Inside Ash head is a scary place.
I was totally expecting "Inside your head" to be funnier....but you did include the late 80's-early 90's workout music at the end and that would totally be going on in your head. I know, funnier = longer run time, yadda, yadda, yadda.
I enjoy the long-form deep dives.
Personally I think it would benefit a lot of players over the course of time to put together more guides as well. Such as how to put together a brutal campaign roster with various champions filling various roles. I always look at it from the point of view of my grandkids that play RAID. Also I'm assuming that there are more 10-14 year old players out there than we might think. And they want to know how to get "unstuck" so to speak. Team comps with progression in mind. Silver budgeting and setting limits on 3 star common gear 😁.
There are so many areas of the game that are risk-reward and areas where time is of the essence. For example what is a good roadmap every day when the daily quests reset? What is the best advise on scenarios using the Multi-Battle turns?
How to build an off-affinity SPIDERLING tank? Same old reminders with new champions. More of the unsung heroes as well. Perhaps a series where you dissect each void rare while playing hard/brutal campaign? Even though it may only take a week or so to blaze through it, it may be a guidepost for months to come as a F2P player searches for "Dagger" and "Bloodhorn" thinking they really REALLY might finally get through Felwin's Gate on Hard or Brutal!
Is it me or is there a plethora of end game content on RUclips but a derth of early game strategies and secrets and explainations? For instance why not mention what a particular buff or debuff actually does sometimes when mentioning it? Just as a kind reminder and for newer players to realize how it helps? Like with Leech and Provoke mentioned in this video. Just a quick blerb about what it does and where it's beneficial and for whom and why and when etc etc. It will go a long way toward improving an already good approach that you take in providing entertaining content. 👍

Omg yes! I was going to ask for a specific video going over all the buffs/debuffs in the game, what they do and opinions on utility. It'd be super helpful because idk if I'm missing something, but I cannot find any in game explanations of them, and reading through sites is hit or miss.

Ash when you are equipping gear you should use the fitting room option, it helps save some silver when you wonna change what you already put in the champion while you can still see the stats.
This is a base level requirement for non spenders. Use the tools available

I think you will increase your viewership if you produce more videos like this one. I usually skip your “top tier ranking” vids. This video is great. I have this champ and I’ve been keeping him on the back burner and not sure where to use him. You’ve been extremely helpful and it’s great to see your insight. I also start with accessories with every new build. 👍

Using crit damage gloves is not always the best for end game. 2 of my best champs for crit damage are both wearing crit rate gloves.
Using HH optimizer helped build them.
Great video Ash, but more useful for early game players not using the optimizer.
I really like this champ building video. Good choice on picking a champ a lot of players could have summoned recently.
Ash, if you used Hell Hades Artifact Optimizer, you would've been done building this champion in less than 5 minutes! And you would've had access to many more options such as choosing the best build for specific sets, set combinations, or no sets. Try it out! You won't regret it

I use HH optimizer for building all of my champs, saves me so much time.
@@johnnymclemore8255 Same. The only time I haven't used the optimizer is for something straightforward. IE, building High Khatun as fast as possible. Just pick speed sets, and all speed substats and pick the best one.
But anything else... the optimizer is so much better. It's such a great tool I am surprised it is free.
My damage on my nukers increased from 18-30% after using HH optimizer. Some of the item combinations I get I would have never thought of. Being endgame... There's no other way
Well for people like me who play on mobile that isnt an option unfortunatly
as an f2p in early game with limited resources, specially silver... I always go to fitting room first upgrade some artifact to 8 that I want to use to the stat that I want to focus on, it also helps when you're rebuilding IF you're not satisfied with the result you get the first time...
Nice video. Personally, I don't want to see 40 minutes videos every time, but here and there, when a topic calls for it, I love seeing a creator take the time. Hearing your thought process as you decide what works and what doesn't, along with the additional considerations you're keeping in mind, is great.

