@@Aj-eb7ej It absolutely is not, dealing in Equity and dealing in FnO is difference of day and night, but you wouldn't know that because all you do is take options in Nifty and lose all your money and think people who invest for the long term (1 year or more) also lose money like you do lol. Stock market has always been risky and will always remain risky, but derivatives are in a whole different ball park, the risk difference between Equity and FnO segment is very huge.

Same old stroy line but its fact. Lets make it right
    1. Focus on one strategy or setup
    2. Work on your psychology and emotions
    3. No one wins every trade but if you're losing means lose little amount and try to capture big amount
    4. Maintain peaceful environment around your room while doing trading.
    5. Focus on learning and maintain journal of your trades everyday
    6. No fomo trading and maintain healthy relationships with friends and family because they are your support system in this time.
    7. Dont hope for big money in a short span of time, you will get ur money time by time but first of keep on pushing with 1:2 risk reward ratio.
    8. Don't be so happy and sad when ever you win or lose money its part of business right. Hope guys all traders bhai log keep rocking and keep learning and keep investing finally keep trading ❤

I have been trading in options for a while. It’s been a mix of red and green. My advice/suggestion to everyone here
    1) Learn and gain knowledge. Understand the charts, company, fundamentals everything and then trade
    2) Don’t follow any tips/suggestions. Nothing works for you when you’re not using your brain
    3) Loose to gain. Invest 500-1K understand the ups and downs, volumes, understand the triggers, adrenalin rush but don’t keep all your eggs in one basket
    4) Options is fun when treated as an option. Futures will make your future uncertain if taken seriously.
    Happy printing money

Last year I lost 21 lakhs , and this year also I lost more than 10lakhs.. now I'm in big loan and can't repay emi. The major problem is even after getting knowledge discipline is what stops you from getting consistently profitable. And you can't leave it after sometime as no other way can recover you this faster from losses. If you're not disciplined strictly stay away from options trading. I make big profits and even if I encounter small loss which is part of the game I can't control my mind and keep revenge trading and end up in losing all earned profits and capital also. I know decipline can save me but my brain works only after market is closed.

@@Zero1byZerodha I don't know a lot about it but there's a 1000s fluencers promoting this regards trade. Some candle stick pattern stuff , how the fluencers influence this with motive of history repeats itself it means they believe if in the chart today x pattern is shown before the market blown up , let's say not today not tomorrow but a week later the same pattern seems in screen it means I'll again blow up and that's how PPL sounds professionally but I believe blowing up or dumping down are the effects of supply and demand and this S&D could have various economic reason how could a single static can give an accurate data.
I'm not against of trading at all but think about it there's an economist who has 1000s of data with him just to make him a single decision on the other hand PPL only have a this single price static and this could help to predict price at some extent. But at some
You know where I feel the problem is, we have fluencer they influence PPL in 2 kind ,1st is they tell PPL study the whole branches of organisation before investing and PPL wisely becomes investor that is totally fine.
Here's a 2nd kind of fluencers comes in and they influence PPL in a way that it doesn't needed to care at all what's happening with organisation they just want to grow quickly where this fluencers fill the gap and give the know about 🕯️ or something. And guess what they make it this genuine that PPL started thinking that this knowledge is enough to enter in market as an active trader but they didn't realise there's a lot many thing happened in backend.
So,what i needed from you in 2nd part is let's have an awareness video for PPL to know what actually drives the candle stick patterns and it isn't meant a lot while trading

    • @Yusufshaikh_.11
      @Yusufshaikh_.11 5 месяцев назад

I don't know a lot about it but there's a 1000s of fluencers promoting tthis. Some candle stick stuff, it means what they say is 'history repeats itself'.Lets understand with this ex letssay the security blown up after showing x pattern. and if the same pattern has shown security after a week then security will blown up again but it isn't coz at the end of the cycle it's just an data of Supply and Demand .
You know what fluencer follow this thing and make it sound professional, and that's make threat for lot of PPL coz PPL aren't aware about what factors are driving that candle it just an piece of Statics but there's lot many economic factors plays a role in fluctuations but PPL aren't taking it into consideration specially genzi's.
Fluencers advertise trading misleadingly they make PPL beleive that that is for them but in reality there's a lot of big PPL are there in economy and they are having all possible understanding, all possible data how could a individual stand over there.
You know what I see from 2nd part of this is let PPL have awareness about that 🕯️ are not enough data you're having to predict the prices it's just a single statistical data there are many various data they're supposed to take into consideration while trading.
Genuinely what is needed burst the bubble of so called candle patterns.

