Such a regal handsome man with Devastating good looks . He possess the etiquettes of the highest order such low and refined voice .He was immensely talented and it would not be wrong to state that he was the Adonis of the Hindi cinema . He was a pure blue blood man ..... miss you so much sir really miss you tears roll down my eyes ...
extremely well said.Exactly my sentiments as I m sure of millions others. He was the epitome of charm and grace and devastatingly handsome as you mentioned. Never before and never after
This was an interview, that made me realize what a polished and poised gentleman Shashi Kapoor was. Despite his annoyance at the personal questions being asked, never once did Mr Kapoor, displayed his anger or annoyance at that interviewer. The interviewer made me feel more embarrassed than Shashi Kapoor probably felt through out the whole interview.
there is too much love between him & his wife...happy that now he is together with her beloved wife....In question of remarriage how sweetly he reply god doesn't make another one like her....hats off to u sir u r genuine every girls want a partner like u
saheli bose very true.. with that killing personality n the notoriously famous profession full of tempting womens running around him,if he says so then it's a real great gesture from a devoted husband for a dead wife
He is Hindu - we are reborn - there is no magic Retirement Home in the sky - God is not a Sugar Daddy, a Nanny to keep billions of people just sitting about & sponging off him
This interview has revealed so much of Late Shashi Kapoor. The entire interview is fine but the most important and beautiful part of this interview in my eyes was not allowing the interwier to ask him personal questions. The lady was refused 2 or 3 times in a very civilized manner. I have found him boisterous but obviously in impeccable manners. He literally tried his luck and obviously wanted to steel the qualities of Raj Kapoor but couldn't make a block buster movie. All of his 5 productions were bombed (his expressions) very badly. In acting he was ok. Which he had also acknowledged bravely. This is the second most important and beautiful part of this interview. RIP 13 January 2024 Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪
The way he smiles when asked about his personal life. He didn’t want to share and why did the interview keep asking about her. Really his love for his wife was so Pure. A Legend who did unique films which were not commercially successful but were pure cinema
@A H whats that got to do with his english? Shashi had better english before marriage. Raj kapoor and shammi married indian women. Your statement don't justify
He doesn’t want to answer , questions for his wife coz it needed him a life time to explain and express his Love for her... with out saying anything... He said EVERYTHING 👌👍
Not only he was charming and handsome but a true gentleman, humble & polite throughout the interview. Shashi Kappor Ji you are always my favorite hero & love watching all your movies. RIP.
Shashiji is a gem, his wife was the luckiest woman who ever lived, a loyal, handsome, name, fame, I'm sure thousands of women would have thrown them selves at him, but even many years after her death, he stayed loyal to her, spoke his unconditional love for her. Then we have in millions, low lives, with nothing, who has good wives, who gave them status, recognitions, go behind their back & stray with every cheap, pr**titues they can hold off.
He knew her since he was 16, his wife his Childhood love and he got to marry her, but when she died in 1984, a lot him died too, he wasn't same any more. In another interview he said that he feels that his wife visits him still in his lonely house, he was very emotionally attached to her, this is why he doesn't want to talk, he will probably cry in the interview if he did talk
The integrity, love and devotion this man had towards his wife is spell bounding. Despite so much insistence he refused to publicise anything personal and private about her. A rare gentleman, you won’t find people like him these days.
Wasn't he so different? In such a big industry, where gossip was so common, he had no rumour about fighting with any actor, no extramarital affairs, simply a hard-working family man. He belonged to the Kapoor family but was not boisterous like the others. Jennifer was the only love of his life, and after she passed, he decided not to marry, and take care of their children, who reminded him of her. Such a beautiful man, in and out. I wish the industry could've recognised his talent as an actor and filmmaker in a better way. And this interviewer, gosh, she should've been better...
Who feels they can't leave without commenting what a disgraceful interviewer she was? Shashi Kapoor a giant gem of a person. RIP. Wishing the very best to his family and loved ones.
