    It all falls back on the consumer. Did anyone force them to sign a contract they knew going in they couldn't afford? No. Just because you want something doesn't mean you can afford it.

    It's not necessarily that they bought too much car; they paid too much for the car that they got. That's where all the negative equity comes in.

    How much down do you have to put down to even get the 22.9 percent approval??? Navy federal here is 5.4 on used car loans

    i believe a good percentage of the people financing anything have no idea how percentage works, how else could you put 23% interest on a loan of anything and have someone sign for it. in europe anything above 5% is considered very high.

    i had a 95 Pathfinder. I hated the damned tire hanging off the back and n the way. Who the heck wants that? And with the thievin' biiches today. They are targets to be stolen. Look how stupid the trucks looked with the friggin tire right behind the back glass window. WTF?