Good one. I have been in the market since 2019 and was very disciplined and was making good money in FnO for long period of time. I was also doing swing trading in equity.
The cycle in FnO was like- I make good profit and I loose it double, I make again and I loose it double. But in swing trade I was able to make decent profit percentage every year, with lesser charges, time and knowledge.
So I understood that even after knowing everything in FnO you will loose money for multiple reasons, the reports are not wrong. In equity you can be right with very basic knowledge.
There is no quick money scheme in markets.Even if you get the FnO takes it back.
Investing and short term trade can make you decent money and its a skill that is valuable over the time.

I have lost around 4.5 Lakhs which my all time saving in between FY 2020 to 2022 in options... around 2 Lakhs was brokerage and charges .. I was obsessed with overtrading my flaws and my put down was over trading and lack of strategy , But the only thing i gained is i am familiar with price action trading now ...... and now helping friends to take short term trades and investment , now this is my restart in stock market and for now about 6 months we are in profit for around 3% per month .. Soon with proper mindset and strategy will enter to options again .... I have to win in this competitive exam 😇

I was sitting with a friend at my college once, he was a f&o trader and I am an equity investor. I asked him 'How profitable are you?' He said 'Not as simple, sometimes you lose sometimes you win' and he asked me what I did in the market and if I was profitable? I said 'I invest in equity and I am profitable' What he said next blew my mind "Being profitable in equity is very easy, F&O is where you need the game"

I am a software developer in hedge funds. We make trading softwares for investment banks. I have attended many trainings from investment experts from London. The way people invest in options is very different than investment bankers. I personally prefer buy short and sell short over options. You pay more brokerage and other fees, but you have more control, and profit can be a little less, but loss can be controlled.

I made 7k rupees in profit but did not get greedy even though I lost some money. I kept my investment same and avoided days where the volatility was high. Although I started coz my dad said so coz he is very much in profit but I started small and still learning the basics and theory. I'm sitting on a profit of 1k so down from 7 to 1. Still learning and understanding. Most comedic thing is that I paid around 1.5k in taxes from the profit I made😂

It’s been 3 years since Zerodha has launched kill switch. But did guys aware of it that it’s worthless, because until unless it will be automatically closed segment after a certain number of trades preset by us or after a certain amount of loss. Then only it will fullfill the purpose of kill switch. I don’t understand why Zerodha is not launching this, just because of brokerages? Then I have to switch to another broker.

Iam a College student aged 23 , First of all , I really wanted to appreciate the efforts of the whole team. Your way of presentation is fantastic. Your comedy , body guestures all are so perfect.
Okay now i want to share my person experience on trading , I started and explored the world of stock , when I was in 11th std. I was unaware of the markets , but my thought process was , just buy some random company (penny stock) , and when price increase just sell it , and take the profit. It was good where i have made 28k profit (by investing 1 lakh rs) over 6 to 8 months.
Then i started buying a middle range stocks (₹200- 300), and waited to increase money. But it crashed that i lost around 30k , i waited around 1 year thinking it would rebound. But it never happened and the money was a gold loan from my mother.
Then i promised myself not to invest money without studying.
I then downloaded varsity app and still now studying the technicals, options , fundamental etc.
I binge watch your youtube videos and try to note down the points too ..
Once again your videos are superb.❤

I once lost a big amount just because of a fat finger typo. I accidentally chose a strike price 2000 points away (deep in-the-money) instead of 200 points away and by the time I realized and squared off in under 30 seconds, the loss already happened - because deep ITM options move much faster and there's less liquidity, so you are forced to square off with whatever price is available rather than wait for the right price.

Are you the guy who lost 200 crores on 2nd June 2022?
There was a fat finger error where the seller sold Nifty 14500 call when nifty was trading at 16500...2000 pts deep ITM.... Some option buyers earned in crores by buying 14500 call which dropped from 2000 rs to 15paisa for 6mins and again shot up to 2000 rs ....

Options trading is really great if you do it for the thrill of being green. Money instills greed; Try trading without prioritising money.
A very easy way to trade options is by having discipline. For instance, you trade 30,000 Rs., place a stop loss at 1500 Rs. Which basically means you're out of the trade when you lose 5% and keep a target of 3000 Rs. No matter how tempting it is, you close the trade if either the stop loss or the target is met.
I know all of this sounds very cliche, but its practial, reasonable and skill-based to an extent. Out of every ten trades aim to make 4 or 5 green trades, that's a net profit :)
