I started reading dc comics at the beginning of the rebirth era, but I’ve recently been reading some New52 books and I have to say, while some books like Justice League, Batman, and Aquaman were great, the era overall was pretty messy. I know rebirth had flaws but at least it was trying to get dc back to what they truly represent hope and legacy, a lot of the books in New52 really tried to be dark and edgy and heavily focused on characters that worked in that position.
Theres more great than there is messy. DC and marvel i can argue were ALWAYS MESSY so thats a shite critique. Go ahead, make specific points about things sucking so i can correct and counter you with reality and facts about it. Im open to debate comicland about it too buti know they do not want to get bodied on this topic because they know they will
I read literally the entirety of New 52, and wow there were some real stinkers there. I still remember being super excited when Ra's Al Ghul entered the story in Red Hood and the Outlaws, just because everything that came before (story-wise and otherwise) sucked. Also, I heard someone say "who cares about Grifter" the other day and that basically sums up all of New 52. Who cares about Grifter.
I feel like Wildstorm should’ve just stayed as a different earth or universe, basically it should have just stayed as earth 50. Especially since I haven’t seen a single Wildstorm character since rebirth had started.
The 90s was just over saturated. Honestly I miss the special edition covers. They were fun. The four spider-man hologram covers on spider-man, amazing, web and spectacular were pretty cool. Comics were fun back then.

Fans of the run spoke loudly for Years- Demanding its own Omnibus! Which was eventually released. Also, • _Johns & Reis'_ *AQUAMAN* 1-13 & 0, Was the Real Powerful Sea King at his most - fan desired - Aryan God looking Finest! • *ALL STAR Western* • _Giffen & Didio's_ *OMAC* was Loads A Fun for like 10 Comics. %- ) • _Johns_ *JUSTICE LEAGUE* was Super E P I C !! As [was his] New 52 GREEN LANTERN rap-up. Finally coughing up the Indigo Tribe's Secrets from half A decade earlier in _Blackest Night._ • The _Forever Evil_ x-over was Incredible I thought, via the JLoA tie-in Origin ishs especially. Plus we finally got to see, just how sharp Black Manta's Legendary "Fishing Knives" really are.. • _James Robinson & Nicola Scott's_ *EARTH 2* which also had Noteworthy art (like New 52 Action Comics & Aquaman). This was A fun comic, up through like ish 18 & Annual 1. Before SJW Hack Tom "Taylor made" took over EARTH 2 & Destroyed the Title ((Forcing an unwanted & non-needed New Superman into A Continuity that was framed around Not having A Big 3), • *Batman-* _Snyder's OWLS_ storyline. Even though the book predominantly sucked Big Time after that. Outside of good art anyway (plus the Zer0 Year Interlude story and ishs 13-15 were Good). • _Syder's_ *SWAMP THING* 1-12 & 0, at some point ties in w/ New 52 ANIMAL MAN for the _Rot World_ x-over. I vehemently recommend both Vol.1's & said x-over trade.. _Morrison & Morales'_ *ACTION COMICS,* the art alone (1-19 & 0) is worth the price of admission IMO. The Run's been Recently re-collected as _Superman 'World against Superman'_ (minus both "Action Comics" & "New 52" on the cover). Plus You have the beloved _The Boy who Stole Superman's Cape_ story in this run. Sure there was straight garbage like Superman, Green Arrow, Firestorm & Static back than (2011-15). But I would put A selected 10 or 12 #New52 GN's up against any other dozen from any other DC or Marvel (Non Dark Reign) era.

New 52 Flash is decent, it was my real introduction to him besides a few random issues I had from the 90s. It’s pretty fun and probably my 2nd favorite from that time frame after Batman. I also really liked Red Hood though so what do I know 😂.

I honestly don't understand the deal with this universe. Either they do very well, or they let you down. Look at Snyder's run : he makes two masterpieces with The Court of Owls and the city of Owls. Then a brilliant one with Death ofThe Family, but then his series became very mediocre with Zero year, graveyard shift and we have to wait until endgame to get back good just to get bored again
I don't know, man. New 52 wasn't great, but it wasn't sooo bad. It was normal. I like and even love some comics from new 52. It has awesome Animal man, masterpiece Wonder Woman, dope Batman, good Flash, Arrow, Aquaman, I vampire, justice league dark wasn't bad, awesome green lantern (still think it's the best thing about green lantern), swamp thing. I wouldn't say it's bad. Yeah, it has problems, especially for Titan's, batfamily (except batman), superman's family members. But as marvel now, it has good and bad stuff, as always.
The fact Lobo or awful crap that was either of superman new 52 books. Seriously Grant Morriosn action should be just on list for him running around in jeans and t-hsirt.
