What do you think of this large Electric Renault van? Is the range enough for you? Leave a comment below...

Another good review, Derek! Well done for keeping a balanced outlook on the van (range, charging speeds, etc.). Great to have more and more competition in the commercial sector for EVs.

Very interesting to see a commercial vehicle. 33 kWh is too small. I understand 80 km in winter may be ok for some, but I think if it had at least 120 km in winter it would be a much more useful vehicle. 43 kW (or 22 kW) AC three phase charging power should be standard. Heat pump? Heated seats and steering wheel? Those items should be standard if pack is so small. I would love to see Amazon Rivian van, Arrival, and Ford EV van reviews.

Thanks for the comment Barry and I agree with everything you say, including those vans. I'm looking forward to reviewing them all some day!

I’ve just bought an i3S for our three day weekends and I’d like to sell my Renault Trafic and buy an electric version. I’m wondering what range I’d get out this 33kwh Master as I imagine I’d get 2.5miles per kWh and with maybe 28 usable that means 75 miles a day (ish). Cheap on Autotrader though

2:03 He's taller than the van. In the very next scene the van is taller than him. Black magic!

Halogen headlights? Really? WTH? Are the tail/indicators even halogen or just old-style filament? Fingers Xed they get that sorted soon. The sliding door seems to be on the left. 🤣 3.5mm audio socket? You seemed a little rushed. Maybe do more takes/breaks? Otherwise very comprehensive and great to see a "plain van" that's electric.

Thanks for the comment EV Bike Dude. The lighting is a bit strange isn't it but as you say, hopefully changed soon. You are correct with the sliding door! Never thought that it, ideally should be driver side for better safety. Apologies for seeming rushed. Busy week and left reviewing it to the end and I'll take more time moving forward.

@@NevoEVReviewIreland👍 Driver's side for LHD versions and they didn't bother to swap for RHD countries maybe? Or is it so it's next to the kerb when parking? Must look up over in a LHD country but it seems safer to be kerbside.

Renault master has a good low rear floor..but not led and small battery/range...conbined with price 👎👎

Thanks for the comment Rob. One or two tweaks and it would be the perfect electric van alright. The smaller battery is and will suit some
