Labour claims to have acted early but they did not act early enough. They fluffed it. If they had done their job properly there would be no lockdown now. In 1984 Labour destroyed the New Zealand economy and we have been at a disadvantage ever since. Labour is currently working to do further harm by following its communist-globalist immigration and climate change agendas. Helen Clark worked hard to destroy the NZ way of life and Jacinda is following in her footsteps. Don’t go thinking I am National voter. Never have been. Nor Act. Nor Conservatives. Nor NZ First. Can’t see that I ever will be. Until the last election I have always voted Green. I would have been a lifetime Labour voter if not for the failure of the Lange-Douglas government. I have voted for Labour once now, last election. I voted for Jacinda. Not again. If there is an election this year there is no one for me to vote for. I gave Labour a chance and they failed. Even if there are no deaths here from COVID-19 they will still have failed. Labour now has three strikes in my lifetime. These are unforgivable. But they will win again by default.

I said a month ago that the borders need to close. Now look what has happened. However, our PM is making the correct decision. I went to the supermarket today. Only 2 people had masks. I went to the pharmacy to buy masks and was informed they have been waiting for the last 3 weeks. Where cross infection will occur, are when employees at open services, such as the super market do not wear gloves, goggles and masks. I cannot see this being implemented. Let's hope I am wrong. Teenagers also must be vigilant and stay at home. The great news about this virus is all those who deal in drugs and have active meth houses will suffer. Yet that is good. Let this virus be a time, where people can reflect about how precious life is. Let people reflect, what is important to be human. Let people reflect on their choices they make on their life journey. Let people reflect who we should aspire to. So many want to be like movie/sport/Instagram stars. If so many admire them, go ask them for the cure to the virus. Many young people in particular need a shake up when it comes to what and who they should aspire to. Let this virus show that it is the cleaners, doctors, nurses, teachers, scientists that are the one's to aspire to. Without them society would hugely suffer and billions would be affected. So this is a time to reflect on who to aspire to. And not some stupid person like the Kardashshins. Stay safe, stay reflective, and be kind to each.

@Ryan Some people will never admit success. Says more about them.
Kaore i arikarika nga mihi aroha ki koe e te rangatira, ki a aotearoa whanui hoki. Kia kaha! Kia maia! Kia ora! Love to all at home from the outback of oz.

Thanks. But why so impressive?
Best leader ever😍
@nemisis You are the only one who is not “Too smart” 1.) She is a very good leader
2.) You do not even know the different between “To” and “Too” so you should not be telling people “You aren’t to smart huh”
Lmao you two are hateful people alive on earth 😂🤪 she’s the best leader. I can say whatever I want. She’s the number one leader on earth ever😍 lol
@Nemesis you're* too*
@Nemesis You're honestly like what? 12?
No, no she's not.
The situation in Italy is so scary, don't want that happen, 10,000 people may die in New Zealand. Please, don't buy too much from PAK'nSAVE.
Where did you get that number from, the 250 thousand diabetics or the 400 thousand heart disease or many many others that are at high Risk just like the elderly, if this blows out we could see hundreds if thousands that are at high risk dead or in hospital
Australia is doomed.
@@Chaplin1219 Nah U.K. is doomed, Europe is doomed, States is doomed, Australia is just screwed in more ways than one
@@badlittlemonkey73 Maybe, New Zealand has few hospitals and too many old people. if the disease spread will be devastating, most people will die at home, no room in hospitals. fortunately, lockdown now.
@@zche083 I'm just pointing out that the elderly are not just the only high risk we have look at Italy they have so many high risk that they have to triage who lives and who dies it's that bad now that other countries are starting to come to Italy's aide oh don't for get they where in lockdown for weeks
Thanks for all you are doing Jacinda
mumma j , so what are they actually doing?
Wow, what a Leader, well done
Thank goodness our pm has made the right choice👏👏👏👏. Stay strong kiwis we can overcome this
Once again Jacinda you have shown 'true leadership .The NZ public should be grateful to have you as their leader. We are stuck here with SLOWMO who explains nothing of substance ,and even then changes his mind and overrides his compassionate State Premiers, who DO give a damn Love to all our brothers and sisters in NZ
There's a reason you're named after a toilet paper then Dawn.
Good on you Jacinta, damn good leadership 👍
Sending love from the UK to all Kiwis and those I know and love who live in this beautiful country. Stay safe, follow the advice, lives depend upon it 🙏
We have had no community transmission for 90+ days here in New Zealand we are enjoying our freedoms again
If only she shuts the boarder earlier. Only 9 days ago cruise ships were still touring all major ports and letting tourists step out freely. After those crusieships were gone, new cases has been reported every day and it starts soaring now. As If Italy at that time was not suffering enough to warn the west.
OMG the same day we have had a lock down here in Greece as well! Scary...
@Jo Black WE have had a bloody left government the last 5 years and the islands are crawling with illegal immigrants!!! Thank goodness we have gotten rid of them, however, election rigging is a HUGE problem in Greece, the left always come 1st or 2nd party even with no-one voting for them (election fraud, they present different results to the real ones)
Thank u jacinda for not waitn on a single kiwi death b4 making this decision...ive lost money, some businesses will definately fail, jobs will be lost but we all know this is what its going to take to make a difference. Love our strong leader
So great.... This is must...wish India do the same....and lock it down...
Jacinda: stay away from school
My school:no,no I don't think I will
Government: Work from home
Demolition workers: *Demolish their homes*
What a fantastic leader we have in NZ. She took the advise of the experts and acted accordingly.
What is she doing around the time of the next Australian Federal elections
@@Ryan-me9ge they may have been born in that country but they have lived in Aussie their whole life they are residents, have only family in Aussie, why would you deport them.. somewhere else. If they were visitors fair enough. That wasn't the argument though.

