Completely agree w the asessment : highly soulful voice in the Marvin Gaye vein/range/area. Has he ever done any solo soul projects ? Saw him during 3/83 European tour, purr-fect concert; before the gig they played some Hendrix thru the PA, Electric Ladyland ones ...All along the ...etc. remember it like yesterday when I now concentrate. Have to dig up info on GW s solo lps. Is he still active...everybody s getting old, even me the old-age teenager from 83 ...So it goes - Kurt Vonnegut ... Time is a thief - Solomon Burke song ...
