As someone who is testing the Wrath of Cobra, I can’t say much of anything, other than, Joe fans are in for an amazingly fun game, and MPG are absolutely huge fans who really care about GIJoe. The wait will be worth it!
Do not get too excited 2024 might be the last year of classified thanks to cocks and the figures just being oring remastered nothing new nothing original no updates like the amazing first wave or pursuit of cobra resolute renegades... and other S7 stuff is just going to pegwarm someone said the 3.75 scale is a dead scale and i agree. so yeah i will enjoy the cool figures they make because they do some great figures but not all of them.
This feels a little hypocritical because my G.l.Joe collection is fixed on a narrow window of nostalgia and I'm not buying new creations like Mole Rats or Wolf Spider, but I really hope the new O-ring line is able to push the franchise FORWARD. Obviously they won't be able to create brand new characters; I can't imagine Hasbro would leave themselves open to a legal dispute about ownership that way. But I don't want to see the same old figures that get re-released every time there is a thirst for retro waves. If Super 7 can't create new Joe and Cobra characters, let's at least see some brand new VERSlONs of existing characters. Let them make Scarlett and Spirit in arctic weather gear. iron Grenadier Scrap-lron. Rock 'n Roll in night ops gear for Jeremy Kimberlin. Torpedo and Wetsuit in camo instead of scuba gear. Modern re-designs of Flash, Zap, Short-Fuze, and Breaker. Leatherneck and Mainframe in dress blue Marine uniforms (why only Gung Ho?). A new Alpine in desert camo. An even weirder, creepier version of Hydro-Viper. Stuff like this.
If these are purely Sunbow then I consider that new, but also a lot of us don’t have our old figures so I’m happy to get a chance a new O-ring even if they are redos of already released ones.
I want Super7 to redo the original 13, especially Breaker, Zap, and Shortfuse with the running change heads planned for 1983. I also agree with Pat about the missing Tigerforce figures and Adam about the 1995 line. Who thinks Super7 is helping with the Transformers crossover figures like Zartan and Zarana?
I'm excited for more Classified. I know, I know... who isn't? But I've been collecting 6" action figures since the 90s, and I've wanted G.I.Joe in this scale that entire time... this is a lifelong dream come true! So yeah, I'm happy for what's already been revealed, hinted at, and the rumor mill can keep on churning thru 2024 for me! My top hopes for 2024 are Law & Order, Munitia and Darklon!

I thought I was the only one. This is going to be a really focused line for me to collect as well due to what I had when I was a kid.
