This video helped me a lot, we have assembled our HASVIK door based on this. Thank you so much! Only a slight addition: in case of sliding doors fitting I found that for me it was easier to put the sliding door's upper rolling side in the rails first, lock them, and then fit the down side metal sliding hooks to their row and screw them in place. And it is so easy to mix the inner doors upper rolling part as left and right are different depends on from where we are looking, front side or back side? (That took me 3 hours extra work :-) )
Yes, this took me also much more time to assemble :D I wasted about 20min to understand, how to lift the doors in place. Seems some luck is needed in that part :D. But once they are in place, the wardrobe works nice and is a good investment. With kids too many stuff need some organisation.
Think through which door will be inner, left to right or right to left, (example inner left going under outer mirror panel on right). Challenging, BEAUTIFUL when finished.
Hi, great video ! I was wondering if you could help me with an issue I have with the Ikea Pax Hasvik doors, or 2 of the 4 I have. The one at the far right hand side which is on the outside of the one on the left of it, suddenly today does not slide over and catch to soft close, there is a few mm gap. The door to the left of it catches and closes properly but sounds noiser than before closing and a bit rattly as it slides shut. I checked the end door with the other 2 and all looks the same and to be OK I mean, all I did was open the door as I have done hundreds of times (they were installed 4 years ago) lift a skubb box from the top shelf and put the box back again. I have hoovered below, above and at the sides incase some dust of fluff ooze was blocking something and still not closing properly. I am not super technical but just wondering if there is anything else to try to fix the door myself ? Thank you.
If you use a hammer on the screw adjustment nut, it doesn't work well and is not strong! Use the correct bolt with a flat washer and press it in by hand with a socket or wrench.
Great video and you have probably just saved my marriage 😂😂. Very useful video and a millions times better than the pathetic instructions IKEA provide.
Thanks for your feedback! This closet is worth a full assembly day. Saved us a lot of space everywhere :D Would buy a second one, if just had enough room somewhere.
do you store clothing in this wardrobe and if yes, would you say it's enough of a closet for 1-2 people? I'm deciding between the 35 and 56 cm deep wardrobes, but i'm afraid the 35cm will be too slim. Thanks!
How big was the Hasvik sliding doors package and the pax closet frames? Could I fit it into a caravan car? Is this the 150cm or 200cm wide version? Thanks!
Hey, it is 150cm wide and about 40cm deep version. Not sure, but I think on the Ikea website you can find package size also. I personally dont remember the package size. All I know is that they are heavyweight :D
@@MarekKubi Ive the same problem and have no idea ;-(( I have the doors doubled so I also making connections between them .. it seems be the same but probably it is not ??
They do provide you with the possibility to assemble any furniture you'd like from ikea. You'd have to pay of course. That's at least how it's been before.
Great video with close ups. Helped us solve why doors wouldn't hang. Well worth a watch 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks. I was also surprised, how tricky it was tbh.
Thanks you from Spain! Without this video it would not have been possible!! You should work in IKEA
This has to be the best instruction video on this system. Well done 👏
thank you. You saved me enrolling in a University engeneering course
The best video with the best explanation in detail on youtube. Congratulations. You just saved my day.
Thanks, the day is saved, but this wardrobe anyway takes pretty much at least half a day away :D

Encore un grand merci pour votre vidéo ! Ça m'a énormément aidé. Un bonjour de la France !
Yes, bonjour! Teile ka kõike paremat Eestist.
Thank you for simplifying the process. It would be quite tricky to assemble without this instructional video. 🙌
Thanks, I appreciate your feedback.
Thank you very much. This was very helpful.
Great video. So helpful. Bloody things drove me crazy

Great video, would have never been able to assemble this correctly without it. Thank you.
Thank for sharing

Hey, 35cm is good for A4 paper and documents storage, for example. 56 is good for clothes, since you cant hang clothes in 35cm.

Was a huge help, God bless
Ok so it seems i need to check my doors out they dont open fully to rach side and do rub. So i take it the wheels arent in the right place?
Did you find the problem?
@@MarekKubi Ive the same problem and have no idea ;-(( I have the doors doubled so I also making connections between them .. it seems be the same but probably it is not ??

Tks 👍
How long did it take you to install the sliding doors?
What’s the length of the cupboard
Super Beschreibung!!😊
dankeschön
Thank you 👍🏻
Don't they provide their service to get the wardrobe installed if you buy it online?
Never heard of that.
They do provide you with the possibility to assemble any furniture you'd like from ikea. You'd have to pay of course. That's at least how it's been before.
No longer IKEA employees. Prequalify worker’s experience yourself re complexity of your unit. Not quick in “hours” (our DIY=days)
Tiptop töö!
Are the doors supposed to slide both sides like from one ende to the other end?
Yes
It's super tiring to fix the wardrobe I would've js paid for the building of the wardrobe...
Sir, you installed the door in the wrong order... Inner first, outer 2nd.
I installed according to the manual.
Põhjalik!
