Very good Masterclass. It will be nice if you can include the name of the bassist, music part and composer of each of the works that have been shown. It can be great for future generations.

A big compliment to Edicson for his patience!!! For a masterclass some of the students would have been better prepared, better might have been choosen easier pieces.....(marginally acceptable intonation and hardly any dynamic). ANYWAY! EDICSON PREMIUM SUPERVISOR!

Maestro Edicson has so much passion at 22:23 thru 22:46 and Nathan does not give it! The reason why Maestro did not rip the bass out of Harrison's hands is because Edicson plays Vanhal, and the other classical stuff, in Viennese tuning. At 1:10:27 Maestro wants Harrison to dig in with more arm weight and closer to the bridge! All you guys need to move closer to the bridge and play like a soloist. It's a dichotomy of technique for us bassists who spend so much of our lives in orchestra. You are so lucky to have Edicson Ruiz come give you a master class!
