@@dankpotato9578 I am from Jharkhand and I think Chennai is the best city in India. The only problem I had in Chennai was the trash in Marina beach. Otherwise Chennai is an amazing city.
Good but there's a need of lots improvements like roads should be potholes free, roadsides should be less dusty as much as possible with proper alignments. Shift the hawkers to hawker specific places as they jam pavements and ruin the beauty. Place dustbins everywhere etc. as city elegance is very important.

Well you have shown only outskirts of Pune. Real Pune is sadashiv peth. If you want experience Pune then you have to visit every peth of Pune. And then and only then u understand why pune is unique.
Pune ata delhi sarkha honare....new delhi ani old Delhi jasa ahe na....tasa ata new Pune ani old pune honare....old madhe peth, Deccan, Sadashiv peth,etc....ani new madhe viman Nagar, kalyani nagar, baner, Hinjewadi vagere
So called peths of today aren't the "real Pune" the way the architecture was designed back in the times. In less than 20 years those folks were able to build a city beyond anybody have ever built to this date imho. All the roads were made of stones, zero dead ends, underground road network for fast moving horses, underground "connected" water canals running miles from Katraj, underground gray water systems and under water pass rather than above ground bridge. Can you imagine building this type of structure with raw tools and today they are building cheaper above ground metro. They are again following shitty Delhi model discarding true old city architecture. Several of forts also had underground roads. Granted lot of these were built by sultans as escape routes for war. But nonetheless, it means that technology was available. Today we are still scrambling to divert excess water from western part of state to the east and building "relatively" simpler projects underground with kind of tools at hand. ALL bc of perception of lack of funds, which was probably reverse back then being the seat of empire.....
greenearth lol you need to know the history of the city before speaking shit. Just read about the peth's and old part of city. Still it is the only major contributor to city's economy.
@@nishantshah1054 And you are a historian? Start asking for references before calling out or start searching on internet for validation of certain information. I have references but now I have no interest in providing since I have no interest to "argue" merely trying to strengthen in a sense authors claims that people haven't seen Pune unless they have seen peths for stated reasons. I just wanted to express regret that what people in that era could achieve with those kinds of tools, we "resist" to go any lengths in the name of scarcity of funds. In reality THIS state technically has enough funds but lacks ability to "manage" which is entirely different issue.....
