The bookcase mug is everything!!
It would be so fun to take pictures of all the customer creations and have a slideshow play on a monitor in the shop to give other people ideas.

This tall cup you weren’t very pleased with once having decals did work! Reminds me of browsing the museum gift store after the visit.

The bookshelf mug is so cosy ❤ We have a place nearby, where you can paint on pottery and I'm a frequent guest there. I think, I will paint something with a bookshelf soon😅

Oh... gosh! Top 3 Lava lamp, bookshelf, and the Milo even though I don't know the product. I appreciate the design.
I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the fairy decals. They were so pale colored. I used to use decals a lot in ceramics. On cannister sets, lamps and vases and the occasional tea set. And the decals were always vivid. But we usually applied them on white/clear or what we called nutmeg which was clear with a fine brown spot. So maybe the background color was too much for the fairies, according to my memories.
Pigs in space, which was a Muppet Show skit, needs an honorable mention on my list!

the green pig needed white and gold spots! the best mug is the milo one. the colours and flowers are just perfect. there is so much potential in these mugs. more than ever I am upset you are on the other side of the world from me!

Looooooved this! Def would like to see platters or something! My fave is lava lamp and then Milo. I adore bold designs though so the black outline appeals to me!
I HATED the tall one that just seems too tall but I am now in love with it because of the bookshelves with the ladder!! It's so funny how when somethings plain it can give the ick but as soon as its decorated, it feels so much more lovable. I adore these so much, I even loved the badger goblet. It wasn't giving hufflepuff to me but it was giving one of those mugs you find that's
so busy that its cute and endearing. My fave overall HAS to be the milo can though! I'm not Australian so I don't have the nostalgia but its sooo clean and crisp! Love this!
I honestly think the “leather” mug would truly be the most beautiful by painting it with rich reddish browns, darker in the crevices. Like real leather. It is one of my favourite moulds and i think it’s almost offensive to the design to not embrace the rich leather look. I think it could turn out so beautiful. ❤

Decal option is awesome and such an alternative way of making art! It could even be a disabilty assecible option to those you have a hard time holding a brush
The lava lamp came out great! I'd still love to see the goblet painted as one big flower! And I'd also love to see the leatherwork one done with the glaze you suggested, something that would highlight the design more.

I loved the Tulips and the Checkered flower mug the most. The third runner up was the little houses !! Adorable!
Mug 4 with the couple dancing is my absolutely favorite and I don’t even know why. Loved the fairy teacup so much, and the bookshelf one is so pretty. Also, I’m a Hufflepuff and felt so happy that my dear house was mentioned, even though I didn’t really love the design of that goblet (at first I thought it would be something HP themed but thought that maybe it would be Butterbeer related

I love the hearts, bookshelves, and lava lamp❤️💜💙🧡🤎. But, as the houses, stripes, and tulips reminded me of my favourite ceramicist, Clarice Cliff, I’d say, they were my favourites! 🧡🩵💚
I love the idea of the "Hufflepuff" mug being so subtle. So it can both be and not be HP inspired. I am a HP fan but don't like how the merchandise screams HP and there is just very few subtle options, at least where I live and what I can find. I would love that mug, just having a simple yellow and black mug with that badges scene and some leaves around would be perfect.

I was born and raised in Wyoming, USA, on a Black Angus cattle ranch…..so the Square Dancing one is my favorite, and the bull a second, of course! You’re the best……love your personality! And talent GALORE!!!
I love them all. No desire to tell you how to do your art. As an artist myself, I never do well when someone tells me what they want me to do. I tend to freeze up. It has to come naturally. Almost magical. I so enjoy watching you. I live in the northwest corner of Washington state, US, and we have mountains, saltwater, etc..Inspirations come from our own environments a lot of the time. Thank you, Shelby , for sharing all your work. You are a joy.
The goblet is my favorite, I have always liked that shape. Very medieval

I must admit my favourite is the plain flowers/tulips. That's my favourite mug shape in general, and I love your florals!
I like the simplicity of the heart mug, the wackiness of the alien pig, and whimsy of the lava lamp, but the lava lamp wins for me
Because they are all so cute it's hard to pick an absolute favorite but the ones I liked the best are the bookshelf, the houses, the tea cup and the ombre (the colors really spoke to me).

I think mug 4 came out so so so beautiful!!! The effect almost gives the image motion, and it looks like someone’s memory or what is happening

6:56 this mug is lovely I would love to see it with a deep green color and maybe some splashes of light blue or orange randomly. I feel like it would just pop! It kinda gives a botanical vibe with the pattern.
The barn dancing mug is awesome! Also love the fairy mug and the tulip one for some sweet Nana vibes.
My fav is the bookshelf mug. Love the colors. Having lived thru the 60s and 70s i don't always like those colors. My childhood home had an avocado green refrigerator, harvest gold vinyl sofa, a scratchy orange and gold plaid lazy boy chair and orange sparkle flower wallpaper kitchen. Most of the time these things make me cringe. Somehow you make these colors new and fresh. Great job.

You could put the soup mug together with a plate/bowl and make it into a plant holder. Put some holes on the side towards the bottom to allow for watering. You did a wonderful job!!!

For the decals / workshop, giving people already painted pieces is a great idea but you could also offer workshop in 2 parts : first one is paint your cup and second one : come back later to add your decals.
When I visited Japan, I joined a pottery school and because I stayed like 20 days in Japan, I managed to book 2 appointments at the pottery school. One for creating the piece in clay (we did bowls on the pottery wheel). I came back later when the pieces were baked and ready to be painted. And finally, I dropped the day before my departure to pick the final piece. It's one of my best memories and I love to use the bowl I made myself, in Japan, with traditional Japanese glaze.
I never think artistically in those colors, and they work so well. Thank you for helping me see more of the rainbow!! And yes please! Plates would be cool❤
Love the book shelf mug!
I love the shape of the goblet so much and actually think it could be very versatile because of being separated. You absolutely could use the base as a lid if you wanted or smash the base and cast the mug... ;). My favorite was the tea mug because it was very whimsical and my second favorite was the bookcase but I did feel the ladder could have been attended to more to ensure it had the same amount of care that it is obvious the rest of the mug had.
My favourite is the little houses mug, kind of like Clarice Cliff vibes!

The other way you can add splatter is by using a fan brush.

There are so many I love, I just can't pick one. The book shelf, tulips, flower tiles, fairy teacup, houses (always) & the Milo tin. I love your idea of a tin can series. The barn dance could have had a gingham dress on the girl or as a background, to make it more appealing. Mostly, I love how we see a shape coming alive under your care XXX

My favorite is actually the teacup. The beautiful vintage style green of the leaves and the lovely delicate decals. My second fave is the bulk. I love the pink background and the multi-colored hair.👍🏾❤️

The library mug would make a wonderful vase! I personally dislike the handle but the shape of the mug is something that lends itself to other potential knick knacks.
