I've been up for 20 hrs and I have to be back up in 2 hrs, but I've been having SUCH insomnia restlessness lately. Somehow I had a feeling that flutes would help to soothe me, but this video was even better than I expected. The music and reason are perfectly gentle and balanced so there's no startling dynamic changes, and the background scenery is beautiful and relaxing as well, so soft and still and comforting. As soon as I turned this on I felt the bodily tension and frantic thoughts melt away into perfect peace. My eyes are already closing. Thank you so much for this good medicine 🙏💜

so is this something you can do on a daily basis in Korea? walking carelessly around the city at 2 am? i'm not complaining, it's beautiful. I'm just impressed by how safe it apparently is. In other parts of the world going out at night means exposing yourself to dangerous situations, it seems like it's not like that in South Korea
That's because South Korea hasn't embraced western self-destructive ideas of diversity and multiculturalism. A homogeneous society typically has a small or almost non-existent violent crime rate so it is safe to be out on the streets alone at night.

Unfortunately i think Korea is progressively adopting more and more western habits and many areas... they seem to embrace their culture a lot too, but as younger generations come i see it as inevitable that some of the korean traditions will be replaced by western ones... we'll see what happens
Mainly just Africa and the US, Europe is super safe and so is Asia and Oceania (source I've lived in Houston, UK and New Zealand and police and others only bothered me late night in America)

I remember my childhood in Colombia, I lived in a central area of the city surrounded by shops, markets, workshops, warehouses, small restaurants🌆 my mother had a beauty salon/barbershop and behind the premises was the apartment, I used to be with my friends we were 4 children who played soccer in the car parks at night because there were no parks in that commercial area, we also used to run through the alleys, in the telephone booths, bother the drunks, we had built a small club with old zinc sheets🏚️ cardboard, planks, wooden pallets, plastic, I remember the lonely rainy nights where we watched horror movies while the cats walked on the zinc, since we were little we used to walk the streets like in the video.

I live by San Francisco and I did these early AM walks when we visited Korea and I felt totally safe out there. Even though I'm a male who has some size, I would never walk down alleys and empty streets in SF like I did in Seoul and Busan. Near a university, I saw single females walking down these type of areas and they didn't seem overly cautious. I'm sure they're aware of their surroundings but it amazed me that they weren't more on edge as they were. I did these walks almost every night and loved it
korea is extremely safe. and i never felt danger being drunk af there. only when we almost went to war with n. korea in nov. 2010 when i was a crew chief in osan ab. amazing time.

Anyone can freely go to a convenience store at dawn or return home after visiting a 24-hour restaurant.
