Nick's chyna sound is fucking fantastic. It's funny too how many other drummers when playing traditional blasts will accent the ride while, making for a flowing blast. Not Nick. He hammers away at the ride with consistent hits. The first time I heard this I couldn't believe someone could sustain that level of power in their blasting for as long as he does. He truly is a cut above many other metal drummers. Salute!

the most puritanical metalheads can say what they want but this evolution of dimmu borgir will never be surpassed, EVER! Barker's sublime drums full of ornaments, Mustis' infernal and perfectly executed keyboards and the incredible and melancholic voice of ICS Vortex made this band the best above many! Clearly respecting the pioneering creators of the darkest and most diabolical sound in history before them. DIMMU BORGIR IS WITHOUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE BEST BLACK METAL BANDS THAT WILL EVER EXIST, BECAUSE OF THE AMAZING QUALITY OF ITS LIVE AND MUSICAL PERFORMANCE.

Damn... Nicholos Barker is a Drum God! Brutal drummer. Salute to Nick. Music sounds more evil when Nick on drums. Nick plays that song like a walk in the park.

Man how young they are here... and so much headbanging.... with so much passion and feelings... these lyrics are dark yet real....perhaps some of the best dimmu borgir lyrics ever written.

All of their albums have always been amazing... I cant judged them for what they are musically but for their energy because either way they're killer amazing.... Thats is a complete band.
