Alworth was my hero when I was a kid. I used to read everything I could about him, an watch every game we could get on tv in those days. I never had any player I admired like him. Great memories.

Me as well! He was my hero growing up. Watching him at the new San Diego Stadium in 1969. Stadium is gone, but the memories will last a lifetime!

It is still a thing of beauty to see John Hadl throw his whiplash long ball to Lance Alworth who gazelle-like would jump in the air to make a great catch, then with incredible speed Alworth would invariably beat the defender to run it in for a touchdown. Alworth was the greatest WR ever!

He was absolutely something else. Really one of the players that legitimized the AFL for sure.

    *Lance Alworth Brutally Exposed*
0:01 The Chief defender ignores the incoming pass. This is done to allow easy deep completions.
Nearly all deep passes are deflectable - which is why this technique was developed: Football is *more exciting* when deep passes are completed rather than deflected.
Chief also fails to tackle Lance. He's leaving black guys _in the dust_ again and again! Haha, *really now?*
0:29 Another black dude getting absolutely torched by Lance haha!
0:48 This one's a dead giveaway! The defender (#47) makes the mistake of looking back for the pass...which makes his non-reaction look *insane!*
See, this is why they don't look back, folks: If you don't look back _you don't have to react._ See how *fake* it looks when you DO look back but *don't react?*
Who can *possibly deny* that #47 is deliberately allowing Lance to make the catch?
0:54 Lance torches another young black man!
1:29 Aww, gawd! HAHA! This is as kooky as #47 on that previous fake play. The Raider safety is _not too convincing,_ huh?
1:40 Ummmm...... _oh-kaaay_ What the hell? Two young, dark gentlemen seem to get erased by Lance! I mean, at least the two Raiders looked back and pretended to reach for the deflection but...This...really....HAPPENED???
1:48 More suspect performance from Lance's coverage. Is #24 really _this slow_ and lumbering?? It looks like a scrub Patriot receiver when Tom tosses them a dink and they become an uncatchable superstar!
2:01 Hey #24 of the Bills! The alligator called: *He want his damn arms back!* 🐊
2:42 _Whaaat?_ I mean, at least Lance is making white boys look bad, here. But the SAFETY? That is *not good* pretending haha!
4:12 Now THIS is greatness: Lance breaks a wrap-tackle in MID-AIR! _ummmmm...._
4:24 Haha! Safety makes Lance *PAY THE PRICE* for catching over the middle!
4:32 Jet #24 would like to report a lost dog. He's been looking everywhere for *Spot!* 🐶
4:45 Great coverage by #43 on Lance except...no effort is made _to deflect the incoming pass!_ So why'd the nice man even run along with lancie? To *tackle* him, of course! (Uhhh, wait....)
6:03 The 3-Kitten pass rush! Bruh! The NFL of today is literally the AFL with less crew-cuts.
6:12 Ummmmm..... *okaaay!* HAHA! Lance is either Jim Brown or this is fake as hell.😂
6:38 DAMN! Are we in a _time loop?_ This look exactly like some Scotty Miller/Kevin King bullshit! 🤯
7:47 WHAT IS THIS POWER Lance has over safeties that he can make them hurl themselves to the ground??? 🙃
9:31 whoaaa! EASY THERE, #41! You can't be mildly _brushing your hand_ against Lance like that! Take it easy! Are you tryin' to KILL Lance, or something? This is just a game!
9:39 Now it's the Wes Welker portion of the program! Nobody is attempting to cover Lance haha! It's like there's _some kind of rule_ that you can't put a man on him!
9:52 More punishing safety play! How did Lance *even survive* these vicious impacts?
10:01 How did Lance make #26 miss?
12:26 Tackling Lance is more of a _suggestion_ than an action. Be polite about it!
12:50 Isn't it a glitch in the Matrix when you see the same fake tackle attempt twice?
12:58 Do you have to tape your *thumbs* to your hands before you can play against Lance? Haha, it's like they can't grab onto him!
    13:05 Okay...now it's the NFL but...they look _EVEN WORSE?_ It's not possible!
13:14 The Safety thing again! _How_ does Lance *do this?*
13:36 Easy #45, _EASY!_ What ya tryin' to do... KILL LANCE?

Lance Alworth commited to ole miss ,but ole miss had a rule ,if you were married ole miss would not give a football scholarship to play football at ole miss, so Lance commited to Arkansas who did not have the same rule as ole miss had
