I love secret rings. The storybook games are were Jason's acting shined the most with so many memorable quotes. Not to mention I love Arabian aesthetics so just putting sonic in it was boss as fuck. But what really makes me love secret rings isnt its ost or setting, but darkspine sonic as a whole. Darkspine is the closest thing to dark sonic ever. And the way they portrayed him was beautiful

Its difficult for me to choose a favorite Sonic VA tbh Ryan had alot of great line(Ex. "I'm just a guy who loves adventure. I'm Sonic the Hedgehog!" - SA2) Meanwhile Roger has grown on me, especially since Frontiers But I'd have to say Jason is probably my favorite for a few reasons 1. I grew up watching Sonic X so nostalgia is definitely a factor 2. The 1st Sonic game I beat was Unleashed, and its still one of my favorite games in the series to this day

Kingdom Hearts, despite having some barebones combat is more enjoyable and has way more going for it than Frontiers does. Again despite my enjoyment with Frontiers Combat, I disagree with it feeling like a Hack n Slash but for Sonic

I have to admit Sonic Adventure 2 while the story is overall better and it introducing Shadow and Rouge, it’s kinda lacking compared to the first game firstly the Mech Shooting Stages get hella repetitive tbh and the treasure hunting stages are a LOT worse than in SA1.
Ryan Drummond is an amazing voice actor for sonic but Jason may be my favourite cuz when I tried to mimic Ryan sonic's voice, it was sound like Jason sonic when I tried to sound like edgy dude cooler