Yes, long detailed videos are great as another option! Now, regarding where to begin, I always begin with the breastplate. All the other items are, quoting someone we know... _"fashion accessories"_ 😂👍🏼 I also do have Bivald on Relentless 😄 Moreover, also need to make up some room in the artifact folder... however, *almost maxed out with all of them at least at lvl 12* 😶
Something else: The .25 mult on Versulf the Grim is "Godlike" due to being a potential double hitter, iirc.

I love these types of videos! I think an accuracy banner might be the solution in the end if it has enough speed. Jealous of that relentless as well; so hard to get!
Glad more people are recognising Sigmund's potential in game, I almost didnt do his fusion when I saw him and heard the initial comments about his kit, but hes so so good. A right tank, with provoke and support, hes been great in DT, Hydra and FW.
I appreciate you doing videos like this. I've rebuild Coldheart,Ghostborn,and Saito. The damage is a lot better for being mid level account low spender
TBH whenever you gear up legendries I don't have, it's just in one ear out the other. But on a high note, you were excellent background noise while I was tearing through arena on my ftp. Doing this format on your ftp would result in a higher probability I have the champion. maybe an epic because I would guess more beginner and mid game players have at least a 5:1 ratio of epics to legendries.
yeah doing a complete guide vid w other people to min/max ur hydra in depth specifically w help of what each of them do and why each champ is in there (like what job their doing in each team) would b rly appreciated I bet and seems to be the content recently that everyone’s doing 👌🏻
Graet video, I have just started picking up 5 and 6 star gear and have yet to "build" out a champion with good stats across the board so this video gives me an idea of how to start that process. I have seen HH use something on his site to do this automatically, however I think it is better personalized so I have a much better understanding of what is doing what. just got a Martyr adn dont know anything about her so this should help me learn! This is the kind of Raid content I want! Can this be a series? 30+ min with a champion helps a mid game player like me a lot.
Last champ I built was Krisk. I was close to mercy and ended up saving shards for like 6 months waiting for a Krisk 10x. And I finally got him! Built him as a mischief tank for hydra
This is so much appreciated. Idk why but I have such a hard time getting my champs to where they need to be. Still barely getting through the first couple bosses of dt hard, and still stuck at the first hydra difficulty on a lvl 78 4mil power account
good guide, only about half way through so if you say this later all good but i would recommend using the fitting room when building. number of times i built champions before it existed only to find i didn't have enough acc, speed, crit rate, etc, and had to waste silver stripping gear back off...not fun. last champion i built was inithwe who i got in the 2x event :) helped me get through the scarab level i was stuck on and i have completed this rotation of doom tower for the first time.
Sigmund was my first leggo I ever pulled and he helped my game progression massively. I did some research and most people thought he was trash and I thought to myself if he is trash I can't wait to pull something half decent. I still use him in hard domb tower for waves and magna dragon and now hydra. I now have 33 leggo champions and he is definitely a lot better than most of these...I don't know why people think he is trash. It was before my time but I understand he was a fusion champion with demytha as one of the champions you had to fuse so most people stopped at her and didn't complete the fusion. I can tell you right now that sigmund is massively more versatile than demytha. She is just a one trick pony and if you don't use her on clan boss she will just sit around for over a week until it's faction war time..lol
Bivald is amazing! Pulled 47 mil dmg on brutal hydra this week and bivald out damaged royal guard in relentless and geomancer in reflex! granted he was in the lead with shamael on the team and hes in relentless, so lots of extra turns. But he out damaged everyone and was my main support champ. (Bivald (in lead), Ursala (regen), geo (reflex), RG (relentless), Shamael (very slow mischief tank), and lydia). bivald and ursala are all the support you need :)

Great video Ash, and there's nothing wrong with longform videos when the content is informative and entertaining. Look forward to more, perhaps some on progression through early/mid game as others have commented here.
I like these type of vids every so often. Would enjoy seeing it on a f2p account that likely has less gear choices to see the types of sacrifice/comprises you make for a given champ and where you try to make up for those things. It would also be cool to see how you doing this sort of manual build compares against something like HH's champ optimizer.
I wish u'd have shown the Hydra result and compared with the previous results to see the difference honestlyc great video. Loved it

I usually use the fitting room, so I can kinda shuffle stuff around for free without it unequipping stuff each time. Huge help.

