Hello! I'm currently deciding between getting a heart rate chest strap or the Coros Pace 2 as my first (strictly) running watch. Did you guys noticed if the heart rate measurements for the Coros became anymore accurate after the update/fitness test? From other reviews I've come across, it previously seemed to be slightly inconsistent overall as well as have random peaks and dips. Thanks
Hey すりぴ , Sorry for the late answer. Generally, if accurate heart rate is what you are looking for then you need a chest strap. Wrist based heart monitors are not as accurate. I would still use a GPS watch though, as they are superior to everything else n the market. And the Coros Pace 2 might be the best value for money you can get right now. Lars
Hey. We did some digging in the coros update catalog. support.coros.com/hc/en-us/articles/10438215526292-Release-Notes And it seems the Apex 42/46mm haven't gotten the 3.0 update, while the Apex Pro released on the same date, December 2018, has gotten the update. Why this has happened, I am not sure, and I don't know if they will release an update for your watch any time soon or at all. Maybe if you ask Coros, they will have an answer for you. Hope this helps. Lars
@@indoozegarmin forerunner 245 doesn’t do anything close to giving you your threshold pace/heart rate or accurate heart rate zones. Just switched to pace 3.

What watches are you both wearing? Pace and?
Emil is wearing the pace 2 and I am wearing the Vertix 2. In the middle we have the apex pro 2.
Lars
does the fitness test transfer to strava?
As far as we know, I’ll only be marked as normal run on Strava.