A gem with humble attitude, great looks and most of all what charm and humbleness. An avid romantic, awesome actor without any anger or airs. The best among the Kapoor’s .
"I don't think I can" followed by referencing her to a vintage car model and ending the interview by tapping on the table. Everything was said in this moment. What a man
What is wrong was this stupid "Churail" interviewer, can't she take a hint??? Shashi ji keeps politely telling her that he doesn't want to talk about his personal life in regards to his late wife, but she is deliberately being disrespectful by trying to cross that line. Learn to respect the interviewee's wishes. Such a joy to see this great legend and one of my favourite stars, loved his film's and that million dollar smile, such a great guy...RIP sir...gone but not forgotten.
She is right, there is sense of emotion which interviewer didn't understand and went into personal space even Shashi ji was not interested. But what a great actor and a wonderful person Shashi ji was. A true gem. I wish I could meet him somewhere or could join prithvi theater!! Classic actor and very honest person!!
True love seems like a word of the bygone years. It's good to hear ppl talk and express. At least gives you hope. A thorough gentlemen. Passionate about every lil thing and not taking it for granted. The soul reflects on the face, now we know why and what made shashi kapoor as shashi kapoor so different from the other kapoors. Rip and salute
Marriages r made in heaven ...such a pure soul .nd the loyalty that he had for his wife nd children nd family. It reflected ...so much to admire nd the memories Shashiji gave to all of us.
I'm not even Pakistani but the whole ENTIRE kapoor family's of Raj Kapoor and Anil Kapoor came from Peshawar , SRK is from Peshawar, Dilip Kumar is from Peshawar, Madhubala, Vinod Khanna ., I am pretty sure bollywood would be SUPER bland without these people
The most intellectual of all Kapoors, also the most international. He acted in a number of British productions, and was closely associated with the Kendalls in their theatre productions. Also he produced some really interesting and meaningful films such as Junoon, 36 Chowringhee Lane, Kalyug, and Utsav. He once said in an interview that he acted in commercial films so that he could earn enough money to produce serious films. He was very different from the rest of the Kapoors. In fact, he was much like Prithviraj Kapoor in his love for the theatre. He was not loud and boisterous like the other Kapoors. He was introspective, soft-spoken and a well-read man. He had absolutely no arrogance and was always well-mannered. He was a disciple of serious cinema and admired Chaplin and Ingmar Bergman. If today anyone asks Kareena Kapoor about Ingmar Bergman, she will be like "Ingmar who?" I wish Kareena had inherited some of Shashi Kapoor's genes.
Love u shashiji......RIP sir.....love ur smile, love the grace, the charm.....words r not enough to describe ur looks. The love between him and his wife was so deep, that he felt uncomfortable to even mention her..lest it would give away his emotionally sensitive side....and his sorrows of bereavement.
Shashi Kapoor ji is such a gentleman, and the interviewer is sooo irritating. The way she is again and again coercing him to answer about his wife. Absolutely disgraceful, but Shashiji is soo graceful and so humble.
Shashi Kapoor is a great Indian Actor. His voice is beautiful, His eyes are beautiful, His smile is beautiful, His style is beautiful. He was a perfect and beautiful man. I like him so much..... LOVE FROM PAKISTAN .................IMRAN

i dont get it why he laughs when she asks him “have you ever considered remarrying” as if he was lonely but really couldn’t find anyone compatible to him. what a pity !
There was so much sadness around him during the interview. Like you feel second-hand grief for Jennifer's death almost. I think he laughed because he was a little embarrassed by the question, which he perhaps thought was too direct. But his loneliness was indeed a pity. :(

Shashi Kapoor was devastatingly handsome and charming. He really loved his wife. Hard to find that combination.
What a open hearted man he was, soft gentle spoken
So honest man RIP mr Kapoor love you also miss you
I wish the interviewer was more compassionate in her questioning.
So true! Some of her questions are downright disrespectful
Absolutely. Modern day actors may have walked after saying no to personal questions, 3 times
