Got my book last week (Texas).
Yes, stunned on how big it is. Carson did tell us dims, but in person, the very large book captures the enormity of feelings for this IP. GI JOE was always bigger than me as a kid. Now it's again bigger than me as a middle aged adult.

I have the original 5 mini-books, so I didn't go in on this one, but I did have a chance to flip through it in person at the NJCC and also speak with Carson about it. I can't say enough how impressive this book is. The amount of time and love he put into making this really shows. He also partnered with Hasbro when making this, so it can be considered official and probably as good as we will ever see for a book based on ARAH.
Comparing this book with your Marvel Universe art book really says a lot about the power of this franchise.

I love that book. I think I got it when I was 8 or 9. So many great photos and information on some of the greatest fighter aircraft ever made. Glad you enjoyed the video.

$150 is a fair price.
But shipping to my country is $180 which I just can't justify, as much as I love Garrido's art.

I've bought a lot of art books over the years, mostly for about $60, but a few were as much as $100. (Like Giger's Necronomicon). I just can't see myself spending three times that much for a book.
I might try some domestic book stores and see if they can import it and sell it for a decent price.
Just wondering was there supposed to be a dvd with the book or am i mistaken?
