@@BlitzDeera No, I think it's tomorrow or the day after. IDK anymore lol.
@@Hynra its tomorrow :)

If you don't really care about the radiant damage this one is pretty nutty with sunbraces having unlimited grenades. Paring it with the fragment that lowers class ability when scorching enemies and an incandescent weapon you can spam phoenix dive
starfire tho
@@VampiresAreRealGuys but funny sun grenade go brrrrr
I tried it with sunbracers and claws. I like them and I think they're also good, but for the sake of being as passive as possible I think this version is best since I like using builds with minimal setups. With that said starfire is still really2 good.
this build with sunbracers would essentially be a watered down version of imagines sunbracer build
@@VampiresAreRealGuys Sunbracers can rival Starfire's damage on large or moving bosses, and gives you near infinite ability uptime, far more forgiveness with missing your dive extensions, a much faster Well cooldown with Ashes to Assets and many ways to heal your teammates.
I'd love to do this build, its a shame the Vex Mythoclast doesnt exist.
Be strong brother. 94 clears it took me but it's out there.
I got mine at run 216 and 217 lol, I know the pain brother.
I’ve only done 1 raid on Vault Of Glass in Destiny 2
It was with 3 randoms and we didn’t even complete it
Back in Destiny though we had raid party’s every week
So fuck these guys above me trying brag about 200+ raid completions
@@juggernaut4936 u missed the point of what they were saying, and no wonder u didn't complete it if u only had 3 people and randoms at that

Honestly showing the mods screen would have really benefited this video. Give everyone a brief look at the full loadout that they can use to visualise as well as the individual icons/tooltips being shown
True! But there is a dim load out in the description.
This is exactly why I love Aztecross' builds so much - just the transparency RIGHT at the beginning of the video to give you a good idea of it all.
Sure thing!
@@mave7081 what's dim?

If we had that old, radiant precision kills ignite this season. 😭 That was THE MOST fun I ever had, infinite room clearing…
Thermoclastic Bloom I think?
although not necessary, there is a fragment that causes ignitions on super kill (works with well) but daybreak is totally viable now with the buffs
@@ethiosalvatorirays of sunshine
God I wish Bungie would just give Vex the ability to apply scorch. Probably would be too strong though smh
I've been using this since Rain of Fire came out, and it only got better in Lightfall when they buffed phoenix dive. Also, Cataclysmic is probably better overall, but I like running a Rocket Launcher with Rain of Fire because of the 3 back-to-back shots with it when you have heat rises active.
B&S cata isn't that strong dps-wise anymore, so the big thing going for it now is the total damage with its reserves. But that's with the caveat of having B&S on the whole time, not missing a single crit.
@@josh___something yeah dps of a cata combo is lower than the most basic of izi combos . you should definitely be defaulting to izi swap setups now where possible. while dps is not as high as godroll field prep hotheads , the spread of total damage over multiple phases makes izi swap overall better imho.
For DPS you should be using starfire protocol. This build is for AD based encounters
Why not just use void for weaken and devour? You can already get radiant on solar so seems like a waste
@@thegodhimself5554 well is a much better super than nova bomb in harder content as day 1 has shown . the 15 weaken effect is mid af compared to being able to just slap multiple wells down to be able to let your whole team play like stupid aggressive without dying . If anyone should be on void for weaken , is not the warlocks . The other classes lose less from being on void .
You can use a primary with osmosis and jotunn if you dont have vex to make a really solid alternative build, while still getting damage buff on your primary weapon
Or a weapon with harmony and get an extra damage buff
Know this, if you're someone who plays predominantly warlock and use a build that encourages you to play the Vex Mythoclast, you're my favourite human.
My PvP build is a Vex Mythoclast build with Rain of Fire boots. It feels like D1 all over again.
@@burns0100 God I miss D1 PvP
I don’t have VM
sad
Vex is my most used weapon, and it is still my favorite. The only other exotic that could hold a candle to it is Khvostov 7G
Been running a modified version of this build for a while. Healing grenade is going to go a lot longer than the dive. The dive is just too risky in high level content and it's better to have a rift for cover AND still have a way to heal while out.
The loss of damage won't be felt due to the constant radiant buff.
