Very helpful vid! I was questioning my numbers because they were off by a couple depending on which calculator I used. Seeing that the numbers don't have to be exact and that there are options if one makes a mistake, was a relief. I do have a question. How did you come up with 9 in the rough estimate? (ERD÷2+9).

This video could have taken 20 seconds to do. All spokes on a fat bike wheel are the same. Measure a single one and there you have it.

Basically the 9 in the formula is based on doing more complete math on a bunch of different hub and rim combinations.