We were watching this in class and when Jacinda said that, our class was shocked lmao
Big ups to the P.M of New Zealand. You are doing the people proud. Too bad I can't say the same about the Australian govt. Australia cv19 cases = 1709. NZ cv19 cases = 102. And jacinda Ardern made a smart move for the people, Health before Wealth, Australian government need to step up and quick!! Stay safe everyone ✌🏽

Yeah I’ve found it embarrassing to be in NZ but to watch how the US was suffering, and I saw a lot of people were blaming Donald Trump for it
I wish I was in New Zealand , the Government care about their citizens compare to the UK who "waited for the right time" (has their keep repeating) to do anything when people are dying and when I'm scare for my family .
You would die of boredom. It's a couple of pathetic little Islands with a population of less than 5 million. Six hundred and fifty thousand of the buggers live in Australia, and what are they best at? BRAGGING ABOUT THE COUNTRY THEY LEFT. They are inherent skites and stealing is in their DNA. The Sheila who runs the Islands whinges and moans because we deport so many of them. They have a reputation for being "Tight with their money". I've seen them buy a coffee and share it. Mean as cat shit.
good on youtube for making this the most accessible video on nz youtube at the moment
Wish we had this kind of leadership in the UK.
I wanted to have a leader like her. From Japan
Smart move but we need to be vigilant on people coming into country .
I think she left it a bit late there's still thousands of people out there in other countries some wanting to get back that's not good some just live overseas.Jacinda obvious saw what Trump did it should be called chinavirus started from them and Italy got hammered for that as in a couple of months got around the World to every Country slow to react to lockdown u can't fully shutdown life weather the outcome of this bein bad or good 2020 it's goin to be and no Sports one by one and the time of year we see
Paul Treadaway Personally I think people returning to NZ should be isolated at a facility or area were they can be monitored . Many that have the virus were abroad travelling . If you are isolated at home what stops you popping down to the supermarket?
Warehouse.Supermarket,Bank i went to K Mart today.I work at a Servo which suxs a bit but we have close doors what the nite shift does at the window tough it won't be easy

@@captainpinky8307 It's a lot quicker than most nations. Be grateful you have a government that can act.
But they will win again by default.
absolutely, NZ gvt does not give a shit about people, it's all about the economy. They only do this at the last minute.

Respect from Melbourne 🙏❤
