Just to add to my earlier comment. After a bit of a break I am now back to golf.Alex’s tip is just working an absolute treat. No worries about the backswing, just star back inside and a foot or so behind the ball. Everything takes care of itself and I am back to hitting firm well flighted shots with noticeable increase in carry. Great stuff Alex
Best year of driving the ball in a long time thanks to you Alex!!! Aiming right of target, closing the face to 11:57 and most importantly, following through with right hand rolling over the left. Thanks again!!!⛳️😀⛳️
I can see where you are coming from and will certainly give it a try. As a “super senior “ I won’t get into your back swing position but hopefully with enough turn to make it work. And the leaning back on the down through could be a bit tricky- but I’ll give it a good go
All your videos are informative and entertaining. For those of us who are seniors and super seniors, the flexibility of our bodies will not allow us to make many of the moves you demonstrate.
Choking up can help too, don’t you think? Anyway I will try it? I hit a Cleveland #3 Hywood off the tee as far as many in my Club hit their driver. I’m 71 years young lol! Your advice alway has something positive! Thanks
Alex, can you answer one straight question? From P6 to impact - should I press the club grip with my trail palm and hold/pull grip with my lead palm? Creating a leverage and accelerating club head? I tried this yesterday and got club head speed which I had never seen before. With like crazy height of the shot as the attack angle skyrocketed... Is this a proper move or a fault?
Love your content and this is the first time I will disagree with you on teaching a draw. I believe you have complicated the thought process for the student by emphasizing the rolling of the toe of the club past the heel. Just simply get them to visualize and focus on a slightly open face and swinging their path even more to the right so there is no thought of manipulating the club head or rolling the toe past the heel. Slightly open face and a swing path that is even further swinging out to the right so the face is “open” but is actually closed to the path.
I have trouble with a slice but this will not work for me. Bad back and knees prevent a rotation like you describe. Do you have something for a 69 year old with a bad back and knees?
I'm 61 with bad knees and shoulders. I like watching Alex, and his tips and reviews. However, I've learned the single plane swing. Look up Graves Golf, Moe Norman. There are others also. I can play 18 holes with no pain 😊
Ok Alex, so only difference I see for me is that I've been aiming face at the target to start. So you think that's what leads to the weak high pulls? Also so you aim a bit to the right, then further right with your body, and swing along yourbody line. Correct?
When I was younger I was always taught by older golfers to "toe in" my clubs which would have the same outcome as me addressing the face straight. Once I opened the face and started incorporating more wrist action I can feel that I am hitting the ball more squarely through my rotation.
I've been swinging and hitting pretty well but all of sudden, and with no changes to my swing and set up, I'm hitting everything off the heel. Help! Why has this started happening 😢
*Follow these 5 feels and see your ball fly longer & even better with a more draw ball flight!!*

Went out today, hit the ball 25 yards longer than normal. Thx for all you do to help everyone

Alex these feelings sounds great.
New understanding for me.
Thank you
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Tried this at the range after watching thing, I’m stoked I can hit the bal straight and also hit a draw.
Thank you Alex

Yeah it’s a really
good point to be honest
I started choking down quite a bit with my driver after watching Lydia Ko. I gained an average of 15 more yards and started hitting a draw.

What might be the fixes if we hit slinging hooks with this Alex?
So, at impact your putting right inglish on ball as with que stick as in a game of pool right ??

your lesson works. at 64 years I have dropped so far my scores by 10
Love this! Thank you for letting me know

I would say swing slower, speed isn’t always the necessity and this isn’t needed - hope this tip helps you

Take up plates or yoga classes, the long term health benefits will help your golf drastically.

looks good
Thank you !
Actually i have been hitting like this!! I was hooking so im keeping the face a bit open and usually hitting straight! Ball position pretty far ahead
Love to hear this!!!
How do I set up a lesson?
I've been swinging and hitting pretty well but all of sudden, and with no changes to my swing and set up, I'm hitting everything off the heel. Help! Why has this started happening 😢
Ahhh! Sure. - will cover this in another video for you
@@AlexElliottGolf thank you so much 🙏
Not easy being 68😢
At 79 I need 8 holes to get loose a bit.... Hahaha
3 and 4 minute ads.. see ya.
Sorry - they shouldn’t be placed there
@@AlexElliottGolf nothing to apologize for, he can use his precious time finding the ball instead🥳
Not relevant to mos 13 plus handicap golfers!

Yeah no. This isn’t gonna work for big muscular men lol. In that position I can’t even see the ball passed my shoulder.