Sir. This is nuts. Because of you I did my first EVER raid in d2 and I got the Vex mythoclast . needless to say 1 of my friends isn't speaking with me but I got a cool weapon and an awesome build. 10/10 would search for a new friend again.
this has been my warlock build ever since rain of fire released, it was PERFECT for me as a vex lover
This feels like release lorely. If last season was when titans got to shine, this expansion is for warlocks. Its crazy how good they are rn
Warlocks are the strongest class in pve since solar 3.0 and were much stronger then titans when it came to total dmg out put.
@@ivorgi9437 I agree. I kinda feel like (mostly bc of well) theyve always been the best pve class. I just dont like the warlock jump, and ive been a titan since d1. I just think Titan had some more spotlighted highs last expansion
I've ran this build before, and the issue is I still murder faster with a mini muilt tool with incandescent than with vex. The aoe add clear seems better then single target.
You have more time to get the kills now as restoration changed from 1s to 3s on Phoenix dive
Solar titans have a slightly similar build, if you build into heavy handed, after you've gotten 1 hammer kill, you can use normal melees to spawn orbs and firesprites at the same time. Healing grenade with Kickstart and empyrean fragment. If you also have searing on you can literally throw away your hammer at a far off target, melee 3 guys and have a second hammer back before the first explodes. I only ever shoot tractor with this build, otherwise it's hammer time.
Yeah, Firesprites giving restoration x1 is still good because of 32 HP/s
Idk if you use premiere, but try this instead of keyframing text and vex screenshot. Put the text where you want it to appear on the Vex screenshot (you can change opacity, scale, etc. if you want to). Then nest the two together and when you increase scale it will increase for both as one image. Hope this helps!
I use a free editing software called Shotcut. I don't plan on learning on to an entirely different editing software for as long as I can send the message I want to send. Although thanks for the tip!
Imagine having Mythoclast :')
I did a similar build back during Season of the Haunted, where there was an artifact mod that made solar precision kills while radiant cause the targets to ignite.
I gotta say, super-dragonfly on Mythoclast plus a phat stack of damage buffs made for some very hilariously overpowered runs of Nightfalls.
build around vex is something i will definetly try, vex normally felt like a nailer not a cool vex gun
Step 1: get Vex Mythoclast
See you in a few months when LFG is implemented.
ok looking at this build it looks great but tip if u have issues getting 100 resil u can run the resil armor mod and run 70 instead since u should have armor charges up most of the time and it will still tick down at the same rate allowing u to build more recovery for that speedy pheonix dive cd
I've been using this build with jotunn for a couple seasons now and it's insane how good it is. Praying that jotunn isn't disabled on friday
Unfortunately I heard that it has been. Wasn't sure why. I might have heard wrong though, so worth checking.
@@MrJakeasaur98 there's a bug right now that makes every special brick give it almost full reserves. It's mostly a problem for pvp but they disabled it in some pve stuff too
This comment aged poorly huh
@@volcelectomy That's unfortunate. Better ammo economy would definitely help the toaster.
love the video man, what could I use instead of vex mytho?
Bungie: Oh no! Quick! Nerf synthoceps on glaives!"
I've been using this build for 2 seasons now, it's lovely
Yeah same it’s great while using the calus mini tool
Thats just completely false considering the mod overhaul+ new fragments
@@Fearienify ah yes because vex and rain of fire and everything else in the build didn’t exist until Lightfall
Thanks so much man, I’m way too used to Hunter or Titan gameplay so clearing the legend campaign on my Warlock has been hell. Don’t have the boots but I’m sure I can make do without. Cheers!
Alternatively you can use ember of torcher instead searing. This way you can also utilize any solar weapons to keep refreshing the timer. Although I still think starfire protocol would be far better at the final boss room.
@@Hynra Unfortunately I don't run my Warlock enough to have a good starfire roll lol. I'm just gonna get the friend who carried me through that boss on his Titan to help me out, then I should be good on my own with Titan... eh, hopefully. lol. Thanks again man~
And yeah, was planning on using Torches to be able to do that, heh
I actually already thought of this build myself - it seems like a no brainer as synergy just mandates these things come together - cept for ur weapons - u use an Osmosis Kinetic and Solar Wave Gren launcher with Demo and Solar Machine gun /w Incandescent or Cata depending on content. w/e weapons can really work with this - also i didnt use that exotic armor - that was a nice touch. Even without those things - the build is Incredible
I also like running: Praydeth with Osmosis and Frenzy/Adrenaline // Incandes - Demo BRX-55 // Incan - Subsistance Avalanche - again depending on content. it works so well since ALL my damage is Solar damage.
