Investing in real estate in Russia: Sochi vs. Krasnodar

The other day we tried to invest in real estate in Russia. Here is a short story of how it was.
We started our search for real estate in the resort city of Sochi but soon realized that our savings were not enough to buy anything worthwhile in that city. Then we decided to look for more affordable housing in the city of Krasnodar, the capital of the Krasnodar Region. We talked to a realtor and saw with our own eyes the apartments at various stages of construction. We chose one of the flats on the outskirts of Krasnodar.
After doing all the business, we decided to take a walk around the city. Unfortunately, we were not very lucky with the weather, as the city of Krasnodar was hit with heavy snowfall. Nevertheless, we had time to walk around the city and visit a great park built for the FIFA World Cup.

Krasnodar is a great city. I have been there in 2019. But Sochi is d i r e c t l y at the beach! Great, too!

I would also love to buy an apartment in this area. Thank you so much for your video. Was already assuming the prices in Sochi would be quite high in comparison, but it is nice to see a confirmation and some on-site research. Krasnodar was also next on my list

I just came back home from Sochi - I stayed in an apartment in Mamaika (1min away from the river you filmed). Was also thinking about buying an apartment there - but decided to wait until the market cools off...

The prices of real estate in Sochi will never go down. I know it for sure, I live here 29 years..

Unfortunatly if you dont like living in old badly maintained soviet appartement from the 1960s 1970s
Or some modern but cheap built panelka style building
You gonna pay a lot of money for anything modern & luxurious in or near big popular russian cities
Because of the third world economic crisis moment i
of russia of 1991-2016. The real estate market was very neglicted
Also russia is too much focused on panelka style appartement. Which is the main appartement type in russia. So anything luxurious gonna cost a lot due to low supplies and high demand
