- We were at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure for the re-opening of the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man ride after months of work upgrading the entire attraction. All the 3-D footage has been reanimated in stunning high-definition and the soundtrack has been updated for the reboot of this fantastic ride.

One thing I loved so much about this ride, was the cartoonishly evil villains. It was like straight out of a comic book it was so cool to see. Their evil laughs, their bad puns that are such guilty pleasures, and their fiendishly diabolical schemes, made for an even better experience.
It's also worth mentioning that all the villains have their comic outfits.

Scream, Toxin, Carnage, and Hybrid ain't jack shit compared to Venom, he beats all of them 1 on 1
I'm more sorry than you probably are:
Carnage is stronger than Venom. Venom had to team up with Spider-Man to take Carnage down. Carnage is unrestrained, follows no rules and thrives on chaos. He is 10x more deadly.
My goodness, this is beyond jaw-dropping. I've ridden the original at least 50 times, rewatched the POV for it and then watched the upgraded version. Holy poo, what a difference even just watching it here on your computer. You can just tell that the ride isn't just back to its former glory, it is way better.
Can't wait even more to go back later this year!!!
I'm so glad that we got to ride the enhanced version when we were over in Florida last week. I'd place Spider-Man as my overall favourite ride, closely followed by Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Reign Of Kong and Soarin' All Over The World. God I miss Florida and can't WAIT to return.
Definitely agree with you on those (although I never got chance to go on Forbidden Journey). Went in June (my first visit, boyfriend's fourth), Reign of Kong wasn't officially open, but we luckily got to go on a soft opening, and I absolutely LOVED Soarin' All Over The World. Some of my other favourites were Revenge of the Mummy, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Escape From Gringotts and Expedition Everest (sorry for the long list, I enjoyed so many of them). Can't wait to save up and go back over there :D
***** We waited about 2 hours, but most of that was because there was a technical fault for a while and we had to wait it out in the queue. Our biggest mistake was thinking "I know, let's go to Epcot on the day the Frozen ride opens and try and go on it!" 5-6 hours the wait got up to. Needless to say, we left that queue, I don't even like Frozen that much...
kong is a good ride but its way too long.

Everything about this ride is perfect! The screens are so beautiful to the eye, the vehicles sync up so well with the screens, the booms and practicals are perfect, the voice acting is fun, and so is the music! 10/10 :)

Rode this for the first time a few days ago while on vacation in Orlando. Pretty sure I had a smile on my face the entire ride, what an absolute blast it is.
When I went to Universal for my birthday last year, we broke down on this ride at 2:40 right after the fire. It kept going off and we sat there for about 15 minutes. They played the rest of the ride silent and without effects, but I really enjoyed the working bits lol.

meanmelons when i went on the ride me and my mom and everyone else got stuck on the falling part, the screen blacked out and i heard thunder so that means casual Florida storms, and my mom hold my hand saying "dont worry spiderman will save us" just to keep myself claim they offered us another ride and so we rode it again. But that was the only time we got stuck at universal studios
This was without a doubt one of the best rides I've ever been on in my entire life. This is definitely the future of amusement park rides

One of the best rides in Universal... or ORLANDO! This ride was super fun and chilling, I would definitely recommend this ride. I rode it to days ago whilst on vacation.

Yes. Out of all the rides I've been on, this has to be the most creative one. Not only is it realistic visually, but you could feel it as well. You could feel the fire, smoke, and water. As well as you could feel yourself falling and moving around :)

I always liked how the visuals (as well as the queue) of this ride approaches a more “cartoony”, almost comic book-like style. It gives the ride a lot more charm :)

And you can see Stan Lee’s multiple times throughout the ride. He’s the truck driver (the truck driver wasn’t working in this video, though; strange), he’s under the “Clone Saga” theater sign, and near the end of the ride next to (or when the car turns around, I forgot) Spider-Man when he says “Guess that wraps things up”. Also, RIP Stan Lee :)

I went to islands of adventure yesterday for a 5th grade field trip and I just want to say it was AWESOME and when the green goblin threw the pumpkin in to the wall u could feel the heat!!!!!!

You can’t really see it in the video but Stan lee had many background cameos for this ride and I thought that was just awesome to pay such an awesome tribute to the man himself.

BatFrenzy900 a lot of the designs (not all of them, though, because Hydro-Man first appeared in the early 80s, and Scream first appeared in the early 90s) come from the original 60s and 70s (like Classic Electro, and Classic Hobgoblin, and of course Classic Spidey), yet slightly redesigned, included with a modern touch.

I just saw the spider-man movies for the first time a month ago and rode this back in march....I need to go back and ride it again so I'll appreciate it and love it more. I've literally become a HUGE spider-man fan. I would cry if I got to ride this again :')

Brandon Martinez the agreement between Disney (owners of Marvel) and Universal is that Disney can't use the Marvel name in WDW, Tokyo Disneyland or Disneyland California theme parks. They also can't use any characters that's in Marvel Island or any characters largely linked to them. Ie, no Venom or Winter Soldier. However, they can Use the Guardians of the Galaxy. And the full Marvel roster anywhere else such as Hong Kong or Paris. The deal is indefinite, the only way Disney can get them back is: 1) Universal Drop the marvel theme and re-theme the entire island completely 2) Universal Stop Paying their Loyalties or 3) Disney can prove that Universal are using the Marvel characters incorrectly or in a way Disney don't want. Due to the Hulk getting a complete Overhaul just a relatively short time ago, Disney won't be getting the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men or Spider-Man in the US or Japan parks anytime soon.
(The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man Exists in Japan's New York area by itself. It's actually an exact clone of this version dubbed in Japanese. But The Universal Marvel deal stops Tokyo Disneyland using the marvel name or any of the above characters in The Japanese theme parks.)