I'd like to see you build up farmable champions and show at least one team of farmables that work well together.
I do masteries first as you usually know the direction of your skills. This also saves you some Crit% and/or Acc on your build. Nod to Damage, Inc.

The last champion I builded was Duchess I got her during the 10x and today I got Rotos on the double legendary event so I'm building him tomorrow when we get champion training.

I would like to see more Tag Team Arena content.
I think I have arrived at End-game and Tag team is one place I need to improve. Iam at Silver 3 and I should climb up to get Ramantu.
I am at Gold 5 in Classic Arena, so I have good enough speed team.
i do run out of silver pretty often, but between selling gear from inventory, and crafting/selling all me resilience gear it's _never_ longer than it takes to craft and sell. I _never_ use resilience gear so it's really just free silver.
Of course I have raf matab but not bivald lol. Hey Ash btw when are you coming out with your holsring guide? In all seriousness would love to see one on mossbeard too. Everywhere I read says he's bad but I notice CC's using him all the time

This is how I build a defence, hp, attack, support champ
Provoke Champs should be in frennzy all the time! Easy math! Gets hit more Turnmeter ( dont need to much Speed) and kann hit hart
Hey ASH, would like to request a lifetime subscription. Great video. Want to ask what the slowest spd is for end-game, I don't recall you looking for it that much in this build
depends what your trying to do. the slowest i would feel comfortable building a champ would be about 175 (aside from very specific applications) i typically run some time of turn meter control or speed boost in every team though.
@@Hurricane_KR how about crit damage? I've no idea what numbers I should be aiming for besides as much as possible :)
@@getmotivated1707 basically as much as possible on my damage dealers i shoot for 250% with my highest being 296% for arena. dont sacrifice your efficiency though, a 1:30 run at 100% is better than 1:15 run at 95%.

I do the masteries before the gearing because I always forget about the extra 5% Crit rate from the attack tree.

Also would really like to see those 3v3 teams and Hydra teams pls Ash along with stats and artifacts/masteries please, I'm struggling to move up to the next step with regards to them both. Im Gold 3 3v3 and its so tough, and I can do around 14 mill 2 x key on Hydra hard.

I start my build with gloves and chest. i wait for accessories til last, just in case I end up with enough accuracy/resist in substats, then I can do mainstat banner.
Please try using hh optimiser! Even do a colab with hellhades and build a champ together in it that will get a tonne of views
I always do the middle row last. They're way bigger and probably the most important so I like to see how high qwuality i can get the rest and the fill. I just can never trust getting enough crit for example so i do gloves last

I actually start with masteries and then boots, gloves and chest. Then banner (speed) and the try to get to the stats I need with the rest.

This video could use an update due to new and revised artifacts and new Champions. I usually choose accessories last because the second and third lot is locked until you ascend the Champion.

@ash- at what point should i stop keeping 5 star gear? maybe exception for 5*lego with decent substat rolls? bite the bullet and cut off 5's?
Ash love the content but you gotta get with the times and use the hell hades optimizer. A computer does this process so much better then a person can.

Seems like there's a super delay when you click on the stat options when upgrading your gear. I guess everyone has to deal with that lol.

I've seen alot of creators start with accessories. I've always began with armor first, is that just a less optimal way to do it? Or is it more of a preference thing?

Why does his naked Champion has 22000 Power, when at the same time my Lvl60 full Ascend Champions have maximum 8000 Power?
when building for endgame content, do you try to overmax crit rate, add the extra 15%, to cover for bad affinities?

Ash, do you choose sets over optimal stats?
I've heard many times that stats are more important.
My artifact pool is constantly capped at 1300, but HH optimizer almost never gives me complete sets, unless savage in dmg builds, because that seems to really compensate.
Could you address that issue sometime in one of your vids?
Maybe the trick is in the artifact cleansing, I might need to align substats more with the artifact set.
