- The METAL GEAR SOLID collab in Fortnite in now here! Players can now work toward unlocking the three different Solid Snake skins. This event includes the ability to use the cardboard box from METAL GEAR SOLID 2, Stealth Camo and a bunch of MGS4 themed cosmetics.

Same, they kept it thematic with Snake being from MGS2 and 4. If they were to just ride the hype and memes it would probably reach a broader audience but not the core MGS audience so I appreciate it.
Although, I thought because of the Guns of the Patriots love we'd get a Cyborg Raiden skin from MGS4 with the cool jacket. Kinda surprised we didn't.

The Big shell would be a good one as well. Have both shell one and shell two. Included with all their traps. This would give every player a challenge even the ones that already know about all of metal gear solid 2's traps.

Something I’ve noticed is that they’ve kept Snake’s ass when it’s his “Old Snake” skin, but not his regular one.
Really interesting that they made all of snake's equipment MGS4 based while the base edit style for snake is mgs2 based
Im so glad MGS2 Raiden is getting some love, everyone did him so dirty back in the day but no one remembers he was super badass before being turned into a cyborg ninja, he defeated Solidus Snake which is basically Big Boss and almost destroyed the entire MG Ray army from the Arsenal Gear by himself.
I always wished to have Raiden in Smash Ultimate as an echo fighter for Snake, but who would tought that he would return in Fortnite of all places after all this years.
From what I know the reason why people hated Raiden before the argument ended was because they don't like his head model which Kojima mocks them on MGS3 when you call Zero while wearing the Raiden mask and he has a very angry dialogue if you found Raikov and let him gets away which Kojima making the haters looks like a total d*ckheads
There was a quiz on people around the world who would want to see in smash (I don't think it was by Nintendo). Jp, North America, and Europe. Raiden was in the JP list for most mentioned, at number 10 or 9 (lowest place, but still widely mentioned) Who knows really for the next smash game on the next gen nintendo console. I honestly want raiden to be in smash as well. I know he's a spirit in smash ultimate. However, he is kinda hard to obtain. He would most likely be in his Raising design. But who knows, *maybe* he'll have a skin thats his human version along side his mgs4 version.

They failed to put in his suit from MGS4 or MGRR. Yet they put Solid Snake's MGS4 suit in to fortnite. I got to say I enjoy playing both raiden and solid snake in mgs series. But for those raiden only fanboys out there you know who you are. This is a slap in the face for you from fortnite and Konami.

They should’ve made the second skin either MGS1 Snake or Iroquois Plisken Snake (mask on or off). The NV goggles are so dumb, you don’t even need them in the tanker chapter and he doesn’t even use them in the plant chapter. Missed opportunity. Old Snake looks amazing though

I'm so mad at Fortnite right now. Raiden was in the shop for only 3 days. I heard he was purchaseable on Saturday and wanted to buy him, but I couldn't update my game until Monday, because my internet is slooow and I wasn't home and now he's already been removed from the store 😢

It’s super unlikely, but I hope that an MGS4 Raiden style would be added in the future. It wouldn’t be the first time a new style was added, but I wish a selectable style. It probably wouldn’t be MGR, because they did MGS4 Snake, so Raiden would be awesome

You don't know how these collabs work, do you? Epic always makes a deal with the original creators of an IP first before they put them into Fortnite. It's mutually beneficial- Metal Gear gets advertised to a new audience who may not have known about it before, and Fortnite gets new players from curious MGS fans.

He grows it in mgs2, where his costume is originating. On certain difficulties you can find and give him a Shaver and in later cutscenes he’ll be beardless

I'm not really a huge MG fan, I have no experience with it, but I love Fortnite, and I like the idea of MG, the idea of this super soldier type person having to sneak around places, taking down enemies, while wearing a badass suit, just sounds awesome!
