It all falls back on the consumer. Did anyone force them to sign a contract they knew going in they couldn't afford? No. Just because you want something doesn't mean you can afford it.
i believe a good percentage of the people financing anything have no idea how percentage works, how else could you put 23% interest on a loan of anything and have someone sign for it. in europe anything above 5% is considered very high.
i had a 95 Pathfinder. I hated the damned tire hanging off the back and n the way. Who the heck wants that? And with the thievin' biiches today. They are targets to be stolen. Look how stupid the trucks looked with the friggin tire right behind the back glass window. WTF?
$50K for a turbocharged 4 cylinder is absolutely insane.

Chevy, GM, Dodge, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan, Jeep can rot on the lot.
Car payment suck.
I will never pay that kind of money for a vehicle
Tulsa Oklahoma?
The banks are the problem. No loans, no $100k trucks.
OVER PRICED JUNK
Way too many people got FOMO'd into buying overpriced stuff
You should report about how these "overpriced vehicles" are depreciating as fast as luxury vehicles!
Stupid is as stupid does.
The dodge dealer by us still has new 2023's at full msrp. They are not getting the message
It's not necessarily that they bought too much car; they paid too much for the car that they got. That's where all the negative equity comes in.
Thanks banks 😂
I'm glad I got mine before shit went to shit. I only paid 8k in interest on my fully loaded truck
A crash and burn is on the horizon.
This issue is a spoiled rotten society.
How much down do you have to put down to even get the 22.9 percent approval??? Navy federal here is 5.4 on used car loans
Everybody qualifies at 30% interest 😂
