Nice video, I'm about to do the same on my EXC-F 350. Hopefully it won't need to change the valve shims. Just a nitpick, you're not holding the torque wrench correctly. You're supposed to grab it in the handle, not in the middle of the wrench as that will throw off your torque values. Cheers all the way from Portugal
Good video. The yellow script instructions are almost unreadable. I like your bag trick. I’ll use it to feel confident no hidden dirt clods between the wires full down. Why didn’t you check the spark plug?
Hey there! That's a really good question about the spark plug... I had to go look back at my notes, lol, I was sure I had done it...I think I just didn't film it and was focusing on the other maintenance items for the video? & bummer some of the text was hard to see...I think I have a way of making that more clear (with a little more video/editing experience under my belt now)...so I'll be sure to catch those for future vid's. Thanks for watching~
@@onaslowboatfastmoto2332 Thanks for the response, I appreciate it, and the effort you put into showing your process. Good filler for the cold nights up here in Colorado, and the unique perspectives from you “tubers” help me do my 16’ 350 Winter maintenance and build up my 21’ 501. Thank You. Happy New Year!
Hi there! Husqvarna lists the suggested time to check valve clearance is every 30 riding hours. My bike was checked closer to every 60 hours. They didn't need adjusting until about 140 hours (& they were hardly out of spec/tolerance). So, if you're at 180 hours, and they have never been adjusted, I would check them. I am sure there are different factors which make them go in and out of spec faster/slower, but good to check them. I did find the actual FE350 maintenance manual on-line after some deep searching. Happy to email it to you if you cannot find it online, as I don't remember the link I got it from. It's pretty helpful, more than the small booklet you get from dealer. The maintenance manual actually shows you how to 'do' the maintenance.
Nice video. Good job!
Thank you!

Lol! I had never used it…wingin’ it!
do you need to remove the sparkplug when takeing off the valve cover and ?
I don’t think you have to remove the plug, from what I remember. Just need to remove the cap to the spark plug to get the valve cover off.
