but i dnt understand why she has to put red color in crease,when its black eyeshadow.

CurlsNpolish thats what i dont understand why have to put transition color or color in the crease,i am not good in eyeshadows,so i dont get why beauty bloggers use it and its not really true that it wont look right if it was only black,i did black eyeshadow once and i only used black and it turned out really good,i got many compliments for that.
+Lamisa Choudhury a transition color is used for this and other looks to create the harsh line If just black it would create a harsh obvious line its like a gradient the black is meant to blend into the color to show transition in a gradient fashion does that make sense?

This the most informative and helpful black eyeshadow tutorial on RUclips (IMO) I love the voiceover and the fact that you didn't drag out the beginning with boring obvious crap, or pause with 1000s of disgusting tongue smacks. And the fast forwarding was on point. To top it all off was the beautiful results and the flawless finish. Girl, you got yourself a "like" on this video and a new subscriber AND turned on my settings for my phone to notify me at every new video you post.

Try puting a piece of tape on the corner of your eye going towards the outer corner of your eyebrow, it helps the shadow stay neat you can blend it out a little once your done, i do it all the time and it works perfectly:)
I wanna do this so badly but when I do it, I end up looking like a panda! :(

Just because someone doesn't like makeup to be heavy or caked on doesn't mean they just aren't into makeup, they just like it light. It's just a different opinion. To anyone who has problems with their foundation looking caked on or clown-like (except for the lovely woman in the video, her foundation is flawless); It's all about skin care, lemme tell you. (OP actually has beautiful skin) Your face needs to be clean and moisturized. Whenever you put on makeup, afterwards you must clean your face thoroughly, clogged pores, break-out acne, and a dry face will absolutely give you an actual caked-on look with your foundation. It's also in the amount of the product you're using and how much pressure you apply to your face with the brush you're using. No matter how much expensive makeup and how many high quality brushes you buy, it won't come out as desired if you don't learn control over your strokes. Same goes with eyeshadow or contour, you must learn control over the amount of pressure and your strokes. Keep practicing Ladies and Gentlemen, you'll definitely get the hang of it!

maybe you did something wrong? didn't blend enough, put too much of one color, etc

I like u used to look like a panda when doing this I found the easiest way to do this is if u follow these steps it will come out super glamorous and easy. take a matte soft brown for example salted Carmel from chocolate palletes works great and put that in crease, next take your next transition shade be it burgundy or whatever for example cherry cordial from chocolate bar in the crease this time using a denser blending type brush so its more in the actual crease and also so it goes on darker if that made sense like u have your lighter transition then your more focused stronger darker transition hope that came out clear lol then take a black jumbo eye liner pencil one that can be used for a base they are basically liner eye shadow pencils and make sure to put it evenly all over the lid, next take a Mac 242 which is a dense flat synthetic brush which is what I use tho I'm sure a flat shader brush works too and with patting motions on the lid slowly build the black shadow on the lid and then slowly make windshield wiper motions as u get closer up into the crease to get the transition blending gradient effect this step is most important for a decent black smokey basically pat on the lid till your satisfied with how dark and opaque it is and then as the color gets into the crease blend with windshield wiper motions this technique prevents fall out and will give u control.
and of course tightline the top and bottom of your eyes and falsies really help also

how do you tight line without crying?
use and end of a brush to press on your crease to lift your eyelid away from your eyeball, than look down on angle in a mirror. thats how i do it anyways (: hope it helps
Would this be good for a prom?
You definitely could wear this to prom, but my personal opinion is that for prom you should go more dramatic with your makeup, but this might be a little too dramatic! But hey I'm a makeup lover, and I wear some pretty crazy makeup sometimes, so honestly do whatever makes you feel beautiful! :)
