I like to watch your movies. Norway is so beautiful... the landscape is amazing. I have two questions :) 1) I would like to know why you decided to buy Kriega equipment? Are better then aluminium panniers? what was the mine reason... price, functionality or something else. 2) I saw in ones of your films tent, is special kind of tent dedicated for touring or typical? I would to buy Lone Rider ADV. I read a lot positive opinion about it, but we will see.. At the moment i organize the equipment for touring. Next year i have a plan to go to Norway. Final destination is Nordkapp :) It's my dream...
Thank you 🙏 To answer your questions: 1) I decided on soft panniers as they don’t break if I drop the bike. I read several reviews that hard panniers might brake or get damaged after a drop. Also, the soft ones are a bit more “flexible” when it comes to packing. And I read that several people have experienced the hard cases as not 100% waterproof🤷♀️ downside to soft panniers is that you cannot lock all of them (you can lock LR). Also, they don’t support fragile things (cameras and more) the same way hard cases do. Also, I first bought Kriega as I liked their design and read good things about them (I have a “Kriega review” video), but last fall I agreed to work with Lone Rider, so now I use their panniers (“semi-soft”), and I’m happy with them as well even though I haven’t been on a longer trip with the new set yet. 2) The tent was originally purchased to be used on hikes and not road trips. I would probably buy a larger and more “comfortable” tent if I only wanted to do road trips 😊 and yes, I have considered the LR ADV tent myself 😄
I'm lusting after your bike... Found one but it's pricey...$20k USD out the door....ouch. My most expensive motorcycle was a 2009 Kawasaki Concours 1400 abs at $12k. Are the tigers priced high in UK also?
Nice, you may find that a lot of people like me are looking for real world feedback about this motorcycle. How long have you had the motorcycle and how many klm have you done with it? Any problems?
Hi, I got the bike in March 2021, so have only had her for about six months so far, but I have already more than 11k km! 😄 I’m might do a full personal review of the bike in a separate video, but a brief summary would be: I’m generally happy with the bike so far, but I have not yet tried out too many different adventure bikes so I have basically nothing to compare the Tiger to. However, people who try my bike do complement the comfort and the feel of the bike on the road 😊 me, I’m very much happy with the bike, especially on longer trips as it feels pretty smooth on the road and it has plenty of “comfort accessories” that make the ride even better - such as cruise control, heated grips and seat, wind screen (if that’s what it’s called), soft seat, etc. I have also done some off road with the bike which has worked fine so far (again, have not tried other similar bikes). Some cons/adjustments I have/want to do: I want to raise the handlebar and lower the pegs somewhat to get a more comfortable riding position on the bike (I’m a short rider, so taller people might find this even more necessary). I was not happy that the RALLY PRO came with street tyres when Triumph listed “Pirelly Scorpion” as a key feature (contacted the dealer and Triumph but they argued that the Pirelly tyres were only “approved” and not included…) Problems so far: I have already had two guarantee claims - #1 passenger peg fell off during a ride; #2 tyre pressure monitor started acting up for no reason. Claims were handled well! 😊 I’ll see if I get to do a more thorough review in not too long where I’ll mention and show more personal pros and cons about the bike 😄
Your video seems to suffer from a low bit rate, lots of compression artefacts. Perhaps you should look into it, plenty of info about it on YT. Otherwise great stuff :)
Can you explain how you spotted that? As I am new amateur to video editing I can't see these things, I can see if a video has a low frame rate or low resolution but what am looking for in terms of low bit rate?
That's decided then. Norway on my 900 Tiger, I've always fancied it. Now I'm sold.
Those water and mountain views are fabulous! We definitely want to travel to Norway. And the best way to see beautiful scenery is by motorcycle.
Amazing view! Beautiful places.
Hope to see more of you and your videos!
What an awesome trip. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful views, thanks for sharing.
Lovely Video .... wish u best luck for future rides....
Looks like an amazing place to ride!
Amazing !! I am addicted to motocamping 😅👍

So nice video but short and I enjoyed it 🤦♂️

I know it’s pricey.. I’m not quite sure the price in Uk, but it’s about the same in Norway as you describe.
What a beautiful place. I came in contact with sheep in the road on a blind corner last year 2021 and crashed my bike:-(
Oh no :(
great videos... what helmet do u use?
Nexx xwed2 ✌️
Awesome - do you have the tour data (GPX) ? 😁
A more fancy GPS is on my wish list 😄 I only used google maps on this trip, so unfortunately I don’t have the details.
This is my dream bike🥰.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. What tank guards are you using?
Hi! Currently I ride with triumph’s original tank guard, but I have ordered some white ones from Hepco Becker 😄

Vraiment cela donne envie , aurais tu des traces GPX de ton trip ? car je projette un trip dans ce coin de l'Europe pour le printemps 2022
If you can put up your GPX route, I'd appreciate it too.
