I very rarely leave comments on videos (like 1 every few months), but had to here! This is THE BEST tip video for new players out there. I started playing 35 days ago and kept seeing the same tips in beginner videos over and over. This one hits ALL the highlights. I was even thinking about making my own video like this because it was really missing. Great job! Also - I'd like to mention, you should do a Beginner video tips 2.0 that speaks specifically to how to... In no particular order: 1. manage gear (% is best) (how to use filter) (reason why middle row is important) (focus on matching champ role and benefits) 2. How to manage/build teams in general for beginner teams attainable champs (arena, clan boss, each keep, and campaign) 3. Explain why its better to farm gear in campaign until you get to brutal 12-3 (more efficient, can focus particular gear item, food champs, etc.) (This is verses farming dungeons for gear... I think farming campaign is better until finish brutal campaign) 4. Might do a summary review of what beginner champs are best to invest in because they are farmable (spirit host, war maiden, etc). I mention this because no one really does a complete review on all the useful ones. Even Rocktooth is good to make 3*lvl30 for use in spirit keep (especially if you ascend to 3* - helped me beat 3 more levels in Spirit Keep that I couldn't beat). 5. What would you spend $20 on if you could spend $20 every month or so? What about $40? I do the 20 day gem pack - best return. * essentially diving deeper into explaining "WHY" on a lot of these things. I didn't understand many aspects and strategies in the game until I watched hundreds of videos - including some of Hell Hades account takeover/training videos and they helped me understand the equipment and strategies a ton. Summarizing that stuff into one beginner 2.0 video would be amazing. ... man, I started writing this comment half way through your video - and then you covered like 5 things I was going to write here. So great job!!

Do the missions, well okay, how hard can it be? Progress Mission 87/286.: reach Silver 1 in Classic Arena. Hope u liked ur last mission reward, beacuse for this 50 gem, you gonna need a few legendarys/epics 6star booked glyphed geared. Have fun :D
They have actually improved this issue a lot recently by implementing a change that players who were inactive for a certain period of time won't pop up as arena opponents anymore. The main cause for so many insanely strong teams in bronze league were advanced players who had become inactive and thus during the course of a few weeks been beaten down from gold or silver league to bronze league and stayed there forever.
I figured, after all this time and all these promotions, I would download RSL. So, I popped on over to Ash's channel, finding, to my surprise, this uploaded, as well as Ash doing daily content on this channel as well as his CR one!
Love your vids ash!! My clan leader today actually did a challenge for us to put our keys on nm to see if we could do it collectively as a clan...and we did!! Was a great challenge and moral boost for the whole clan. Everyone was so happy!!

Ok finally a guide that makes more sense for someone who hasn't like played Raid for seemingly forever because all of the rest of the guides are like see all of these ridiculous champions we seem to pull out of nowhere we won't tell you where they come from just use them they are op and build them with all of this armor we pull from somewhere similar. This helps unlock the convoluted mystery that this game quickly becomes especially after beating Campaign for the first time.
I'm currently at the end of Hard in Campaign. Even though I can solo, let's say stage 6, I'm still farming Stage 12 normal because 6 energy for 4300xp is not as good as 4 energy 3600xp.
Great call there. I should have been more clear about that in the video. 12-3 and 12-6 is really the place to be (in the previous difficulty level campaign)
Tbh, that isn't as good. Yes Hard 6 will give less XP than normal 12, but silver, the silver it gives is incredibly higher. Not just that, you can also farm Warmaiden in that place. XP isn't everything in this game.
In all honesty, with how quick progression is in the beginning, it doesn't matter, I'm already farming Hard 12 but need a second 60 for brutal... which I should have in about an hour. Making tons of silver and food farming 12-3 hard.
@@SlevinCCX if you can't farm brutal with a single level 60 don't bother farming it, at least for XP. 50% of the xp you will receive will be distributed to the lvl 60 champs if you do that.
Thanks Ash your videos helped me a ton. I played the game 1 and half years ago but was a total noob. Now started a f2p account after watching a bunch of your videos and got a Kale rank 6 and fully ascended with life steal 16 and 2 piece speed after just 8 days and can farm brutal.
i really wish i looked up some of these videos when i first started. im level 49, about 2.25 months in. and i've used so many rare and epic champions as rank up fodder in the start. im only now starting to rank up uncommons to 4 and 5 stars

Gems on Energy seems really good, but you didn't mention Gems for Masteries, especially for your early on Clan Boss characters. Given how much Energy and time it would take to get full Masteries for one Champion, even assuming you're in the position to do those later stage Minotaurs, do you think it's worth it to Gem out those Masteries? If you were to convert all that Energy spent getting the scrolls into a Full Energy refill, doesn't it come out to far less Gems to just buy out the Masteries?
It helps a lot to buy the masteries for your very first leading champion (e.g. Kael), since that will give him a huge power boost and help you to farm higher levels. Then build up your team a bit and wait until you can farm Minotaur on highest level to get the scrolls for other champs efficiently. Don't farm low Minotaur levels where you only get few gray scrolls per run.

