This chateau is absolutely the best creation I've seen in a long, long while. There are a lot of adequate and many good created homes, but this is simply beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us, Feb!
the mannequins really are just becoming some folklore myth, livening inanimate objects that will roam when no one is looking and defeated by putting clothing on them.
Wow. Opulent is certainly the right word. So peaceful, beautiful. I love the tactful way they incorporated the vampire den. Just because your a vampire doesn't mean you don't like things clean and tidy.
A beautiful home. You used the word "lush" early on and that's a great word for it. I am a big fan of creators who have an eye for details that are tiny but add so much to the build. This house has them galore.I was saying to myself that I wished they had put in a door for the master bedroom and then discovered, thanks to you, that they had delivered in a way that suits me fine. I'm a big fan of the secret panels and hidden little secrets. Homes like this are really relaxing and are not just eye candy. They are brain candy as well. Another one I would put on my epic homes list.
Once again, another winner! Right up my alley. Large, spacious and not cluttered. The outside architecture reminds me of old Bavarian/German houses of the 13th-14th centuries; stone walls with wattle and daub uppers. Even in York but the bottoms are wood instead of stone. I really can't say anything else because I agree with you 100%. Oh, Inigo told me that the Chaise Lounge in the office should be turned to face you so he can come in and lounge and talk with you as you do your paperwork.
The outdoor area is stunning. And that alchemy area! I adore the ingredient shelves. Lovely. The interior details are amazing. So many small things that really lift the whole design up in elegance. Love the roses all over, too.
This one is giving Wynters Breezeway a run for it's money as my favorite. Seriously would love to build something like this or Wynters on a piece of acreage here. The basement on both homes are awesome & have room for a armory with reload/workbench, a gaming area for D&D plus a massive storage/utility area & that grotto could be a shared gaming office for me & my girls to stream together but have our own cubicle/spaces. That stairway to the outdoor could be a small powder room so none of us have to go upstairs for bio breaks. The huge chef's kitchen for me, a big room for our future kids with a little alcove for their desks to do homework. A couple of sizeable guest rooms & that upstairs office could be a master suite with walk-in closet between the bedroom & bathroom. Then have big workshop/garage to work on cars or build stuff. A greenhouse for year around vegetable/herb garden. A nice big stable for a horse sanctuary. Plenty of room for the dogs & horses to run around.
Thanks so much for covering my mod feb! Im really glad you liked the grotto and garden as ive been a sybscriber of yours and really love garden and alchemy lab spaces. Theres also a teapot where you can brew coffee and tea too. The shields are meant to stick to the map and act as teleporters. But sad to see they fell off and the others weren't activatqble so ill look into that.
Hi Feb!! Sorry I've missed the last couple of houses. Somehow, I put restricted on RUclips videos and couldn't comment. Anyhoo, this home is beautiful and has so many new and unique items. The layout and decorations are not too big and not too small. They are just right! I would most definitely live there and even store items on shelves. That's not something I'm willing to say on 99+% of the homes you showcase. I will definitely add this to my collection! Thanks, hun for keeping your eyes open for these gems!!! Lots of love, Darkstar! Oh!! Wish me "Happy 66th B-day" on the 27th. Still going strong on Skyrim and Fallout NV. 😊😂
This place is insanely beautiful…☺️.. I love the signpost by the desk, pointing out the way to Falkreath 😄…at least your mannequins don’t weave back and forth…the ones in my Honeyside weave like they are alive 😬😱…sometimes they even put their hands on their hips 😂….all of the bed comforters are gorgeous!
I am with you Feb. I love houses like these. They always manage to have just enough decoration but not so much the space seems too cluttered. This one does indeed remind me of laboratorium which hasn't left my LO since you showcased it. However, the follower bed made my jaw drop. That's beautiful. I also like that it's one big bed for followers instead of the army bunk style room into which modders tend to cram ten cheap vanilla beds. Also, you really can't go wrong with Lake Ilinalta for the gorgeous views. This home is a 10/10. P.S. Have you tried mods like Ultimate Mannequin Fix? That may help your mannequins stay in place.
