I agree, when I hear Dimash it is like a big love wave hitting everyone who is listening, bonding every one and each of us. He touches us like nobody else does. It is almost a spiritual experience, he has that charismatic aura around him that attracts us. sigh..I love him, it is as simple as that, I love him.
Such enormous emotional power in his performance: he starts in a quiet and thoughtful way, then raises the temperature, and then produces a passionate primal scream that goes straight to your heart. He moved you emotionally in a real way. Only a true lover of music can be moved in this way. There is such drama and tragedy in his voice... awesome.

Beautiful sincere reaction. Dimash is master of love songs, unrequited or any kind, he does have that sad longing and cry in his voice, it's very dark. He becomes the song, he is music, he understands every nuance, every note, every word no matter the language. Let your tears flow, we all understand how he gets into our soul. This flute is called a Sybyzgy, its side blown so that's how it sounds a bit like pan pipes, it's an ancient and beautiful instrument ❤

Yeah you know, It's my theory that Dimash's dears are inherently filled with an unusual amount of empathy. Of course, Dimash is unparalleled in regards to his ability to feel a song and transfer the feelings directly into the heart of the listener. But I also think that Dears are the type of people who are able to tune in to that emotion and tune in in a way that fills up your soul with everything Dimash is putting out. I think that emotional connection is why we are so attached to him and also why we are so protective of him. Of course it's more complicated than that but in general I think this is why Dears are Dears. Almost all of us have teared up on multiple Dimash songs so you are not alone.

Это то, что он получает, почему то для меня эмоционально и очень сентиментально. Потому что, когда он поет, он имеет этот крик в голосе. Это звучит почти так, как будто я прошу о помощи с помощью вокала. И когда он делает это, он видит, что вызывает эмоции, это просто настигает его. (Одновременно) это настигает и меня. Both Dimash & his father have said that before singing a song he has to feel it/internalise it and you will notice that when he performs he goes into himself to some internal place - he is totally connected with the music & song and everything flows from that. That was just stunning. Dimash didn't just copy this 80's classic, he took it to an entirely different level !! And all without losing the essence of the song ! Unreal !! It had a East meets West feel to it with the addition of traditional Kazakh instruments. And what can be said about Dimash's vocal abilities - there's no one else like him !! HI! Don't know how it happens that i hadn't seen any of your videos till now, and I want to thank you for a very moving reaction. I'm so glad to know that people continue to discover Dimash, and to share their first reactions to each performance. What an amazing world we live in, where we can get this kind of fellow-feeling when we know how powerfully WE were affected, and to be able to experience something similar when another new 'Dear' shares an initial reaction. I believe that, especially with Dimash's music, we are creating a network of caring all the way around the earth. But I think it originates with him, as if he has enough love for everyone, and we all are so glad and grateful, to be the recipients, and to love him back. There is a mystery about that voice, and I'm extremely glad to be on the earth at the same time as him, to share in that mystery.