I made the mistake of using gems to master two other champions beside Ninja, and found Ash and Hades only recently, finding out that those other two champions were wasted gems (and chickens, etcetera). One caveat to the Great Hall there's an early mission to upgrade all the attack affinities (except void) once, I would advise doing that to prevent your missions being stuck at a very early stage.
You're going to get stuck really quick anyway Get to Silver Tier and upgrade a Great Hall Bonus to Level 4 will be much bigger roadblocks to everyone starting recently than the upgrade all attack affinities 1 level is...
Ash, my 4 card team is Kael, Warmaiden, Hope (Lucky pull), and Warpriest over Spirithost in my opinion. I survive a lot of attacks with her heal (team heal when booked) paired with Hope's shield. Then of course Warpriest's Attack buff, Warmaiden's Debuff, Kael's Nuke. Doing well with your tips. Thanks. What 5th champion would you add to this team for 5 champion content?

I am currently 3 months in and like to think I’m ahead of the curve for my current progression in the game. Very well said on all topics covered! Depends on where you plan on using her. If you want to use her in Clan Boss and you can maintain the ACC needed to land the Defense Down then a Toxic set is viable. Otherwise I would recommend to stay away from Toxic if use her in the Dungeons as her primary content.
You cant over estimate the value of a job well done!! When i finally finished the arbiter mission and the Razin fusion after 7 months of playin, it was a very good feeling!!! Granted now i am kind of in a dark hole, because i really dont have a "thing" to aim for.

Hi, nice channel. 12:45 - 12-54 .. You can use the "Acid Rain" ability of Kael with a cooldown of 1. (You use it at the first and at the last round, and at every round you one-hit the enemy in just 1 turn) My question is : How can you use the "Acid Rain" with a cooldown of 1? I have it maxed out and it has a cooldown of 2...
By any chance, could you tell me where to find a guide that would help me decide which armor sets are best with which heroes? Hey man. Thanks for all the tips in all the vids you've released. Would you be able to do an in depth artifact guide to help a new player get past Dragons 12 to farm 13 and to get into Silver 1? (keeping in mind we only have access to 5 star gear at low drop rates) I've been stuck at this point for a month now and I'm about to quit out of frustration. newer player here . 1st mistake i ever done is using 270 gems to purchase x3 blue shard . i end up have 10 blue shard . summon x10 . got x2kael and Elhain . epic ursain , karem and umbral . but i manage to max out all my mains Athel , Kael and Elhain . support halfway there trying my best to get Apoc . but like ASH said . dont waste you gems . u may have epic champ . but to max out those champ is hard . easier max is when you farm in campaign but isnt last long since you have like tons of good dungeons out there needed to be conquered .

Yes that happend to me too. Thats why i just save 8 blue splinters and use them.

Sounds like you're exactly at the spot that my alt is at, but I prefer farming Nightmare A6 for its Speed gear over throwaway stuff on Hard.

Yep ! Even with 2 Lvl. 50s, 3 Lvl 40s on high elves faction ... I can't get past it :(

Ash, my 4 card team is Kael, Warmaiden, Hope (Lucky pull), and Warpriest over Spirithost in my opinion. I survive a lot of attacks with her heal (team heal when booked) paired with Hope's shield. Then of course Warpriest's Attack buff, Warmaiden's Debuff, Kael's Nuke. Doing well with your tips. Thanks. What 5th champion would you add to this team for 5 champion content?

I am currently 3 months in and like to think I’m ahead of the curve for my current progression in the game. Very well said on all topics covered! I certainly wish I had known this from the start but luckily most of these tips I picked up quickly along the way in the early game. Highly recommend new players to live by these rules!!

I love this game Ash you and hell hades have been my go to guys when trying to learn this game i'm pretty new to the game I was wondering would it be OK to put warmaiden in a toxic set because of her poison buff jw I have only been playing for about 2-3 weeks now and I love the content you put out also. And what set should I put on my fellhound i have him up to level 30 acended 2xs already
Depends on where you plan on using her. If you want to use her in Clan Boss and you can maintain the ACC needed to land the Defense Down then a Toxic set is viable. Otherwise I would recommend to stay away from Toxic if use her in the Dungeons as her primary content.

You cant over estimate the value of a job well done!! When i finally finished the arbiter mission and the Razin fusion after 7 months of playin, it was a very good feeling!!! Granted now i am kind of in a dark hole, because i really dont have a "thing" to aim for.

Flesh Tearer not much, Warmaiden good for CB and Arena, Vergis good for arena sustain and cb sustain and dungeons sustain.

(You use it at the first and at the last round, and at every round you one-hit the enemy in just 1 turn) My question is : How can you use the "Acid Rain" with a cooldown of 1? I have it maxed out and it has a cooldown of 2...

Hey man. Thanks for all the tips in all the vids you've released. Would you be able to do an in depth artifact guide to help a new player get past Dragons 12 to farm 13 and to get into Silver 1? (keeping in mind we only have access to 5 star gear at low drop rates) I've been stuck at this point for a month now and I'm about to quit out of frustration. Valeries shield is an Small AOE heal aswell. shes pretty damn powerful if you ascend her and slap some good artifacts on her
newer player here . 1st mistake i ever done is using 270 gems to purchase x3 blue shard . i end up have 10 blue shard . summon x10 . got x2kael and Elhain . epic ursain , karem and umbral . but i manage to max out all my mains Athel , Kael and Elhain . support halfway there trying my best to get Apoc . but like ASH said . dont waste you gems . u may have epic champ . but to max out those champ is hard . easier max is when you farm in campaign but isnt last long since you have like tons of good dungeons out there needed to be conquered .
