The Purito BB Cream is literally the only “foundation” I use any more. When you say your skin looked so smooth after your Jouer powder, I thought you were going to say it was the BB cream! I think it is velvety and pore-blurring! I have super sensitive skin and it doesn’t like a lot of change in products, so I just decided to only use this! You’re right that it looks grayish but blends out perfectly for me (and I am more pale/fair than you are). The shade selection leaves a lot to be desired, but it’s a wonderful product.
@@simplyblair I use a tiny bit of Make Up Forever HD loose setting powder … and same .. looks almost airbrushed. Also if the BB Cream is used sparingly and tiny bit of powder it doesn’t settle in my lines and wrinkles!
As far as the Mario blush veils, I have 2 which I barely use. I feel like it doesn’t last long if u sweat a lot! So I don’t reach for it, but out of the new shades, there is one that was calling me!
I love the new Mario blushes! I got the strawberry one and with a lavender eye it looks so summery. It’s been my go to look with the brightness of the blush and a all over lavender shadow it looks so beautiful
Ive been using eyeshadow sticks for years - a bit lazy with makeup and I LOVE the ABH and BB ones. Look at the dual ended sticks form BB, think you will love them too! :)! I LOVE your videos, thanks for always taking the time to be detailed.
I picked up the new tarte creaseless color corrector in peachy pink after seeing you use it, and I am loving it after a few uses. I can use this color alone (without concealer) and I love that it’s not overly pale and brightening. But what really stands out to me is the smoothing air brushed soft focus finish. I have textured maturing undereyes and it’s one of the more flattering finishes I have used. The color is better for me than any of the huda or caliray colors. I swatched it under one eye in Ulta and swatched the Bobbi brown stick corrector in bisque under the other eye and the tarte was SO Much more smoothing. Oh also I sort of love the skinny applicator because I can place precisely on the dark line under the eye bag. I have been searching for my perfect one and done under eye corrector/concealer and very hopeful that this is it. Ok I’ll stop raving now.
The one size setting spray is incredible!!!! I used it last night 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 it melted all my products together perfectly I was really impressed and stayed perfect all night … I can’t wait to get my Mario blush and balm I got the light pinks
Your makeup looks so flawless!! I love the Laura Mercier undereye setting powder! Im 46, almost 47 and its the best undereye powder for my dry undereye area and doesnt really settle in my fine lines too harshly. I say that cuz at 46 with alot of fine lines, thats just inevitable at my age, it still looks really nice and sets so well! I love it and highly recommend. I do have the PM one and I prefer this one, tho they are both nice. I really like the new Makeup by Mario blush shades! I absolutely love color, and these new shades are beautiful! They can be sheered out for a softer finish or built-up nice and bright! Its my first time trying the blushes and skipped on his original colors cuz they were just too light for my liking and when he added these i picked up 2 and plan on picking up one or 2 more! Im definitely going to try that underye balm and pick up the Lancome Bronzer! Martina is an enabler isnt she????😂😂😂😂 She gets me every time! 😂😂😂 i just love her so much and trust her recommendations. I'm so happy I found your channel through her! Been enjoying your content! ❤❤❤

Hi Blair. Thanks for another great video. I’m curious to get your thoughts on the Refi eye stick after you have tried it a few more times. I also bought it based on Martina’s thoughts on it. The first time I used it with color corrector and concealer, though, I felt an intense burning sensation, so I washed it off immediately. I haven’t tried it again yet. I want to love it though, as the idea of it seems great. Especially for us over 40 ladies. Please keep us posted on your final thoughts. Thanks!

If you apply the Purito with your fingers, it gives solid medium coverage and just melts into the skin. I know it feels wrong, but the formula is perfect for it.
Blair, I just bought the La Roche Posay Mela B3 serum for dark spots/areas and it’s really good. It doesn’t sting or burn like vitamin c can and it’s even a bit moisturizing. I use 1 drops for each cheek and I’m very happy with the brightening I’m seeing! It does have a scent that tries😅to help with the ingredients smell (almost like sulphur) but it dissipates quickly. Give it a try!
love the look - I dislike when brands claim 18+ hour wear. 36 hours is just ridiculous. As a consumer the ridiculous claims don't make me want to purchase more of a stay clear.
That combination of colors are absolutely gorgeous on you. I definitely want that eye balm ,blush and lip glow. Your eyes are so pretty and striking you don’t need lid space. I love the glow Mario lippies. You do great content and information, I always want to hear your opinion of products.😊
I believe the LM secret brightening powder was discontinued some time ago. It’s a silica based powder. Generally best type of powder for under eyes (as opposed to talc or starch etc). The By Terry Hydra Loose powder is very comparable. I would use a soft blending brush. Pressed version is also good but I would suggest using the puff included in the compact fold tap and roll to apply. Yay happy to see so many eyeshadow sticks. I adore them.
Love your videos! I’m trying to decide if we’re skin twins… I’m fair (winter) to light (summer) with a neutral but slight golden/olive undertone. Does that sum you up, too? If so, hallelujah! I may have finally found a reliable channel for bases, bronzers and blushes!
As far as Laura Mercier, they send me PR so I get to try pretty much everything. Never tried this powder but to be honest with you I’m not really a fan of their loose powder. I prefer their pressed powder.
I've used the pressed version of the Laura Mercier Secret Blurring Powder for years. Taylor Wynn always recommended it! Would you say the Lancome Bronzer is going to become a new holy grail? Trying to decide if I "need" it lol

I like both, but my favorite is actually the BK Nikki N14! I used it in this video for the Laura Mercier powder under my eyes, but I love the brush for concealer 😊

It depends on what concealer I’m using and what coverage lever I want. The Sigma brush has longer bristles & is pretty fluffy so it spreads the product out & gives less coverage than the N14. The N14 is better for more coverage because it’s more dense so I use that when I want the most coverage from a concealer. I hope that helps!

The BB Cream looked great on my skin too! I just noticed a significant difference when I added the powder, my skin looked airbrushed!

They’re definitely sheer, but I’ve found if I use a setting spray with them they last pretty well on me