The longer time goes on, the less I am impressed by Frontiers. The soundtrack is great. All 4 of them;the majority is boring ambiance. Its mostly a mindless collectathon and even the traditional cyberspace levels sucked. The only parts of Frontiers that were actually amazing were indeed the boss fights, which combined only pan out to around 7 minutes of gameplay, and the 4th and final ones sucked anyway. Sonic Team is finally on the right track with frontiers, but I think people are giving this ubisoft collectathon way too much credit.
The rhea island music was very good and showed how much Sonic was struggling and 1. Tired from fighting knight and 2. Trying to overcome his cybercorruption
Sa2 is overrated. The most overrated Sonic game by far. Literally watched for decades how they destroyed Unleashed, the most polished Sonic game just because of the might stages. While Sa2 is is even worse with only the speed stages fun. Mad space is not fun. Heavy mech spamming and slow pacing is not fun. No one plays Sonic for that. Literally, the quarter of Sonic Adventure 2 is fun. Speed stages.
@@NICKRICKGames definitely is, but it has nothing on Sa1. The stages are linear on the speed stages compared to Sa1. If Heroes didn't take the repetitive route and actually did something different in the other team stages. Because chaotic missions still go through seaside hill like the others.
Seems like you have no clue how to play the mech stages, you are supposed to hold the action button, target on as many enemies you can and THEN release to kill all enemies at once, spamming the action button will only get you a bad rank
Im probably gonna get completely destroyed for some of my opinions im about to give for some of these games (i'll admit im a relatively new Sonic fan after watching Sonic movie 2 in theaters in 2022) 1. I dont think Sonic 06 is bad..... dont get me wrong its not a masterpiece by any means, but i think the hate surrounding this game is way overblown. Shadow was done very well in the game, between his friendship with Rouge and Omega, and his main adversary being Mephiles (meeeefilesssss)😂. Silver is.... something (insert "IT'S NO USE!!! TAKE THIS!!! THIS WILL END IT" ptsd Vietnam flashbacks)in all seriousness, Silver could have been a interesting character if Sega didn't abandon him after Sonic 06. His World is also a banger song. 2. Unleashed is good..... but not better then SA2 and (in my opinion )is not an S tier game. Before i get strung up, at least let me explain myself. I dont hate Unleashed, i like the game, a lot actually, the daytime stages (boost levels) are fantastic, the best in the series, the graphics (chef's kiss😘) the story is pretty good, exploring the different hubs can be fun, Endless Possibilities is an amazing song and Amy just being there is awesome. I do have some problems with the game and..... ok im pulling the bandaid off, its the Werehog. I think the Werehog is cool in concept.... but in execution, (in my opinion) it didn't hit the mark. The puzzles are so basic, not bad, but basic. The platforming is.... sometimes good.... and sometimes when i try to get Sonic to hold on to a ledge or a pole with his stretchy arms, hes just doesn't grab on.... for some reason. The Werehogs move set and upgrades do make him a little better i have to admit..... but the problem is that by the time you start getting some of the really interesting moves for the Werehog and he is starting to get better , the games almost fucking over. The Werehogs gameplay its self is ok, but if i really want to play a beat'em up, i would play one of the Batman Arkham games. Another problem that i have is the fact that you HAVE to collect sun and moon medals to progress through the game. There are 200 of each medal, You need 80 moon medals (i think) to do the last night time stage and 120 sun medals to do the last daytime stage..... ONE HUNDRED AND FUCKING TWENTY..... OUT OF 200 TOTAL SUN MEDALS, ARE YOU INSANE!!!! I think collectibles are fine, but dont tie them to progression and stop you dead in your tracks if you dont have enough. On a first playthrough, you most likely will be stoped dead in your tracks because you dont know where all the medals are nor are you really thinking about collecting them because you just wanna play through the levels. This is especially a problem in the daytime stages because what are doing in those stages?...... GOING FUCKING FAST!!!! These levels were not designed for finding collectibles, they are meant for you to go as fast as possible and find the quickest route to the goal ring. (In my opinion again) trying to analyze where all the moon medals are and intentionally going slow so you dont miss any of them is not fun when the point of Sonic stages is to go fast. This is probably a nitpick but why the fuck did Sega make the boost button the same button as the homing attack, like sometimes if i just want to homing attack an enemy, i boost instead and vice versa, if i want to boost sometimes I'll homing attack an enemy instead, and dont even get me started on the drift, the drift is meant to slow you down while your boosting but it just works better when you're not boosting so what the actual fuck is the point of the drift then🤬, i might as well go slow😡..... ok my rant is over, im sorry😊. Ultimately i like Unleashed, i would put the game in A tier, but i have too many grips with the game to put it any higher then that. (Please dont murder me🙌)wow, im surprised i had that much to say about Unleashed 3. This one wont be as long i promise.......I don't like Sonic Colors. Before I get burned alive as well after being strung up for my rant about Unleashed let me explain. The story is just blend but whatever....the jokes are juvenile..... Baldy Mcnosehair.... 3D sonic game?' its at least 70% to 80% 2D. The boost levels just suck compared to Generations and Unleashed, a lot of automation, some the worst sonic stages i have ever played. I do have some nice things to say about it as well so here we go, the game looks great, the different worlds are also nice to look at, the wisps are interesting forms of powerups, the music is good in the levels (but cmon its sonic, of course the music is awesome) and i love Reach for the Stars 🌟, i would say Sonic Colors is a c tier game, not the worst, but there are better games. (I played ultimate so maybe my experience is tainted but i feel like even if i played on the Wii, the problems that i have with the game would still be there) 4. Last one..... Sonic Forces...... is just ok. Its not great obviously.... but its..... just ok i guess. I dont really have strong hatred for the game because its just lazy. The levels are not that interesting, Tails being a coward is just cringe, the music is not that good either except for maybe One More Last Fist Bump but even then its just..... average, painfully average. Thats really all i have to say about this game, i played it once, then i never really went back to play after i beat it the first time. God, im so dead 💀😂. Ultimately I'm not trying to belittle anyone's opinion about any of these games, these are just a random internet strangers (relatively new sonic fan) humble opinions. The only parts of Frontiers that were actually amazing were indeed the boss fights, which combined only pan out to around 7 minutes of gameplay, and the 4th and final ones sucked anyway.
Sonic Team is finally on the right track with frontiers, but I think people are giving this ubisoft collectathon way too much credit.
The rhea island music was very good and showed how much Sonic was struggling and 1. Tired from fighting knight and 2. Trying to overcome his cybercorruption

Sa2 is overrated. The most overrated Sonic game by far. Literally watched for decades how they destroyed Unleashed, the most polished Sonic game just because of the might stages. While Sa2 is is even worse with only the speed stages fun. Mad space is not fun. Heavy mech spamming and slow pacing is not fun. No one plays Sonic for that. Literally, the quarter of Sonic Adventure 2 is fun. Speed stages.

