Eric Carmen did this song originally. Celine did a cover of Eric’s and then Dimash did it and essentially took it to a whole new level .

Never did much care for this song first sung by Eric Carmen. And it’s not my favorite by Dimash.....but being on a competition show he wants to go all out with his skills. But if Dimash sings anything I will love hearing it.

This song is originally done by Eric Carmen. The original is so good too. Sometimes originals are so much better because they are so simple! When people do covers of this song sometimes it is just too much. Dimash is masterful though!!

Dereck love you, back in the 70’s Eric Carmen did this song and really became famous over night. He won second place in 2017, in China , first place was won by a lady, Chinese lady that has been an icon artist. I’m taking about Dimash here…..I personally don’t like Celine , I haven’t heard her song yet.

For me, it's just soulless technique!
Excellent singer but he can get a bit vulgar and overdo it with unnecessary tricks that are just not needed. You would be exhausted after hearing two songs. There's no need to display every register you have if it's not needed or required for the song.
The end was especially rather silly to be frank. Sticking in coloratura notes for no other reason than to show off doesn't always serve the song.
Still, can't deny he is a very excellent craftsmen.