There is literally nothing about the chateau that I don't love. From the outside design to the interior layout. The stairs up and down. The rooms up and down. The grotto in the basement. The master suite. So good. So, thinking of something to 'complain' about - there is no toilet in the bedroom floor. (But the fact that the master has their own bathroom is amazing.) So there being three secret rooms in the master feels overkill. I could see turning the vampire area into an actual walk-in closet. And maybe turn the other two secret into some sort of semi-office thing, not sure, but they don't need to be secret rooms. Maybe make the first 'suspicious cabinet' into an actual cabinet and see about having the room the nearby secret door leads to be both rooms at one. Anyway. That aside this is perfect. I love everything about it, including most especially its location. Such a gorgeous amazing location. What a great mod!
Holy cow, what a fabulous home!! You just couldn’t ask for more, well except creepy mannequins for me, lol!! The outside elegance and beauty certainly matches the inner home, just WOW! Now, will someone please port it to Xbox……just an awesome showcase Feb!! Have a wonderful evening!!
Holy hell! This home’s interior/exterior so well done! Im always astounded by how creative modders are! I tend to stick to more lore friendly abodes but my goodness this one is such a lovely one that Im tempted to add it to my next playthru. 😄 Thanks as always for the showcase! Cheers! ❤
I'm downloading this right now! I love everything with it! With the greenhouse, I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Everyone knows you just love your soils and your clickies! 😁 Serena can use that vampire coffin
I have a suggestion: how about some videos about the best homes in each hold of Skyrim? Best small cabin in each hold, best medium home, best large home, best castle, best collector home - could be fun! I thought of this because I’d like to find one home in each hold, but I don’t think anyone has done a series of videos set up that way. Love your reviews of all the fabulous things the modding community comes up with.
I didn't know why I loved this place so much while you were showing it, until you said you appreciated the lack of taxidermy... and I said, "that's it No dead animals staring at me with reproach!" LOL. Cannot stand taxidermy unless it's obviously fake, like a fake jackalope made out of a stuffed animal. :p
I’ve watched every Skyrim house video of yours for 2 years now, don’t think Ive ever commented before. But this house is beyond wonderful! I’m blown away
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! Once I start playing Skyrim again, I’m DEFINITELY going to download this mod, even if I have to give up some other mods! Just absolutely stunning!!
@@FebrithDarkstar unfortunately I won’t be able to. Looked it up on Bethesda’s website (I’m a console player, i.e. Xbox) and it wasn’t there! Guess it’s a PC exclusive!! DAMN IT!!!
@@FebrithDarkstar well it’ll still be fun to watch your videos. That’s how I came across Leaf Rest a couple years ago and it’s my “primary” player home I love it so much. Plus the fact that it doesn’t cost anything helps me level up a bit faster at the beginning by storing a lot more items much faster as well
I once reached the “Theoretical Horse Limit” in Skyrim ; I bought and accidentally killed so many that the game would not let me purchase another one even though all the stables had one saddled and ready to go!!!
looks fantastic! I would give it a try if get back to skyrim. still not now. I like the hobbit style door at the basement. only that wall behind is hard to ignore while using it. i agree stables would give a great addition. just bring some pillows for the bench to get it comfortable. secret door to the loo lol.
Hi Feb, I watch every Skyrim mod video since 2 or maybe even 3 year. Love your stuff. But in quite all of those videos you have the moving mannequin problem. There is a mod on the nexus called 'mannequins don't move'. It should fix this issue. I use it and it works perfectly. 👍🏻
Thanks for that, I've deliberately not used a mod for the mannequins because I quite like their weirdness lol - and thanks for being here and watching - I really appreciate it!:)

@@FebrithDarkstar It unfortunately overlaps with Our Cabin and thus makes it incompatible. It cuts into the pool deck of the cabin, and the stored boat our front blocks the Chateau's front door.
Very nice indeed. I would love to have that one in the game but problem is the location - it's to much on lake ilinalta already and when having halfmoon chalet close to the mill and lakeview and valkyrie outpost in riverwood then it's more then enough in the same strech, but i would love to have it near the kartriver like closer to kartwasten or in the rift on the other side of the lake or in eastmarch or places where there is no modded home. 🥰

Wow, what a place, it actually looks even better at night, it's straight out of a fairy tale.

A High Rock Breton kind of house.
And that wall mosaic in the basement grotto, the sword piercing the heart = Love is pain.

Gorgeous. But it looks like the location is going to conflict with Kaidan's campsite.... I'm going to have to check that before I get attached.
Something about this house is very soothing. Also, has Felix shrunk in size or is it just me? 😅
Yeah I shrank him because he is a pain in the derriere always under my feet!:)