@@NICKRICKGames definitely is, but it has nothing on Sa1. The stages are linear on the speed stages compared to Sa1. If Heroes didn't take the repetitive route and actually did something different in the other team stages. Because chaotic missions still go through seaside hill like the others.
Seems like you have no clue how to play the mech stages, you are supposed to hold the action button, target on as many enemies you can and THEN release to kill all enemies at once, spamming the action button will only get you a bad rank
Im probably gonna get completely destroyed for some of my opinions im about to give for some of these games (i'll admit im a relatively new Sonic fan after watching Sonic movie 2 in theaters in 2022)
1. I dont think Sonic 06 is bad..... dont get me wrong its not a masterpiece by any means, but i think the hate surrounding this game is way overblown. Shadow was done very well in the game, between his friendship with Rouge and Omega, and his main adversary being Mephiles (meeeefilesssss)😂. Silver is.... something (insert "IT'S NO USE!!! TAKE THIS!!! THIS WILL END IT" ptsd Vietnam flashbacks)in all seriousness, Silver could have been a interesting character if Sega didn't abandon him after Sonic 06. His World is also a banger song.
2. Unleashed is good..... but not better then SA2 and (in my opinion )is not an S tier game. Before i get strung up, at least let me explain myself. I dont hate Unleashed, i like the game, a lot actually, the daytime stages (boost levels) are fantastic, the best in the series, the graphics (chef's kiss😘) the story is pretty good, exploring the different hubs can be fun, Endless Possibilities is an amazing song and Amy just being there is awesome. I do have some problems with the game and..... ok im pulling the bandaid off, its the Werehog. I think the Werehog is cool in concept.... but in execution, (in my opinion) it didn't hit the mark. The puzzles are so basic, not bad, but basic. The platforming is.... sometimes good.... and sometimes when i try to get Sonic to hold on to a ledge or a pole with his stretchy arms, hes just doesn't grab on.... for some reason. The Werehogs move set and upgrades do make him a little better i have to admit..... but the problem is that by the time you start getting some of the really interesting moves for the Werehog and he is starting to get better , the games almost fucking over. The Werehogs gameplay its self is ok, but if i really want to play a beat'em up, i would play one of the Batman Arkham games. Another problem that i have is the fact that you HAVE to collect sun and moon medals to progress through the game. There are 200 of each medal, You need 80 moon medals (i think) to do the last night time stage and 120 sun medals to do the last daytime stage..... ONE HUNDRED AND FUCKING TWENTY..... OUT OF 200 TOTAL SUN MEDALS, ARE YOU INSANE!!!! I think collectibles are fine, but dont tie them to progression and stop you dead in your tracks if you dont have enough. On a first playthrough, you most likely will be stoped dead in your tracks because you dont know where all the medals are nor are you really thinking about collecting them because you just wanna play through the levels. This is especially a problem in the daytime stages because what are doing in those stages?...... GOING FUCKING FAST!!!! These levels were not designed for finding collectibles, they are meant for you to go as fast as possible and find the quickest route to the goal ring. (In my opinion again) trying to analyze where all the moon medals are and intentionally going slow so you dont miss any of them is not fun when the point of Sonic stages is to go fast. This is probably a nitpick but why the fuck did Sega make the boost button the same button as the homing attack, like sometimes if i just want to homing attack an enemy, i boost instead and vice versa, if i want to boost sometimes I'll homing attack an enemy instead, and dont even get me started on the drift, the drift is meant to slow you down while your boosting but it just works better when you're not boosting so what the actual fuck is the point of the drift then🤬, i might as well go slow😡..... ok my rant is over, im sorry😊. Ultimately i like Unleashed, i would put the game in A tier, but i have too many grips with the game to put it any higher then that. (Please dont murder me🙌)wow, im surprised i had that much to say about Unleashed
3. This one wont be as long i promise.......I don't like Sonic Colors. Before I get burned alive as well after being strung up for my rant about Unleashed let me explain. The story is just blend but whatever....the jokes are juvenile..... Baldy Mcnosehair.... 3D sonic game?' its at least 70% to 80% 2D. The boost levels just suck compared to Generations and Unleashed, a lot of automation, some the worst sonic stages i have ever played. I do have some nice things to say about it as well so here we go, the game looks great, the different worlds are also nice to look at, the wisps are interesting forms of powerups, the music is good in the levels (but cmon its sonic, of course the music is awesome) and i love Reach for the Stars 🌟, i would say Sonic Colors is a c tier game, not the worst, but there are better games. (I played ultimate so maybe my experience is tainted but i feel like even if i played on the Wii, the problems that i have with the game would still be there)
4. Last one..... Sonic Forces...... is just ok. Its not great obviously.... but its..... just ok i guess. I dont really have strong hatred for the game because its just lazy. The levels are not that interesting, Tails being a coward is just cringe, the music is not that good either except for maybe One More Last Fist Bump but even then its just..... average, painfully average. Thats really all i have to say about this game, i played it once, then i never really went back to play after i beat it the first time.

Jason Jason Griffin, the sonic I grew up with even though my first game was heroes. I grew up with Jason Griffith sonic more Ryan Drummond and Roger Craig Smith however Roger is the one I’ve seen in sonic games more and also say God doesn’t really want to pour over any of the other old games nothing From the adventure ages or the dark ages the only ones we get Port of are the modern games and the classic games. We don’t get any of the other games which makes me annoyed as I would honestly love to see some of these Order games get remastered But That all up to sonic team We don’t get a Say in the matter, which still makes me annoyed

Mephiles was a dumb villain. If he really wanted to rejoin with iblis so bad, he could've just time traveled back to when solaris first separated, instead of you know, wasting time instigating a fight between sonic and silver to try and make elise cry. Or reciting poetry and playing mind games with shadow.
