Astra J Ambient light installation 2021

- Hi all, I’ve installed ambient led lights into Astra j (2011) doors, it’s easy to do and it doesn’t take much time. You can order the original part (Part Number GM 13319462), or you can make it at home. I used DC12v 5mm Led Bulb with 20cm wire. If you have any questions please write it bellow in the comments.

bonjour une question : j;ai demonte le commutateur de leve vitre pour brancher des led que je veux faire passer sur l;interieur de la portiere comme dans les mercedes histoire de faire jolie.En me branchant sur le fil rouge et le noir ca marche mais lorsque j;eteinds la voiture ca reste allumé,pourquoi ? et si je fais la meme chose avec les fils qui allimentent deja la led rouge comme toi quel resultat aurai je ? merci à vous
Hi, what happens then you lock your car, is the light still stays on ? If it stay on you need to find different wire, which disconnect power then the car is locked.

you have four or two electric windows? do I connect the same for four electric windows?
I have only two electric windows, so I did put light in those two only. You need to check if you have the same wires in front doors, before adding lights.
@@diybythomas712 I have 4 electric windows and I don't know how to connect it. apparently the connection diagram is different for 4 electric windows
@@damian6814 Yes, at the driver's side the 4 electric windows is different. You need to connect to the cables of the mirror switch so you have to get the door card down.

Hi, check this site www.vxoc.org.uk/forum/Thread-How-to-ambient-door-lights it explains more. I connected them to the main wires, you can see it in the video (time 3:00).
