I’ve never seen a Steve morris engine live in the wild. Even his personal cars don’t live. At least with a ace engine you don’t have to use custom proprietary parts.
Thats what i drive, a fuel injected 438windsor 68 mustang street drag car, or drag car on the street. Drive it anywhere, but its a street solid roller cam, not a drag cam like this engine. Spins to 7200rpm like a swiss watch.
Wet deck is out. Steve Morris billet SML/SMX engines run water through heads and block with separate passages so no water between head and block in case of blown head gasket.
In the entire history of Drag Week and Sick Week, only once has the SMX won; the rest has been with Wet Deck Engine Block and Head BBC, LS, and this year a Coyote.
@@WingspeedGarage I couldn’t afford either tbh, like most people on these pages… But iv seen a lot of actual unhappy Steve morris customers on Facebook..
@@Laura66a Yea but your drag race roller cam wont hold up to the valvetrain pounding with years of street driving without a rebuild or replace lifters and springs, guides....etc..Drag roller cams are not designed for long street driving over time. Comp cams warns you do not drive drag roller cams on the street.
Stefan does amazing work.

Are you serious. Why dont Steve Morris engines live on a dedicated street strip car. Just curious?
Veteran owned hell yeah
what about their 464?
LS guys: What do we need to do to beat that sleeved factory block Coyote? We need billet.
Welp, a billet MMR 351in³ Coyote has dyno'd 4200+ whp and clocked 5.67 @ 265mph.
No billet LS has matched that

There are a ton more Ace SBC LS racing and in the wild than steve morris LS. Ace builds better LS all day
Bad to the Bone
How about the Mercury Marine SB4 that Joe Rogan has in his Sick Fish? Roadster Shop has used this engine often.
Still 4to6 head bolts that are useless above 1200hp?

ACE would not continue building them - if they had issues i would think...
Well if you don’t blow head gaskets that’s not a problem

Phq Steve Morris
So um is um this engine um like um totally um cool, um?
Still not a STEVE MORRIS SML, it's a beauty 😍 though 🇺🇲😎
I’d have an ace over an sml any day!
Yeah maybe this engine actually works 🙄

That's a $100k pure drag race engine. You can't street drive that in traffic, drive thru's, cruising, fwy....etc
People, including myself have driven this engine on freeways, in traffic, to the beach. It's absolutely street drivable.

@@maximusvonce1381if you can afford this engine you can afford changing valve train. Shhhhhh.
