    Here are the keywords, mix and match to your liking:
    Chicken = Ayam (pronounced i-yaam)
    Beef = Daging
    Egg made in a ring/ egg patty (no meat) = Benjo (you can always order this even if they don’t have it written on the menu)
    Egg wrap = Special
    Single patty = Single
    Double patty = Double
    Triple patty = Triple
    Veggies = Sayur (pronounced psy-yor)
    Cheese = Cheese/Keju
    Sauce = Sos
    Mayo = Mayo
    More = Lebih
    Less = Kurang
    Without = Tak mau
    The one you had was beef patty. Maybe you should try chicken next. My recommendation is always special and always cheese. Enjoy!

    The Ramly burger started in the 1980s when the proprieter saw a gap in the market for certified halal burgers. It was also around the same time the McDonald's franchise came to Malaysia. The Ramly burger was a cheap alternative and also a halal option for those doubtful of foreign imports.
    Malaysians took the burger and made it its own. Every vendor has their own way of constructing the burger and little secret ingredients. Some use sliced green apples as a garnish or did in cili padi. No two vendors are alike 😂 and now it's like a cult.
    You can have it with just an egg too! Just ask for burger benjo but I suggest adding on some cheese to add depth of flavour.

    *For those who don't know yet* :
    Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn Bhd) is a Malaysian frozen and fast food company.
    The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia.
    Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Ramly's decision to produce a halal-certified meat source, hygienic and quality products for all Muslim and non Muslim consumers in Malaysia. 👍🏻
    They also have a chain of fast food restaurants but not as many as McDonalds restaurants.

    Wow. I didn't think I'd have to include a must-have, iconic burger on my list of things to eat in Malaysia; but, it's on the list now. Interestingly, I had found out about this Ramly Burger just prior to watching your video. And, it's the first footage that I've seen of someone eating it and describing it. I must say...it looks like a lot of burgers I've seen. One sees a lot of burgers in the U.S. But, the inclusion of that egg wrapping is a distinguishing feature. That must be key. And, the meat, no doubt, must be top notch. That sauce too...it looks like ketchup (?) But, I'm assuming there's more to it than just straight up ketchup. Anyway...I hope to find out for myself one day.

Im not from KL but you can research on it. Usually served at Malay restaurants..try to find it at Kampung Baru a Malay village smack in the middle of the city. There are many Malay restaurants in that area. Go just before lunch hour to avoid jam.

    There are many varieties of Ramly burgers in Malaysia . Different sauces , different slaws and different methods of cooking the egg but what you ate is pretty much the standard version of it . Ramly burger is iconic and pretty much a staple food in Malaysia . I'll be surprised if there isn't one Malaysian who haven't had this burger at least once in their lifetime.

They have in my opinion the best nasi goreng in the world. It’s with Chinese sliced sausage and string beans, I bet they also have a vegetarian version. The locals gave it a few names such as burger nenas (pineapple burger) & burger dadah (drug burger) coz once u eat it you want more and more. Take a cab & head to Sri Gombak. The burger stall called Daily Burger and it just outside 7-Eleven and opposite the burger stall there is McDonald’s. There are a few types of burger u guys should try there such as oblong daging (long beef patty burger), daging special (beef burger with wrapped egg), jumbo sausage & burger kahwin (chicken & beef patty combine in a burger) and if u want just egg burger the them ‘Saya nak burger benjo’ = i want egg burger 😁. Egg (English) Telur (Malay)
