I’m so excited, my husband and daughter moved my very large doll house from the summer kitchen into the family room. My husband thought I would enjoy seeing it when we relax. Now I will have the fun of decorating it for Christmas. When I told Jim that he laughed and said of course you will. Me with 8 tubs of stuff for our real house. Thanks for all the great ideas here today, what fun. 👏👏🥰
I remember passing a house all the time and in their front window was a dollhouse year round. Where some might put a tree. I bet they decorated it for Christmas too
OH WOW!!! THAT"s How a ended up with the ROOMING HOUSE DOLLHOUSE! I had a neighbor that grew and sold tomatoes! She had a huge dollhouse in her picture window and it was there year around. One day while i was buying tomatoes i asked her about it. she took me in and showed it to me! After talking dollhouse for a while, she said let me show you something. We walked out into her yard to a shed and there stood an old dirty dusty web filled massive dollhouse.....She asked me ......" do yo think anyone would give me $40 dollars for it? She said she had it custom made, it was 2 dollhouses side by side attached to made it bigger. I told her i would be right back! That was almost 17 years ago. I lost contact with her , she was 80 back then, she's probably not with us anymore,......but i think she would be proud of what I did with the lovely house made with love.....Thank you for sharing your story and bringing this memory back!
That is awesome! It is so awesome to have your love be on board with what you are doing! I'm also glad you found inspiration for you Christmas decorating!! Heads up i have a couple Christmas decor videos coming!!! ENJOY and Thank you for Sharing!

Those little gift boxes from the 70's brought back funny memories for me. My mum had Christmas tree decorations that looked like tiny gift boxes, but me being the nosey, weirdo kid that I was, I kept trying to unwrap them to see what was inside.
