    Oh man, thank you so much.
    It is much more convenient to assemble the door in the "little space" version!
    And if not for your video about installing the door, I would have spent more time and effort installing the second door. I already started swearing, but I remembered your video and watched it again.

      Oh yes many people slide in the wrong gap ..... especially with outer doors as the hinge is wider and can go even all the way back behind the second line. Thank you for watching.

      Glad my videos worked for so many of you. I can see many similar comments regarding Ikea should include my videos or approach me officially to do it for them for all products. So far no one has gotten in touch but maybe if more people let them know they will. There were some comments when in the Ikea store Ikea employees recommended my videos to follow hahaha. Will see you maybe one day. Thank you for watching I'm happy my videos help many people all over the world it makes my effort worthy.

    I am rebuilding pax sliding door wardrobes. With my wardrobe only one side panel comes with four small holes for the space cover which is attached after hanging the doors. Bare this in mind when assembling the outer door and the side on which you want the outer door to sit.

    Hi, thank you so much for sharing your videos with us.. I’m also wondering if the join lines on the face of the doors should line up? Ours our slightly out?

    • @PPFlatPack
      @PPFlatPack  2 года назад

      If you mean the lines between panels and slime panels in the middle they should be flush but sometimes I can see a small gap, especially on the sides if is like half a millimetre that's fine I guess that's isolation inside your slim metal panel or your slim metal panel slightly bending.

    Peter, I have a unique situation and was wondering if you can assist me. I have the large double unit and had to build it in the standing position because of the space available, it fits perfectly inside a closet with little to no wiggle room on either side of the unit to slide the inner door between the outer door and frame. The only way I see I can do it is to start by installing the inner door first and then inserting the outer door last. I am waiting on the glass panels that are on back order, can it be done or am I going to find so problems while installing the doors in reverse order as you have instructed. Thanks and your videos are very educational. Best Regards>

    • @PPFlatPack
      @PPFlatPack  2 года назад

      It should work both ways. If you feel like there is no space remove stoppers on the top so you gain few cm that should be enough to put the doors either way. If you going to do outer doors second you can do the bottom hinge on the outer door after you hang the doors over just don't put the ending panels before you hang them so you can swing them all the way left and right when you installing bottom hinge in the correct line.

    I want to ask if it matters which door (i.e. inner or outer) is on the left or on the right side. I installed this door about ten years ago, and now I would like to switch the outer one to the right and the inner one to the left side. Is it possible? The reason is that I want to put the cabinet close to the wall, and because of the baseboard, it would suit me better.

    • @PPFlatPack

      No problem can switch the doors just need to change the ending aluminum panels

    We're attempting to get out doors on, but they won't go all the way to the end. I know it has something to do with the stopper. Any idea how we can fix that?

    • @PPFlatPack

      I you have this exact model of the IKEA PAX WARDROBE the stoppers can be moved 3-4mm to the side Here you can see how it is done .ruclips.net/video/fTvlmmJts7g/видео.htmlsi=qCsw4_Qz00sTARb1 Hope that help.

    I want to buy doors only, without frames, and hang them on custom-made wood planks. Do you think it's doable?) The reason I want to do it is that I already have a gap in the room which is almost exactly the size of the wardrobe 240 cm high by 210 cm length. It will be a walk-in storage space

    Hey Peter! Thanks for these videos. I have a somewhat strange question, but do you think these rails are strong enough that they could span a 88cm gap between cabinets and hold a door sliding across? I use my Ikea Pax wardrobe to separate a room, and I have an 88cm gap as the "doorway". I was hoping to add sliding doors to "close the door" when I need to shut it. Thank you for your time!

    • @PPFlatPack
      @PPFlatPack  2 года назад

      Hi. Are you in London I think that's interesting idea it may work with some kind of support on the 88cm gap. If you based in London please let me know I would be interested to doit for you and do video about it. Just need to see before if it will work.

    Does anyone have a part number for the aluminium ending panel at 12.43..?
    I bought this wardrobe from a friend for extra storage, but this panel was missing - I tried ordering one (#150017) from Ikea but the part number was wrong and the one they sent me doesn't fit (it has a different profile that doesn't fit all the way into the groove, and seven screw holes (none of which line but with the four pre-drilled holes)).
    Thanks for the videos - these have been an absolute life saver!

      There is new Ikea pax sliding doors now. I think you may get the old parts in Ikea bargain corner usually they have all extras there.

      @@PPFlatPack Thanks, I'll look into it. I just don't want to order any more spare parts from Ikea using the wrong part number, for them to have the expense of posting it to me from Slovakia, Poland, Germany or wherever they're stored (like the last item I ordered).
