. if you wanna end it quickly just find a place that jumps over from a building to another or that jumps over the water. jump that, the cops will follow and crash while trying to go across. job done and you're free to escape
i believe ride hide does affect bottoming out. Especially on the circuit track, where i’ve bottomed out and had my car wipe out. also when i did the jump challenges, having a higher ride height would help not bottom out on the ramp and lose distance
I believe ride height does effect the car. Camber , not so much. I've noticed with ride height tho , certain places the car will hit 'bumps' in the road however with it sitting higher it wont.
The cars camber and suspension does actually seem to have an effect on physics since the car doesn't collide with the groud as easily when driving on an uneven track so i like to have it higher for those moments (i dont actually know it is like that but in my experience id say it is)

To point 8, I have a question. In the raceway, I sometimes feels lime the Spoiler changes the Hitbox. I hit the walls, but only with the Spoiler, nothing else.
Agreed but using Navigation and manipulating the cops attachment to spawn revolving around that route is like training zombies! Makes keeping distance when you really want it a bit easier in my opinion
If you get seen by a cop while the cops are not actively looking for you (Dispatch calls off searching for you, when licensed music is playing), there is a grace period before pursuit starts. If you get out of sight of the Cop, you can prevent the pursuit from beginning.

You forgot to mention that, at night you can get rid of cops if you jump over a ramp/bridge in a few places in the map and another place where you can lose them where you get the free Aston Martin
5head idea; So if you make a navigation route while in a cop chase, cops will spawn on your navigation route. So if your safehouse is let's say to the north, can you navigate to a random place to the east which makes cops spawn on another route instead?
Being a veteran player of many NFS games, you're wrong about one thing. Ride height ABSOLUTELY has an effect on your car. Especially with those long and low supercars. I specifically look for stuff that raises the floor of the car, and gives travel of wheel both ways. Otherwise you bounce and flip all the time if you go off road or hit a bump too fast. 100% can be proven
Even heat level 5 cops can't keep up with you if you're in a 400 plus car going around the track. Also it's fun going around the track backwards because they can't seem to process.

actually cosmetic suspension height and camber can slightly effect performance. it can affect how much some cars scrape the ground and such. also the solo pause thing isn't true actually. cops still move around and can still spot you while on the map screen. you can even see it in the clip you used. only proper pausing actually pauses the game

For people who are just starting now, don't rush to complete the game, take your sweet ass time. It is a very short game and once you complete it, there's nothing much to do.
Bro I dont play the game with a controller and I also think there are many players who just use their keyboard and mouse to play. Most of the time in your videos you show/talk only about controllers, please also tell how to do it on Keyboard too like the quick navigation to the nearest safe house etc. I find your videos very fun, I watch them but most of the time I cant apply what you teach because I dont use a controller.
And sell parts and headlights changed like the yellow GT tint makes it like those old yellow car headlights like in the 60s but if you get a modern car it will have white headlights

Camber and ride height DO make a difference. Slam your car and it will bounce off every little bump. Camber out a little will help you stick in corners. Try it

With the visual mods, lowering the car to the max actually will affect your driving, like over hills and mess it scrapes and sometimes makes you no be able to steer during the time it scrapes.
This is incorrect. I've done extensive testing on this and have found no difference between stock ride height and lowered ride height with regards to scraping. It seems logical that it would because it does in real life, but it does effect anything in this game. The cars that scrape always scrape no matter the ride height. The speed you are travelling actually has an effect on scrapes though.

i did that to my c10 n re customized it then i noticed i had that fortune valley plate lol thanks for the info 💯

I think it’s the camera or photo editor when you hold down your right joystick.
Start clicking right joystick down just before a jump to enter photo mode mid air. Must be done in a solo lobby
On PC keep pressing the Print screen (prt sc) button

I just played nfs heat for the first time in about 2 months man this game is fun. looks beautiful on the PS5
Most of the events are marked with "!" Mark completed both events but still the mark doesn't change
If u wanna swap a car without going into the garage go to any race change cars then exit the race (daytime only) saved me hours of loading screens

To get ultimate parts you can just do a heat 3 race but if you want the ultimate + parts you need a heat 5 race

There are heat 3and 5 races and you have to come in top 5 in order to get a ultimate plus part you have to do a heat 5 race
it so damn hard to get past the traffic in these heat races
