What lovely and thoughtful gifts! We all love and appreciation you, Gretchen! I have my great grandfather’s collar box - such a treasure! It always sat on my grandmother’s (his daughter) dresser. When she passed, it came to me. I call the metal item a “wash tub” too. As young children, we bathed in a washtub! Your canvas on the easel could even be separated. The painted canvas could be hung on a dollhouse wall and the easel could be disassembled and used in your projects. So many options! You could do a gardening scene with one of the dolls "tidying up" the topiaries and plant pots, someone has to be keeping them neat and tidy and those tools and watering can are perfect❤ The gifts are wonderful!
When your hands shake back and forth in excitement I know EXACTLY how you feel. In my many years making jewelry using old reworked treasures, I’ve had a good few times when someone just unexpectedly dropped a haul of the most precious treasure on me. Something that my loved ones would never know to get or *how* to get. It’s 100x better than any Christmas or lottery I could possibly receive. Stuff I wouldn’t even have picked for myself which open up new creative avenues. Or that I wanted but didn’t want to spend on or that I didn’t know how to find…. And then it drops on your lap like… idk. It’s so awesome watching this and seeing that exact experience I’ve had
I truly get so excited and it's like I'm kicking my feet and shaking my hands because it's like you said it's really great to get things that I want it but maybe I didn't want to splurge on! It is so great getting things from other people stashes cuz everybody collects different things! This is such a wonderful community!!💖💖💖💖💖😃. I'm so grateful to be a part of!!!

Ha! One of those quilt tops has fabric in it exactly like a Barbie dress I had as a kid in the '70s. It's the bright green with yellow and pink flowers. I love a good unboxing, and you have the nicest friends.
