This is my first glimpse of 22. Graphics always improve but still very “framey” here and there… Can’t wait to see/play Madden 2046 when facial expressions/etc are mastered
Honestly, there's never been a Football game that I've ever loved more than Madden NFl '08. I used to play it literally all the time and loved the game soundtrack so much and loved buying those card pack things.
I would love to see 2K make some Football games, even if it’d just be a few or a trial run or something. At least then it’d give EA some competition and force their hand a bit to either make the games better and actually listen to their fans that have been throwing money for a new game every year for literally nothing new, or just hang it up and get the fuck out. They really need to step up their game. There’s a very good reason that I haven’t bought a new Football game since Madden ‘08. Literally the last Madden NFL game I’ve ever owned was Madden NFL ‘10 and that was given to me as a present. Haha.
Facts. Last madden I had was 07 for the wii. Actually good graphics etc at the time and gameplay and controls were amazing. Training camp was even better
Imagine if you will, Ford Pinto being THE ONLY car available since 2006. Every year they put a new coat of paint on it, add some minor things like new tires, new headlights, etc, and since there’s zero options, everyone who wants a car buys it. That’s Madden. 👎👎👎👎
And idk how anyone else feels about this but I absolutely hate how they just cut to the line of scrimmage when there’s no huddles or even after the huddles. They don’t show the men walking or running to the line and it makes it so corny and waste time. They took it out because there was always problems lining up and men would be off sides or the ball literally wouldn’t hike

I don't think it takes a genius to figure out that physics doesn't work like EA thinks it does. You cant just change a player's momentum to the complete opposite direction because of one hit. Also, when did they decide to make shoulder pads bigger? if you look at madden 17's gameplay the uniforms look fantastic, but come to this game and everyones pads stick way too far out, the kneepads extend well below the knee and the helmets look like they're floating on the players heads
When they have full seasons of past seasons I might be interested. I would love it if they had for example...the 1972 season so you could try and take the Dolphins to an undefeated season. To 'see' great players like Gayle Sayers, Jim Brown, Johnny Unitas, Dick Butkus, in a full season would be very cool.
Can we stop buying these until they actually innovate? Literally been the same since madden 15. There is no reason that they still have the same animations and not a free flowing game. EA is a multi billion dollar company, they could easily eliminate the set animations and have the engine animate the tackles based on a number of variables so no tackle,stiff arm, truck, spin, etc. is the same
Why can’t they make it like madden 05. The feel of the game was amazing. The running looks so weird. I will never buy a madden game until they fix this. I wish the nfl would let 2k get a shot at it or someone new
I started playing Madden again the 2023 version in December near the Super Bowl I got away from football but I always did like the Madden games but other than the 23 I never played any other ones ever since Madden 19 so this was kind of weird to me but I still had it and I was still great at the game

Madden is not a bad game but part of the reason it really makes me dislike it is they keep focusing on menu changes, adding and removing features that on a specific version might be really good, they have the QB focus on a version then its removed, they have the "truck" or hit stick and then its gone and they keep doing this, why not just leave all these options in the game and build on them instead of removing while focusing on the actual gameplay mechanics and physics??

People have been biased against Madden 22. This game isn’t terrible. Don’t let people persuade you into not buying it. I played three games. I maybe had one very small glitch. The game has that college football atmosphere when the screen shakes and momentum’s a factor. I want people to continue to bash EA to keep heat on them to keep doing better. Madden 22 is a good game!

I hope this means they will be expanding the definition of what is/is not challengeable fixing the suffering that has had for years with that, and hopefully that will tie together automatic booth review as well for subjective matters I doubt EA is going to act like this, challenging a play is a serious decision to make during play and in play where at least one timeout has to be had

the last time I was able to use video review was madden 10, even though they never took the button out of the game you just can't click it smh
