Thanks. I wanted a recommendation for a vpn router that would work with starlink (not all do). Do you have a video on how to set up a third party router with starlink? 😂 Thanks
With the threat from Starlink to cut connectivity in all areas not legally operational, is there anything at this point that one can do to bypass such limitations (anything software or hardware)?
You will of course need a 3rd party router to do any port forwarding, as the Starlink one doesn't have that functionality. To get around the CGNAT issue, you can upgrade to the $140/month Priority plan to get access to a public IP address. Although not static, Starlink rarely (if ever) changes your assigned public IP. Many VPN providers also offer dedicated IP's that you can try out instead.
@@StarlinkHardware I put Starlink router to Bypass Mode and use Asus router, still port forwarding does not seem to work. Upgrading to Priority Plan cannot be an option for me, too expensive.
Yep it’s pretty cool! It’s a “Starlink Action Figure” that SpaceX used to sell in their online shop. They have discontinued it, but hopefully they come out with a new Gen 3 version at some point.
How to repair star links dish

Can you recommend a travel/router- I am 100% remote (one of the reasons I want a vpn) and need something a bit more portable

No, since each Starlink dish can detect its actual location through the satellites.
I think the big problem with Starlink is the imposibilty of using port forwarding. Do you know any way around port forwarding problem?

Zerotier will allow you to port forward any type of internet connections. Vpn is not required to port forward.
@@khalishakhairani4795 I checked it. Works great. Thanks
Use a service like ngrok, or put up a small VM in a cloud, like digital ocean, $4/m, and tunnel thru that…. Piece of cake
