I am so happy for you and Bart that you will be moving into your new place soon. I remember your apartment in Germany and how you had your own hobby room. Those Germany vlogs were fun and Bart was the mystery man that we didn't know and see. It is so nice that Bart is comfortable in front of the camera so that we really know him now. I love the first apartment! I feel the same way about having a small bag in NYC. It’s so easy to carry a cross body and not having to worry about someone taking it.
Congrats on your new apartment. Can’t wait to see it when you get settled. One note of caution: I lived in an apartment in DC that had floor to ceiling windows and it was like an oven on sunny days. You’ll need to get some heavy curtains / curtain liners.

So excited for you and Bart! Congratulations on choosing a new place - can't wait to see a moving vlog and new apartment vlog! Oh - also, I used to have that dresser you were looking at at IKEA. I loved it, actually - very nicely made and I actually really liked it. I had it in blue. I only got rid of it because I moved across the country and didn't want to bring it with. I've found that lately IKEA seems to have different levels of furniture - some of the same ol' cheap stuff perfect for a dorm room or first apartment, but they also have nicer stuff.

Congratulations. While 4 was my favorite, I had a feeling you guys would pick number 1 because of your reaction and comments you made when you were being shown it! (As a realtor, I pay attention to people's reaction). 4 may have had the most space, but it's clear the amenities, view (and the NYC experience), along with value are most important to you guys. Moving is really a struggle in new york 😭I move basically once a year. My goal this year is to get an apt with washer/dryer in unit and hard wood floor😂love your videos! You guys have such great personalities

If you wanted to try a local option for a new dresser, you could try looking on a yardsale Facebook page for NYC. I did that in Chicago and loved it because I was able to find really nice furniture for super inexpensive. :)

That ikea dresser is amazing. I’ve had mine for 8 years and it’s such a great piece and can fit so much!! Takes some time to put together but so worth it.
We're on our second iMac desktop and we love it. Laptops are great for on the go, but we use it all the time!

I have that dresser from IKEA! I have had it since this past Christmas. It’s great! But, putting it together SUCKS! It took my buddy and I about 5 hours to put it together with following the directions and watching a video. It was not fun at all but once it is put together, it’s really nice!
I just adore how authentic you are in your videos, I feel like I know you personally :) I have the white dresser you looked at in ikea - it was tough to put together but it stores so much stuff! I also love that it's taller than average for a dresser, it's worth it!
Washer/dryer is a HUGE plus. Think of the money you’ll save in running a PUBLIC washer/dryer! Can we talk about the PUBLIC aspect, that in and of itself is a HUGE ✅➕✅➕✅➕! Hooray on your new home!!!

i have the 27” and i love it. we live downtown chicago in a condo and i love it as a desktop, but also as second television in our “bonus” room we made into an office.

My recommendation is to get a 2017 MacBook Pro and a usb-c display. You can hook up the computer via usb to the display. Add a wireless keyboard and mouse, and you get the same experience of an iMac. It’s a more versatile setup than a fixed iMac.