P.S. This is also only for nightfalls or solo content as in a raid setting i run starfire - unless its an add's fight // also you can run Osmosis demo on a Yasmin for the auto reload for boss damage if needed as well
Why I've been running the Borrowed Time smg on my hunter since Solar 3.0 released. I don't get restoration x2, but with graverobber + swashbuckler, it's pretty easy to get the ball rolling and stay shooting. It's probably even better on Warlocks and Titans because of restoration x2, or bonk hammer giving cure and being able to be picked up even if you miss.
thanks for awesome build! I substituted vex with sunshot and it stills works awesome! having a lot of fun
Rain of Fire with Vex was already one of my favourite pairings, now we have a further stacking damage buff?
Holy shit this might actually get Osteo Striga out of my hands.
My experience with artifact mods being disabled. When you reset your artifiact, remove all your mods on your armor first. For some reason when you reset your artifact and your armor has discounted mods on. It voids those mod slot that even if you pick the same mods on the same slot. It bugs your weapons mods such as overload/barrier/unstoppable. Took me 500k glimmer week 1 to find what was going on by self experimenting.
FYI, Rain of Firebolts doesn't work if you have more than 2 surge mods (Weapon Damage, Font mods, ....) equipped.
Man really looked at a shrieker and said "is that you you got?". Will definitely try this warlock build
You just gave me an idea for a similar build with titan and path of burning steps. This could be juicy. Haven’t used vex in a while.
amazing, new subcriber here and love the build its a upgrade to what i was already using since rain of fire came out but i took a break before lightfall cause the game was stale. Im inspired now
It's okay for solo lost sectors, but takes way too much setup for every other activity.
I'm so surprised that not many people know about this, I've been using it since solar subclass was reworked is been OP since the season of the haunted.
Probably because most people don't have Vex. If you're not using Vex, you miss out on a huge chunk of damage (catalyst, radiance), and since you're using grenades to generate Heat Rises, you miss out on the output from there, too. It's not nearly as strong/fluid to run if you're using a standard incandescent weap to clear.
Also, wasn't nearly as good before Phoenix Dive got buffed. It's much more usable now.
Maybe current seasons Fusion can Substitute vex a little, it can roll incandescent atleast.
Still worse than starfire.
ive been using this build since the phoenix dive buff, it's amazing, did the entire legend campaign with it
I will change 1 or 2 thing , play with DAWN CHORUS to play with prometheus land , can be pretty solid too
What do you do for non-solar shields especially when match game is on? I've be hesitant to go all-in on a single-element build just because of shields
This + tommys matchbook w/ catalyst sounds really fun
Wont be gettin the extra AE off rain of fire tho
You won't be able to become radiant since it's not a fusion but you should be able to substitute the ember of searing for ember of torches instead to make it possible!
this is great. also find it funny when some warlocks or hunters say titans are broken and need nerfs when they also have builds that are absolutely broken
I've gotten over 20,000 kills from last season to now on my vex with builds utilizing this. The continuous restoration plus damage is fun.
To double down, if you run well of radiance, you can run the fragment that let's super kills get ignition and vex with ignite on every kill too!
What do you recommend for those of us who don't have cataclysmic?
Trials MG with Killing Tally works very nicely with this build as you can keep the stacks
Ik this is outdated but quick psa for anyone who doesn’t know, titans can get resto x2 as well with strongholds
Been doing this since Rain of Fire released, and let's just say that I fucking miss the damage Mythoclast put out back with Particle Deconstruction
I always always wanted to try a solar flying build, thanks for this! Now time to play for vex mythoclass
I was running something like this on my Titan; ember of empyrean carries it but with a flick of my hammer and smash of my healing 'nade, I have enough time to get a kill with Heir Apparent and just W Key everything with similar buffs. Actium War Rig is a must, alongside a solar reserves mod.
Great video, looking forward to trying this out!
