I have been replaying this for like an hour. Beautiful performance. Ola, if you are by any chance reading this, thanks for sharing your gift to the world, you deserve all the success and recognition in the world, congratulations for the four-chair turn! And good luck!.
I still remember when he sang Say Something when he first joined The Voice. He was already amazing then but he has improved a lot now and it shows on his voice and how he can connect more emotionally. Just the first week of The Voice Norway but we might be seeing a finalist already.
The songwriter has said the song is mostly about the place he grew up. - You know, the place you couldn't wait to get away from when you grew up, but a place that you later understood maybe wasn't so bad after all, he says.» There are of course different interpretations of the lyrics. Its up to the listener…
🥹🥹🥹 what a beautiful voice ! I think the Voice Norway has the greatest talent there is ! Don’t need to understand the language to know what beautiful is ! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 He will go far !

He got a standing ovation from all the judges and the crowd after his performance. Gabrielle: Wow! This was completely insane. What an incredibly nice version. And an incredibly beautiful voice you have. Ola: thank you Gabrielle: Who are you? Ola: My name is Ola. I am 32 years old. I don't know if Espen recognizes me, but I was on The Voice 10 years ago and ended up on Team Espen. Espen: There was something familiar about you. First, thanks for last time. Ola, this was...I can note the year's first lump in my throat. I think it was so nice. Dewy fresh! All phrasing…tone, pitch, everything. This was lovely. Eva: For me, this is exactly the kind of audition I was hoping to be a part of. Every word you sang, I believed it. Every single note hit me here in the heart. Thank you so much. Yosef: I'm so mindblown! So magnificent, so calm, so communicative that even words I didn't hear you say, I felt. And what I felt most of all was that you were here 10 years ago on Espen's team, and you didn't win (a small dig at Espen, lol). Everyone laughs… Yosef: For whatever it's worth. Espen: I have to say that at Team Espen we have gone through a lot of improvement over the years. We appear to be a much more integrated organization than we were 10 years ago. 😜 Eva: But Espen, you've had your chance.… Espen: You have 4 mentors here who really wants to have you on the team. I think you simply have to tell us which North Norwegian mentor you want to choose (Espen is from North of Norway, so it was a hint that Ola should pick him). Ola: Before I start talking too much here, I will make a choice. I had actually decided before I came that I had hoped that you would turn around Eva, and you did. If I can be on your team I will be very happy. Eva: Ooooh, do I get you? Is that true? (she walks up to give him a big hug) Espen: Goes up to him and gives him a hug. Thanks for the last time! Good work. I'm glad we get to hear more. Eva: Now I got a pulse. I am so happy. When I was little, I used to do steving (stev is a form of Norwegian folk song)...and one of those stev’s went like this (and she sings): «My boy's name was Ola, he was standing outside the window looking in" …….and now I have Ola on my team!

I have listened to this so many times that I would probably learn Norwegian in the end :) Good luck, Ola! I hope you'd be the winner this year!
Yet another perfect diamond from Norway. My breath is taken away.
Norway has great singers.
thank you so much for including subtitles this season!! Both for the judges' comments and even the song - such a pleasant surprise :)

But this version he has made is so much nicer than the original by Trang Fødsel though. A lot more emotional and his dialect is perfect for this song
Espero que ele encontre músicas que o faz crescer, tem tudo para ir longe ♥
Phenominal🎉❤