I would do this build but...I need vex...WHICH I HAVEN'T GOT! Not voicing my frustration at you hynra but I haven't gotten vex yet so, but I do have rain of fire...which is nice if I want to double-dip in builds since radiant gives intrinsic anti-barrier
Would love a version of this with more accessible weapons
I use the build with Polaris Lance, verity brow, Char, empyrean, solace, ashes and a incandescent heavy GL
@@shoheigoat4329 nice one, thanks! Have all of those
Solar warlock is just so good . Of the 10 loadout slots I have a lumina/ boots of the assembler healing
Build , a sunbracers build , and a dawn chorus build , now I’ll have a 4th with this one 😂😂😁
Solar Surge in the seasonal artifact is broken and does not give armor charges if you run more then one copy of Solar Weapon Surge in your legs.
Personally I think aside from the immortality this is pretty balanced; you have to use your class ability, spend a grenade, use several fragment slots, a specific RNG exotic and it's catalyst, a specific leg armor exotic, and several mod slots to do this. It is literally the definition of "buildcrafting".
And then on top of that you have to farm up enough armor to get 100 Resilience to make the immortality worthwhile.
It also only lasts as long as you continuously kill enemies, which means for something like boss fights it won't be very good since you have to sacrifice your exotic slots. You won't be able to do the Starfire Combo, use Gjallahorn, Parasite, or Grand Overture unless you swap mid DPS. You also won't be able to use your Rift, meaning that your teammates are SOL for support.
It's entirely selfish and absolutely not something I'd bring into a fight like Warpriest or Rhulk where DPS is king, but it'd be absolutely great for something like Exhibition or Totems.
I'm also not sure Radiant and the Vex Catalyst even stack together; I remember using Firewalker Boots on Titan and at max stacks with the 40% damage, Radiant was overridden and I only got the 40%
Too bad Bungie has said they're looking into nerfing this. Well, worst case scenario is a nerf to the activation, so you have to get a mid-air fusion kill to grant radiant. Otherwise, I guess I could see them making it so it only reloads your currently equipped weapon.
Yeah, they have the Combo on the Radar and will see if it becomes a Problem for them. Looking at this, it seems the only thing holding this back is Vex Droprate.
Bro the restoration is really what makes this nuts
I don't see them nerfing this. It's worse than starfire and in harder content restoration x2 won't outheal the dmg anyway. Just because it's viable and playable doesn't mean it needs to be nerfed.
@@dat_21 they will more than likely nerf the combo because they don't like Vex and Rain giving you free radiant in pvp.
@@TheRealJohnux I wouldn't mind them nerfing it in pvp. It does feel cheap, but honestly it is the only thing that light 3.0 warlocks have in pvp. Perhaps, they can reduce the radiant timer from 10 to 4 seconds in pvp.
Strand does look promising for pvp warlocks. Melee without range limitation and threadlings seem solid. Good super too.
What is the uh Solar primary that is being run in this video? It looks cool and I have no idea what it is.
If you have the mod space and the use of those Armor Charge, you can basically achieve 100 on all stats.
I like this a lot. Everything hurts more, but every class/subclass has a way to gain ~80% resistance. Woven mail, renewals + touch, this.
Bungie very clearly doesn't want you to be as powerful but still enables you to play aggressively when it's the "right time right place"
I like the new systems in place for build crafting.
I've been running this vex, riptide, cata, rain, 100res build since the exotic boots came out forever ago since the moment I realised I could run 3 fusions for radiant, I just wish the dive cool down was shorter
Are there possibly any other weapons you can use for this builds? I'm sadly someone with shitty rng so I don't have vex so I'm wondering if there's more options
Why is it useful to have heat rises active for this build? I can't see any reason other than to get melees faster, which aren't crucial for this build because you get radiant from just weapon kills
This has been one of my favorite overall loadouts since last season, and I just now tried it out with the recovery added in. Really strong when you can keep the recovery up, but I'm also pretty sure it suffers because the buff might be getting purged when the buff disappears off the buff list...
None of th major stuff is in the artifact?
A lot of great fun builds out of the changes everything is strong and has something to go try out. Strand on mayhem is something else if you got the swag with it.
can u recommend a different exotic if i dont have rain of fire? would eye of amother world work with this build?
Use the sunbracers. It's very good for high enemy density activities. I'd argue it's better than this version but this one is just a passive play.
Zaoulis bane works well with this build too, explosive payload and incandescent is nice 👍 great build!
Whats annoying is that if you put too many armor charge mods on it literally just disables your artifact perks. So incredibly annoying.
the artifact mod rain of firebolts is currently strangely bugged, if you have more than 2 or 3 equipped blue font or surge mods equipped it will remove your 2nd firebolt granade charge
i noticed that firesprites also aren't granting armor charge with 3 or more blue mods equipped
not to be a ball buster here but I have a huge and I mean huge issues. Could you explain how you managed to get Anti-Barrier for Fusion and Linear Fusion? I'm going over everything I have as a warlock and the only Anti-Barrier I have seen is Pulse and Sidearm.
Being Radiant gives all your weapons that aren't already effective against a champion type the ability to stun barrier champions.
@@Cryptopaddy yeah my son pointed it out. I keep forgettign that each subclass has new stuff to it.
What exotic armor are you running?
how much will this build suffer if you dont have the Vex Catalyst?
Ive been running this same build on my titan with Path of Burning Steps. Its very fun.
quick question how u get restoration 2x?
can u also do it on hunter?
all i know is just jump, shoot, throw knife to get my restoration back
i'm not kidding
I think it is currently impossible for hunter to gain restoration x2 without the help of warlock with healing grenades + touch of flame. That is unless I'm missing something. Otherwise any class can get the regular restoration just fine.
So is this better then star fire protocol build?
In general what stats should I focus for each class??
What would a good substitute for vex?
Finished editing the video 5 hours before the raid that comes out in 29 hours? :)
WAIT IS IT NOT IN 5 HOURS? IDK I GET MY TIME MIXED UP
I used a similar build to breeze through most of the legend campaign. Id rather just throw infinite grenades with sunbracers sicne that frees up the wepaon slot, but using vex with rain is just as nutty.
I have something like 150 Protheon clears (featured raid weekend) and still no Vex. Sad.
For what I can tell, the artifact mods stop working if you have around 8 charged armor mods.
I have been testing It because I was not getting my 2nd nade charge until I swapped only one charged armor mod. So try that guys If you have that bug.
Probably bungie did some spagetti code
I like these boots, but I mostly use them to instaload my 100 rounds retrofit escapade. Too bad we don't have good solar lmg.
Radiant didn't stack with High-Energy fire; does Radiant not operate the same way with the Solar weapon Surge?
Radiant worked with font of might, hell just about everything in the game worked with font, solar surge is just basically font of might. So they do stack.
Any good alternatives to mythoclast? Don't really raid much myself but wanna try this on my warlock now.
Jotun?
Have to check but pretty sure I have a toaster in vault. If not pretty sure I can buy one rn.
Merciless will pair REALLY good with this setup.
As soon as they buffed Phoenix dive, I knew we’d get here. Good vid
How to stop overload and unstoppable champios with this build?
How do you get the vex mythoclast catalyst?
Been running this build since the drop of the dlc, its so nice to be god
Hey, why are you always airbone?
Thanks for the build idea!
You should try it with sunbracers and parasite
Now slap on sunbracers and gain insane area control and pretty decent boss damage if you have access to adds
Don't tell saltagreppo about this he's gonna pop a blood vessel
i'd love to try it out shame i dont have the catalyst for vex
Does this work for vex mythoclast
Could you make a hunter build on arc using assassins cowl next?
What if someone who doesn't raid want to use this build? Are they just screwed over?
You can use the ember of torches to gain radiant using your melee ability (swap with the ember of searing). This also allows you to use any solar weapons to refresh both the radiant and restoration timer. As for the exotic armor I'm not really sure which one I would recommend but a lot of people suggested sunbracers, which in that case would clear the ad clear job single handedly although it does need a little bit of "setup".
@@Hynra instructions unclear, i'm now stuck with Verity's brow
Great build! Now we just need the luck to get the Vex Mythoclast...😥
IIRC Loreley splendor (titan exotic) also gives restorationx2

How did you get 83% damage? Catalyst is 20%, radiant is 25%, and surge is 22%. What am I missing here?
Could you make this kind of build for the other 99% of us who don’t have the mythoclast?
